3 Destiny Points Roll 1d6. On a roll of a 1, the Destiny Point has no effect and is wasted. Cursed
Ophelia is a young Dornish woman just entering into her adulthood, having celebrated the eighteenth anniversary of her birth while traveling north to King's Landing. Ophelia stands just under five feet in height with long, flowing, dark auburn hair tumbling down to her mid back. Loose tendrils frame Ophelia's round face, accentuated by her large dark almond shaped eyes. Ophelia uses a very small amount of makeup to help accentuate her full lips and eyes, otherwise preferring to leave the remainder of her smooth, unblemished, olive skin unadorned.
Generally preferring to wear her padded armor under the plain clothes of the northmen, Ophelia avoids court garb unless actually and actively required.
Background:
New Background:
The lands of the Nymeros family had suffered endless hardship. No sooner were the new ditches and roads built that a second doom befell the family and their small community in the far south of Dorne. Fearing the worst, that another doom would settle, Ophelia's parents sent her away to the Isle of Braavos in the hopes she would remain safe there until the wars had settled and the House had recovered. Although a bastard, she was none-the-less the only living child of her noble mother and her warrior father.
Such a simple solution, and like so much of house Nymeros, it was bound to fail. Soon after she reached her first blood, her parents had managed to find her a position in a northern noble house with hopes and promises of marriage. Although Dorne was not a part of Westeros, far too many of the Dornish Princes were concerned about the fate and ill luck of Nymeros, regarding them as cursed. If the family was to succeed, they needed new blood, new money, and hopefully new lands.
All was well for a short while, until her Westerosi family found out the truth of her family. Incredibly wronged by this betrayal, yet still loving the girl, House Dedding seized the Dornish princess to be. If her parents wanted her, they would have to come north and answer for their wrongs. Afraid that such a journey might be construed as lending aid to either the Greens or Blacks, the Nymerosi family simply abandoned their daughter, hoping she would fare far better in the north than the family had in the Dornish deserts.

Flaws
---------------------------------------
Cursed: Whenever you would spend a Destiny Point, roll 1d6. On a roll of a 1, the Destiny Point has no effect and is wasted.
Nemesis: The failed marriage and perceived lies and commissions of her family regarding her status in Dorne was not taken lightly. If it were not for her having saved the life of a minor lord, she would likely be dead. Some in House Deddings still wish she were.
Bastard Born: As a bastard, you take –1D on all Persuasion tests when interacting with characters with a higher Status. You do not take your family’s name. Instead, you gain a surname based on the lands of your birth. Ophelia does not yet fully comprehend why she would be considered anything but a child of her mother. The Westerosi views on Bastards thoroughly confuse her.

Benefits
---------------------------------------
Water Dancer I: You may add your Fighting rank to all Awareness test results and to your passive Awareness result. Ophelia was trained as a water dancer as the fighting style is more forgiving for someone as small as she.
Danger Sense: You may re-roll all 1s on Agility tests made to determine the order of initiative. In addition, whenever you or a unit to which you are attached is surprised in combat, your opponent does not gain the customary +1D on the Fighting or Marksmanship tests. Growing in in an area destroyed, not once, but twice, coupled with her life in the Riverlands have set Ophelia permanently on edge.
Blood of the Rhoyne: Increase your Combat Defense by +2. In addition, when testing Tactics you may re-roll a number of 1s equal to your Cunning rank. A proud Dornish woman, Ophelia is especially proud of her close heritage to the original Rhoyne.
