Newmark loads his crossbow and moves further into the room, Lanfied, can you get your cat to *sniff* out the location of the priest? Sorry I know the answer, just roll-playing a bit..

Lanfried:
as I mentioned before pushing is only a move action for you..are you sure you want to forego a standard or another move action this turn? I mean spells like guidance and Resistance last for a minute and are always useful.(in addition).as a free action you could order Grawlic to attack Orange (the cat would move but not attack this round because it has only one action left itself, because it stalled a bit trying to figure out your first instructions)..anyway there's an action left for you if you want it, offer expires after Hassan post his actions.

Just working to catch up and keep on top of this. Grawlic had a move left so he has moved and will attack next round. I have given Wassillissa the guidance as a standard.

Ok so before we move on I want to give two (3 counting grawlic) a chance to react differently than your round 11 stated actions..Hassan and Wassillisa are too far away...Hassan you may re-do your round 12 action considering what may happen...Wassillissa..you stand up while drawing your sword and grab your bow off the ground..that's 2 actions..you have both your bow and sword in hand right now O.K.? (btw HAssan u can keep your roll and Arrac is correct..Low is allays the miss for concealment in my game.)..Hassan after Arrac and Lanfried have posted their revised round 11 actions you may post your (revised) round 12 action (Newmark has already posted his round 12 action in this post)

Newmark shuffles through his belt pouch and retrieves a potion he starts walking towards Wassillissa and says, You still look injured girl, I've got something that may help. Newmark begins walking toward Wassillisas while trying to balance his loaded crossbow with one hand while his other holds the potion. Wassillisa stands up gathering her weapons while Arrac begins to menacingly walk towards the prisoner but pulls up short when he hears Grawlic begin to growl and sees his hair go up..the big cat is hissing directly at the space in front of the door where all the sick bandits came from originally.

Lanfried notices the cat is hissing at the same location...He suspects the cat sense something the rest of the party cannot see or hear.

OK to make it clear..Grawlic has 1 action left...Lanfried 2 actions..., Arrac 2 actions, Hassan 2 actions (in round 12) I will mark the square Grawlic is growling at...all pawns are located correctly. please revise your actions according to this new info

Hassan has AC 20 for AoO, but drops to 19 once he switches judgment after his move action.

male Snows of Summer

OK GM's call here because much has changed...I'm going to 'bot' Arrac..since Hassan choose to roll again on his to hit we'll take second roll. Since Arrac technically went before Lanfried his action will go off as stated.( He moved toward the prisoner and clobbers him with NL dmg) Only Lanfried, Grawlic and Hassan's actions are different (but change everything!)

As there's a lull in the battle Arrac sees the cat growling but ignores it heading straight for the prisoner and smashing him NL dmg pommel of G sword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9NL dmg: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 6 = 15 with the pommel of his greatsword, knocking the helpless-man out cold. Arrac hits the man so hard, that blood leaks from the lump where Arrac's blow lands and the man's nose also bleeds profusely. The Orange bandit groans for a moment and then slumps silently on the floor bleeding.

Meanwhile, Grawlic the cat alerts Lanfried to a presence near them. Lanfried, without hesitation, cast his most powerful spell of revelation, in the area the big cat indicated, that there was an invisible threat. Sure enough the outline of a lightly armored human male appears and looks startled at Lanfried's ingenuity. Lanfried immediatley orders his cat to attack the outline. The cat seems to grab hold of the outline's leg but the bite doesn't draw blood and the cat release the bite to try again.

Newmark meanwhile is busy meandering through his bag he stops for a second realizing the enemy is discovered but doesn't have a clear shot with all the commotion. Seeing the girl Wassillissa, is injured he continues in his task hoping to get the girl the aid she needs. He walks towards her hand extended with a potion, " You still look injured girl, I've got something that may help."

Hassan is not so ambivalent to the threat of the newly located priest. (he's scene the result of the priest power in the raising of the dead) Hassan moves towards the priest glowing with purple 'outlined' energy and swings his scimitar. The blow lands thanks to the distraction the big cat Grawlic has provided the inquisitor; a yelp of pain and a curse can be heard from the now not so invisible Rohkar.

Rohkar realizes his predicament and tries to move into the room. 5' step no AoO for anyone He begins to read a spell from what appears to be the 'outline' of a scroll. You can't be sure..but, all of you get a bad feeling that, if he finishes reading that scroll, something bad will happen!

He doesn't provoke from Hassan while reading the scroll because he's around the hard-corner? IMO, the hard corner provides concealment which supersedes any AoO, but have seen different GM's rule it differently. Does the caster have a weapon out?

Faerie Fire:
A pale glow surrounds and outlines the subjects. Outlined subjects shed light as candles. Creatures outlined by faerie fire take a –20 penalty on all Stealth checks. Outlined creatures do not benefit from the concealment normally provided by darkness (though a 2nd-level or higher magical darkness effect functions normally), blur, displacement, invisibility, or similar effects. The light is too dim to have any special effect on undead or dark-dwelling creatures vulnerable to light. The spell description says this: You give the target a mental urge to kill its nearest ally, which it obeys to the best of its ability. The target attacks its nearest ally on its next turn with a melee weapon or natural weapon. I think he has 'fulfilled' his terms of the 'command' his turn is over so the spell is over as far as I'm concerned. Arrac turns to look at the spellcaster, his brow furrowing as his knuckles whiten gripping tighter to his blade. He stomps towards the caster, and attempts to thrust his blade through his chest or ribs.

Your god will not save you from me. I hope he will be disappointed in your end. You are nothing but a disgrace.

He swings his quarterstaff at the priest.

The Huge Ulfen blows a stray braid of golden hair out of his face and *huffs* at being compelled against his will. He marches up to the evil cleric with purpose and then cuts the man down. Lanfried rushes in next to the Ulfen raising his staff to finish the job.

Lanfried:
Lanfried Arrac got to the priest first...you can strike the downed priest at will or stop your action and attempt a heal check on Wassillisa instead..or just finish this priest off. Let me know.

Combat Over!

The house is eerily silent moments after the combat ends.
A moment later an Eagle glowing with radiant light appears in the room.
Newmark remarks, Well..my celestial friend! You sure took your time answering my summons...Hurmphhh!
Wassillissa still need a stabilize check.

Getting up from his prone position now that the fight is ended, Hassan kneels next to the fallen girl and tends to her wounds, binding and bandaging what he can.

Once she seems stable, he goes over to the corpse of the fallen cleric, and begins searching it, looking especially for any kind of healing potion or other health-restoring item.

This likely may cause issue, but its what arrac would do.

Arrac stares the man in the eyes, making sure the last thing he saw was his face before his consciousness fades. Once he collapses,He will turn to hassan and say
I apologize for my weakness, I underestimated this filth, and for a moment he got the better of me. I will accept your judgement.

Before waiting for an answer and unless he is stopped, Arrac would straddle the man and stab downward piercing his heart before decapitating him, hoping that would keep the dead man... well, dead.

Wassilissa wakes to the treatment of her companions. Taking in the situation she blushes. Not too much due to the blood loss.

As Hassan is done with his treatment she sits up. "I'm sorry. I told you I'm up to this - and then I fall in the first serious fight. Two times even."

"I'd totally understand if you tell me that I'm not worth the hassle." she says, staring ashamed at the floor.

Wassillisa you're still unconscious (also you never did give me the con check; I'll do it now)
Wassillissa con check: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 - 1 = 7 After the fight both Lanfried and Hassan minister to the bleeding girl. Lanfiried's heavy clothes prevent him from bandaging up Wassillissa quickly but Hassan's practiced hands binds the girl in just a few moments. (Wassillisa has taken a total of 13hp damage before she is 'stabilized' She is at negative 2 hp. and stable but unconscious)

The Ulfen warrior walks up to the cleric and finishes him off without asking the others. He speaks with Hassan a moment then walks away in silence. Hassan then sets about searching the body of the priest. While Arrac and Lanfried gently lay Wassillisa on the large table in the center room. Meanwhile Newmark's celestial eagle disappears and Newmark checks the remaining bandits for life. He's astonished to discover not one has survived and suspects the priest 'evil magic' may have caused more than one of the bandits to 'bleed out' prematurely.

Newmark also quickly ruffles through the bandits pockets and sets there weapons on the in the corner of the room by the door the party came in from.

GM, I have a question. Both the cleric and myself are divine casters. Would it be reasonable that I could understand some of the spells in the book? Those that are on the druid list? I mean I can read, I can use scrolls of spells common to druids and clerics. Kinda hoping that there is a cure light wounds in there. If I use the spellbook and one of my daily spell slots is it reasonable?

clerics don’t use spell books, this is an arcane spellbook, Newmark tells you it probably wasn’t the Cleric’s ... probably just something he stole from a wizard...

I did wonder why he had it. That makes sense. I have an inquisitor that uses a spell book, but it is a weird archetype

if no one else wants the shortsword, I could take it until we decide if we want to sell it. In case of any encounters that a magical weapon could be useful in. Arrac isn't going to be designed around a specific weapon. 3/7 rounds of rage left. I think.

Newmark, what did you learn from the half orc? The one you let escape? Did she know where the noble woman is? Or her fate?

Arrac is terse and more than a little frustrated. His knuckles are white as he grips to the edge of the table leaning over Wassilissa. He nods towards the girl.

Will she be making it?
