"No, he proposed murder. I proposed cutting out his tongue. If you are incapable of seeing that the man is out to sabotage our enterprise, it is not my perception that is in question. If he is not an enemy, then I have no idea what might be one. You were the one who stopped me from merely gagging him. Either do something to stop him or I will count you as much of a snake as he. "
Talinthal Uth Mondor
Horgus will again chirp up after Dennis' tirade against the cleric. Paladin! Paladin! Did you not hear that? He is threatning one of the Chosen of Shelyn and a follower of Iomadae. How do we know that he has not been possessed? Though, if that is true, I guess even the standards of demons have reached their limit. I demand satifisfaction!
Vorshek Firesoul
Vorshek nods to Nalun.
Go, help their friend. I'll handle this.
He buries the point of Sempiternal Justice into the floor, and strides to the altercation between Dennis and Horgus.
Has the fact that we are trapped down here together escaped you? We have no way known way out, barely enough supplies, a fallen city above us, and we beset upon uh the very insects of this forsaken place! You don't have to like one another, you just have to survive together! Horgus, your tongue is too wild, Dennis is correct. You have insulted everything around you this entire way, from my appearance to noble Windsworn's intelligence! Must I point out that he is the only one of us who went to help those poor people, while we shamefully cowered and expected to be attacked?! I will EXPECT you to keep your comments to yourself, at least until we are back to the surface! Dennis, do not let him rile you, friend. We trained warriors must be able to be ready for any threats, and if his words unset us, then we will not be able to. Believe me, he has made me doubt myself more than once. Until we get out of here, we have to cooperate. That being said, if Horgus mouths off one more time, especially to someone like these people who need our help, I will gag him myself.
Diplomacy for Horgus: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Intimidate for Horgus: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
After his speech, he strides back to his sword, sheathes it one his back, and goes to see if he can be of assistance to the trapped person.

A non-alchemist who drinks a draught must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 the alchemist’s level + the alchemist’s Intelligence modifier) or become nauseated for 1 hour—a non-alchemist can never gain the benefit of a draught.
It's a DC 15 Fort check.
"Thank you my lord. That should keep him quiet for a while.
Vorshek Firesoul
Vorshek calls back to Dennis as he makes his way to Windsworn and the trapped person.
Worry not Dennis, if he continues, I will gag him myself. We cannot risk him angering people who could potentially help us.
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
Huffing and puffing, his face red with effort, Windsworn struggles to hold up the rock, with his northern born strength waiting for those two men to pull their friend out before releasing his hold on it with a mighty crash.
Hearing their words against Denis and Beltin, he would like to say a few words in his friend's defence but for now he has a rock to worry about. The effort to keep it up was great indeed.
Nalun Elzrahar
Please, allow me to examine you. I might be of assistance if any of you are wounded. We are Crusaders looking for an exit to the surface of Kenebres, a horrible thing happened and trapped us down here. Perhaps you know of an exit? Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
Windsworn takes deep breaths, his arms and back aching after such tremendous exertion. Waving away any offers of aid, he leans back against a rock solid enough to support him as he recovers while listening to his companions most eloquent among them to speak.
True to tell, He'll greatly prefer Dennis or Vorshek's style of speech. Easier to understand.
Beltin Benedict
He looks at the others and then smiles at Dennis. "If you think allowing someone to repeatedly insult someone when we first meet them and cause a huge argument is a good way to proceed, so be it. I see how you allow your own moral code to be used against you. It is quite a weakness if you allow it."
Dennis looks to the mongrelmen and speaks with his hands out and open.
"We hit bad man because he doesn't like you and doesn't want us to treat you nice. I think we should work together and we can help you."
diplomacy to assist: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Vorshek Firesoul
Vorshek addresses the momgrelmen with his hands out wide, showing his desire for peace.
Trust us, that man deserved to be hit. He needed to learn how to be nice. As long as I am down here, nothing will harm you. We just need help leaving the cave. Can you help us?
diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Talinthal Uth Mondor
The mongrels know of an alternative route through a tunnel leading to the southwest, and lead the PCs in that direction. They are very thankful for your help and will show you another way that might lead to the surface.
After winding roughly southwest for 1,875 feet (25 minutes
of walking at a speed of 15 feet), the tunnel reaches a
significant obstacle.
Ahead, a wide chasm splits the tunnel floor. The floating rock
dust in the air and the groans as the tunnel walls settle indicate
that the tunnel split recently.
The chasm is 10 feet across, 70 feet wide, and 30 feet
deep. The tunnel continues on from the chasm’s opposite
side about 40 feet east of the entrance. Climbing along
the edges of the rift is as difficult as climbing down and
then back up,
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
Climb 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
"Friend Dennis, Windsworn will do it."
Windsworn will also knot the rope before starting his climb and give one end to someone to hold on to as he moves.
Dennis the tainted
Dennis will get his armor off and then scamper down and back up with some rope. "Someone make sure to tie my armor off to the end of the rope at the end of this. "
climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 scampering down won't be trouble since it is on a rope. what a wasted 20
and back up
climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 argh
trying again
climb: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 then he will find some place to tie off the rope on the far side.
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
With Dennis down on the other side, Windsworn will toss rope to Dennis and between the two of them fashion a harness of sort for everyone else.
He'll go last once everybody has gone across, bringing the rope with him.
Vorshek Firesoul
Vorshek will take up the middle, helping one of the survivors if he needs to.
Climb Down: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Climb Down: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Climb Up: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Climb Up: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Dennis the tainted
"I think we better rig some sort of harness with th rope so we can lift up people who can't make it on their own. Someone strong will have to be on each side to lift or lower people. I can take the lift side over yonder. "
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
Windsworn takes over from here as he loops the ropes first around the waist, before continuing on over the over the shoulders, under the thighs and then securing it. He'll move down first in order to facilitate the movement and help in the transfer from one side to the other side.
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
Nope it isn't
Windsworn son of Galan Windborn
That's what I understand from how the others are getting across so yes.
Nalun Elzrahar
It got rolled into whatever skill the rope would be used in. Tying someone up is now just an opposed Dex check with a bonus. Tying off a rope for climbing is just a climb check. Lassoing someone would be a ranged touch attack, etc.
Talinthal Uth Mondor
What if there are different things going on. As I see it there is the tying of the rope to the rock or whatever stationary item is being used and then for most of the party shimming down the rope. For the NPCs however, there would be the tying of the rope to them and then lowering them down and then across. So it looks like there would be a few checks to be made, if I understand it correctly.
