The pseudo-dragon rushes at Li'luraant, thrusting his spiked tail at her. The hag doesn't flinch as the stinger bounces harmlessly off of her hardened flesh. She cackles at the creature as a smirk creeps across her face. A stone discus strikes her back, but bounces off harmlessly. The hag returns her gaze upon Niyut as another discus narrowly misses her. Suddenly, Truk'tosh calls out to his twin as he hurls his axe at Li'luraant. The trepidation of hitting Niyut causes the druid to short-arm the throw. Narrowing his focus, the druid's second throw slashes across the hag's back. She shrieks in pain but dodges his remaining throws.

Yes, Li'luraant is visible.

Just checking about the discuses. They are dealing magic and cold iron damage. From when I did my knowledge check that should hurt her? Am I misremembering? "Watching the cloaked figure, the oracle realizes quickly that it is an immortal abomination... a hag. She has seen these before upon the mountains above Earthenwork, but this hag is more powerful drawing energies directly from the ether to conduct a dark ritual. She is highly resistant to magic and clearly immune to the fire she wields. Her mind is steel and her skin immune to the touch of cold and weapons, lest they be magic, Niyut thinks. She is strong and has no weaknesses the half-orc realizes."

Could Gruskorb whip the hag from 20 feet if he climbed the tree?

Neither discus hit her AC. My description was based on the fact that her natural armor prevented the first discus from hitting her, while the other just plainly missed her.

@Gruskorb - you could try, but would need a DC18 acrobatics check to avoid falling from the tree limb. You'll also get a small attack penalty as the branches might interfere with the whip.

"A natural armor bonus doesn’t apply against touch attacks." I don't think NA applies to range touch attacks.

Neither Archives of Nethys nor D20PFSRRD indicates the spell is a ranged touch attack. Both use the same spell description... "Each discus requires a ranged attack to hit and deals 4d6 points of damage." Happy to review it again if you have a different source.

Definitely seems like it targets normal AC since they're physical objects and do physical damage.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25

Sped by magic and his own quick feet, the hobgoblin moves swiftly across the clearing and nimbly climbs up the tree. The tree groans slightly in protest.

What I want him to do is to tangle the hag up and flinging her at Lockjaw waiting below. It seems like a cool image. Is that possible? If it is what mechanic would it use?

If that is not possible . . .

Whip: 1d20 + 17 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 17 + 1 = 35
Vital Strike: 2d4 + 8 ⇒ (1, 3) + 8 = 12 Costs 1 EP from the Chimera's tail.
Sneak Attack: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 1, 4) = 13 I'm assuming that between Niyut and Mal's dragon the hag is flanked? If not, he will make a Stealth check to hid inside his mist cloud before attacking. Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36

If the sneak attack happens, the hag takes 1 point of dexterity damage.

One hand holding on to the tree, he lashes the hag. A hobgoblin shouldn't be in a tree!

Gruskorb lashes out with his whip at Lí'luraant. The razor edges of the whip rip into her left thigh as greenish black blood spills from her rotting flesh. The rogue pulls hard on the whip, slicing the hag's sinewy legs. The whip finally takes hold of Lí'luraant by the ankle and drags her downwards a few feet. Yet, the hag's magic is powerful, and she remains in flight, despite Gruskorb's futile tug. More strength is required... or more weight, to drag the b*#ch down, the hobgoblin murmurs to himself.

Seeing, via his sister's sight, their sought-after foe finally make an appearance, Garidan examines her carefully and waits for just the right time before striking. As soon as the moment arrives, he quickly paces forward, readies his blade, and loudly declares "Lí'luraant, Calledrym has decreed your death for your many offenses. In the Eagle's name, I deliver your just punishment!" As soon as the last word of his declaration is spoken, Gariden whips the rapier upward at the hag to release a long shard of bone, a muscle-straining level of effort going into the swing.

Taking a 5-foot step, then using Studied Target against the hag as a move action, followed by making a ranged attack as a standard action, at four range increments. Spending two stamina points to increase the range at which Point-Blank Shot is effective (to 40 feet), and using that. Adding Vital Strike to the attack (damage result is already included in the rapier damage roll), and spending two stamina points to reroll the rapier's damage (using the Vital Strike combat trick).

Evoking Calladrym's name, Garidan hurls the ethereal shards of his rapier at the hag. A crack of thunder illuminates the sky and drowns out Li'luraant's cries of anguish as her flesh is torn. Streams of ethereal ichor pour from her body. She stretches out to attack Niyut, but the whip holds her tight and she cannot reach the oracle. With a hideous scream, the hag's material form radiates with ethereal energy and she dissolves.

Gruskorb stumbles backwords as the tail of his whip falls lifeless to the the ground. Once again the forest is bathed in light as the deafening sound of thunder emits from above. The hobgoblin looks skyward with a puzzled look on his face. The night sky is clear with a thousand stars twinkled above.

Will do. (it's placed) Can you clarify something for me? Etherealness says that things on the Ethereal plane are invisible. I take this to mean See Invisibility would reveal things on the border. "You can see any objects or beings that are invisible within your range of vision, as well as any that are ethereal, as if they were normally visible. Such creatures are visible to you as translucent shapes, allowing you easily to discern the difference between visible, invisible, and ethereal creatures." Is this an inaccurate belief?

Yes, see invisibility would allow a character to see the hag as she is ethereal. I've left her on the battlemap as at least Malthazir and his pseudodragon can see her. And, no, Gruskorb sees nothing different above when it comes to the thunder and the clear skies.

Well, when there's a range increment penalty involved for Garidan's attacks right now, 5' could be the difference between one penalty and another. So preciseness is kind of required :D.

Well, when there's a range increment penalty involved for Garidan's attacks right now, 5' could be the difference between one penalty and another. So preciseness is kind of required :D.

Another point is that our illustrious GM can always assign an additional -2 modifier if needed, but that waiting for him to answer in these dark, uncertain times extends how long everything takes. Personally, I'm a big fan of if/then statements when I'm uncertain about game states.

I believe Niyut, Gruskorb and the pseudo-dragon are within range of the mummy's dispair. Niyut - You got your rd 7 action, so you'll be paralyzed during rd 8 and free to act in round 9. Gruskorb didn't get his round 7 action, so he'll have his actions in rd 8.

Just as Niyut's healing touch wells up in Malthzir, the elf's face turns to a grotesque facade of rotting flesh cloaked tattered wrappings. The oracle and the rogue freeze in fear, as does the wizard's draconic ally.

Witnessing the transformation but too far to be affected, the druid urges his companions to action and hurls his axe, striking with a ferocity never felt by Li'luurant. She whirls to face Truk'tosh but is struck by another blow from Morgrym’s Axe and shrieks in despair and agony.

The instant that the hag returns to visibility for the purpose of assaulting Malthazir, the swashbuckler braces himself and lets fly with a double volley of bone shards. The shards are beaten to the target by Truk'tosh's axe, but not by much.

Taking a full-round action to make two ranged attacks, at four range increments. Spending two stamina points to increase the range at which Point-Blank Shot is effective (to 40 feet), and using that. Studied Target is still active as well.

Growling as the shards hit to no effect, the swashbuckler draws his blade back to try again. But fatigue is catching up with him, and he doesn't think he can strike with the same accuracy as before, not at her current altitude. So, instead, he takes careful aim and sends but a single shard upward at the hag's head. Hopefully, the blow will rattle her and get her attention off of the increasingly ragged-looking Malthazir.

Gruskorb will apply the hampered condition to the hag when he sneak attacks her. "Hampered: All of the target's speeds are reduced by half (to a minimum of 5 feet). Sometimes Niyut is a bit jealous of the negative attention Malthazir receives.
