With your CLW spells, Ellena's three LoH per day, and the potions we do have, maybe we only need a few. Of course, it's always better to have too many potions, rather than not enough.

Actually, I meant were we able to find a buyer, but I suspect you don't care to quibble, so I will proceed assuming we did. So the ring the party pool to 512 gp. Rashak's new spells reduce that to 382 gp.

I suggest a potion of lesser restoration (so everyone carries one), 50' of silk rope, a crowbar, a folding shovel, a hammer, and ten pitons.

That would cost 323.5, leaving enough for two scrolls of CLW and 8 gp and 5 sp.

Trying to be better prepared for some of the challenges we have seen thus far.

I am hoping to trade for gear more to Gwerm's liking if he's going to be fighting with us. And we obviously need to bolster our healing - we burned through a lot in those fights. So while I am cool with handing the stuff over, I think we need to get something in return.

Gwerm can use a MW chain shirt once we clean it up. I assume a masterwork rapier is not in the cards considering the wealth level of Neathholm.

Proposing:
We keep the potions, scrolls, and wand. We keep (and hide) the holy symbols for future study.

Lyddy would prefer to pour the unholy water out.

Horgus receives a masterwork chain shirt and a dagger. He is welcome to the masterwork longbow if he is comfortable using it. If he is not, Lyddy is proficient with longbows and he could use her crossbow instead. Either way, we keep the masterwork longbow.

Assuming no one is interested in the glaive or the scythe, we trade them in for a rapier and healing - scrolls or potions. The party gold would be used to sweeten any trades.

Rashak gets the spell component pouch to replenish his own.

Of course, I'm not being very inventive with spellcasting requests from the shaman - this is just a starting point. What say ye?


Sounds good, though I would maybe add a quiver or two of appropriately sized arrows for myself and Anevia, should she decide to become right-sized again.

As Horgus actually has a Dex penalty, he is completely uninterested in a ranged weapon.

The rest can happen. The extra chain shirt, scythe and glaive together can be sold for 438 gp - or traded for an equivalent amount of other goods, including scrolls or potions. A rapier will run you the usual 20 gp.

We have the money. My feeling is that we let him choose whatever shield he prefers from those available of the typical light/heavy wooden/steel options. Or a buckler if he prefers.

And my calculation earlier forgot about the 54 gp in catch we have, so our balance after the proposed purchases is 169 gp. A heavy steel shield for Horgus would make that 149 gp.

I'm not trying to delay things or be dense about the choices, but I don't wan to railroad the party into something just because I didn't see a better option.

I have a crazy thought. Our blind ally can probably use a crossbow with enough facility to give an enemy pause until we engage in melee. You know, while it's still just ranged combat? Would make me smile if he took someone out!

I'm going to suggest we add two more potions to the purchase list so everyone but Lyddy has one. She has her spells and the scrolls in my current thinking.


Aravashnial is extremely dubious about the effectiveness of such a tactic, but will go along with the idea if you insist.

Note: Prior to leaving Neatholm the first time, Anevia was given two quivers of her-size arrows. I'm not sure where that puts her ammo supply, but I think she is only now getting into those quivers.

I presume the extra quiver - and the quiver of small arrows - might be carried by another person, perhaps Aravashnial.


She's got a rather robust supply of regular-sized arrows at this point - four quivers, I believe, in all. The only issue she has is carrying ones that are the right size for her if/when she uses the scale; otherwise, she's to the point where her supply might as well be infinite.
