Lol, not sure he's that bad of a momma's boy. But yea, not gonna assume in a crowd of softly speaking murmurers that he would be practically hugging his mother to hear other soft whispers.

Male Knight / Destiny Point 2 / Intrigue Init: 3d6, Defense 9, Composure 12 / Combat Init: 3d6, Defense 6 (Scale) or 8 (w/Shield), AR 6, Health 9

Darne, no offense taken. Cassondria dropped a hammer on you. Just a bit ugly for me considering I have the persuasive powers of a wet sponge.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Yea, that is indeed a giant handicap you have in this particular situation. The best I can do is run around behind Cassondria's back and built up votes with the NPCs of the house and the PCs. And maybe hope I do alright in the Joust.

Lord Domeric is clever in his gift giving, even if he used Intimidate.

Waiting on Ophelia, the we move to the Hunt.

Move: 4/16 Combat Init: 4+2B; reroll 1's - Intrigue Init: 2d6 - Spear: 4+2B - Deception: 3 - Combar Defense: 14 - Intrigue Defense: 10 - Health: 9 - Composure: 12 - Awareness 4D+4 Passive Awareness: 20 - Passive Stealth: 8 - Passive Endurance: 12

I am ready, just hanging back as I was certain I would not be a gift giver.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Would I be able to have a moment to talk to my father during this gift giving ceremony?

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

How does helping work on a hunt? Since it is based on Survival I don't stand much chance on my own.

Basically you Assists the best person to give him a bonus to his rolls.

Yes we can backtrack and you can approach your father once he is done presenting his gift.

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

Once Darne has finished dialogue with his father, will the hunt begin?

Yes Garran, you decide to take the young ones to get bonuses, or go by yourself rambo style for the white stag, that is, IF you think you can get 21...

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

I think myself and Ophelia will be sticking with him during the hunt, if he was alright with that.

That is players thing to decide, trust me other NPC's will be around.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

I feel like Darne has a death wish or something >.<

Looks like Ser Weyland is goin fishin....

Unless anyone wants to being me along on the hunt, Survival is not my thing. :-)

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Yech, that man can murder me >.< I knew it could happen but I figured it was worth a small attempt to see if the dice gods were with me after that destiny point was spent.

Shadow's Status HP = 4/9 | AC= 15 (T 13) (FF 12) | (CMD 16) F+2 | R+7 | W+4 | Ini+ 4 | Per +5 | Harrow Points 2

Warlord, I would say Weyland sent that missive to its intended recipient early in the morning.

They got it, not a problem

Garran your time to shine has come for you!

You take all players with you, or you go solo?

I think all players have like Survival 2

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Wow, actually-> if all were to assist me I would gain 22 points-> +4 Glory to House Naelareon + White Stag.. go Marcus go! You oldtimer. Just waiting for Garren rolls and we can then decide what to do

OR if Garren get that 21 or just there, I might keep my rolls. That is +2 Glory extra for House Naelareon. Shame that I missed just with -1 that 18 :(

Male Knight / Destiny Point 2 / Intrigue Init: 3d6, Defense 9, Composure 12 / Combat Init: 3d6, Defense 6 (Scale) or 8 (w/Shield), AR 6, Health 9

Well, if Garran goes it alone, I will assist Marcus.

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

Geeze, I go to bed and the game blows up. I'll post Garran's hunting shortly.

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Garran, you are not only one. It seems like Devil himself get loose when I go to sleep. The post count explodes when I get up and check later the posts here.

Unbeliavable sometimes but well, thats what I get from living in Europe

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Just a guestion then regarding game mechanic or how you decide it Warlord

If I keep my Roll 17 +1 (18 total) from Matthias assisting me

and Garran goes with others getting 19 +3 (22 total) from others assisting him

-> Do we gain +3 Glory (Mar & Matt) and +3 Glory (Garran & Others) so total +6 Glory for House Naelareon

OR it will only be declared from Garran (all assisting him) getting 24 points-> +4 Glory? My question is regards if we split to 2 small groups we will get +6 Glory total or we will get that +4 Glory due to highest roll from Garran?

Here I am min maxing a bit to bring the best result to our House. Marcus will anyway give all his Glory (extrem loyalist and other stuff towards Lord Domeric & future heir) to House Naelareon so the House will be benefitting from it

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

ah god, I am so stupid.

By succeeding in the TN you get set amount of points. Everything is ok then.

So it would be 3 points from Marcus and then 5 points from Garran resulting to 8 = 1 Glory point.

Consequences:
Every six points earned = 1 Glory
The highest score character/party = 1 glory, 20 gold dragons and a future seat at the royal table.
Critical failure = injury as you twist an ankle or are hurt by your quarry as it fights back.

Yes, each TN is for Hunting a set animal, and that gives you a point.

This event takes 3 time slots so you must roll 3 times. Means you have basically 3 chances to gain at least 1 Glory.

Every Six points earned per player, gives that player 1 Glory.

If players make a team, only one person rolls, the rest assist him.

You must also tell me what TN you are trying to beat, not just roll to see how high you get...

Challenges:
Survival (Hunt) at a predeclared TN. You may make one roll for each afternoon slot dedicated to hunting.

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Uff, I was sure I had included that declaration to my roll. ah bummer.

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

Was my roll in the correct set up? I just want to make sure before going onto the next roll and time slot, or if I have to redo this one.

Out of curiosity, can a party hunt down the White Stag? Earlier, it sounded like you had to be solo for that one.

You can decided to go solo, or you can do it as group, not a problem.

Remember you have to say what you are hunting, before you roll.

No re-roll needed garran my mistake.

Go for the Whitestag, you get 1VP Garran if you get him in addition to the points.

Notice does apply.

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

I'm waiting to hear from the others before pressing on, if Weyland decides to be the tough man.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Someone was trying to be a murderer

You don't know that, do you have proof?? ;)

Shadow's Status HP = 4/9 | AC= 15 (T 13) (FF 12) | (CMD 16) F+2 | R+7 | W+4 | Ini+ 4 | Per +5 | Harrow Points 2

Tis but a flesh wound!

Arrow is well made, not of superior quality but decently made and white feathers, but it really won't tell you much except the archer is good and he at least uses decent arrows, which would make about most competitors of the archery contest your pool of suspects.

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

Okay, I think we need to figure out who we are going to name House Champion, as well as who will be the herald. Neither is Garran's strong suit, so he will be a spectator in the crowd, likely with the smallfolk.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Darne would honestly like to be Champion, the spear is his strong suit in the mix. He has 3d for Status 3d+1d For Ride and 3d+2d for spear.

Edit:And he would allow his sister to Herald for the group, partially to see if she can put aside her pride and do for the family more then for herself..

However I could see Marcus as being the actual Champion as he's probably the House's lead jouster.

She has to, this is for the House.

Shadow's Status HP = 4/9 | AC= 15 (T 13) (FF 12) | (CMD 16) F+2 | R+7 | W+4 | Ini+ 4 | Per +5 | Harrow Points 2

Agreed on Cassondria.

I suppose between Darne and Marcus they could both do so, there can be multiple riders no?

Yes, but only 1 champion. aka the best jouster of the House.

Actually Ser Marcus can participate, he has decent ride and Spears.

Jousting armor is calculated using Animal Handling x4 + Ride Bonus dice.

Animal H. 3 + Ride 1

is 13 defense for Jousting.

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Well I believe Darne, Marcus, and Matthias could all participate provided there is enough horses in our group. (One would assume so)

Characters can be in the audience or if you do not want to be let me know were you are.

Horses, you can have a palfrey from the ones in the Naelareon camp, there is 5.

Male Knight / Destiny Point 2 / Intrigue Init: 3d6, Defense 9, Composure 12 / Combat Init: 3d6, Defense 6 (Scale) or 8 (w/Shield), AR 6, Health 9

I agree, Cassondria would be the best choice for herald. I'd like to Champion: Animal Handling 3 + 1B ride, Status 3 + 1B reputation, and Fighting 4 + 1B spears. I would use one of the gouse Palfrey's.

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Ah, again there is a lot important information when I awake from my slumber. Does not really matter to me who will be champion but if it has to be "the most succesfull jouster", Marcus seems to have highest stats

Marcus has Handle Animal 4 + 2B Ride & Fighting 4 + 2B Spears

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Hm, should we wait for "Cassondrias" speech as a herald since that will affect our rolls?

Also not sure how I should present Marcus, not sure what deeds he could have done, but something along these lines?

-> The Chancellor of House Naelareon, Upholder of Law, "Terminator" lol of Crime, etc etc. with Skill and Beauty he is catching those rings and his lance thumps with force against that dummy.. yap yap

Male Human Fighter 9 | AC 26 29, T 14, FF 24 27 | HP 69/85 | Fort +10, Ref +7, Will +9 | Init +2 (+4 with bastard sword drawn) | Perception +11 | Stamina 11/11

I guess the next question is "Would Lord Domeric want his son chosen champion, or would he prefer Ser Marcus to avoid the appearance of favoritism towards either of his potential heirs?"

Male Knight / Destiny Point 2 / Intrigue Init: 3d6, Defense 9, Composure 12 / Combat Init: 3d6, Defense 6 (Scale) or 8 (w/Shield), AR 6, Health 9

If the decision for Champion is based on stats, then yeah, Marcus has the edge there. However, seeing the potential heirs may be exactly what will help the house best, whether it is Darne or myself. I guess it depends on Lord Domeric.

Destiny-P: 0 | Intrique: 9 Composure: 9 / Combat-Defense: 7 Health: 11/11 Armor: 9 information: House Naelareon

Well, I dont have nothing against it. If it does help with the potential heir issue, I am all on leaving decision on Lord Domeric. Might be interesting to see who will be doing it: Darne or Matthias

He can't pick Marcus, or it means both Darne and Matthias are weak, so he has to pick one of the two.

Ser Marcus is the true champion, but politics and appearances.

This is better for Marcus, it gets him more attention and makes Darne and Matthias look bad lol

Combat Initiative 3d6 Defense 13 Health 9 Intrigue Initiative 3d6 Defense 9 Composure 9

Nice power play there Matthias.
