I don't usually roll for hp unless I also roll for stats. Use half hit die plus 1 for your base hit points (PFS standard), then add your Con mod.

I think Belgood eventually figured out he could wear the cloak, so if still ok, he should take that.

Would you like the masterwork Warhammer, if we don't get rid of it, Lyddy? I don't see Ellena ever using it, to be honest.


The flasks of oil are just oil, suitable for putting into, say, a lantern or, in a pinch, turning into a Molotov cocktail.

If no one in particular wants anything, other than the arcane stuff for Rashak, the Morningstar for Lyddy, and the cloak for Belgood, should we sell everything else that isn't a potion?

Belgood is just as reluctant to take the cloak as he was to take the silver scale, however.

I failed to note it in my list, but Lyddy is actually wearing the cloak at the moment.

If we will be camping in hostile territory, I think our armor wearers should consider taking the chain shirts - they are light armor, so they can sleep in them without incurring fatigue the next day, and they will have some armor if something decides to attack in the night.

Lyddy has no ranged weapon and little preference for it, but she will take the crossbow and bolts if no one minds.

I'm assuming our 'civilian' companions do not wish to use any of these items other than the arrows already earmarked for the lady archer.

Would Belgood be able to use the masterwork dagger as a short sword? Would he be interested in doing so? Does his mistrust of magic extend to potions of invisibility?

I'm not really interested in getting into the spiked gauntlets and glaives, let them go with the warhammer.

We might as well keep the flint and steel and trail rations - we have a little travel yet ahead of us. I think Belgood was curious about the oil and it would seem natural for the scout to have the caltrops to leave a surprise for a pursuer, but that's just me.


It's not so much a mistrust of magic as it is the fear of what comes with being found carrying such things. He'd react the same if you handed him a decently-sized bag of coin.

While I tried to find the scroll of Cause Fear (which I believe we found on the cultists, so it might well be divine, still inconclusive), I found mention of a chipped statuette of a humanoid throwing a spear - did we hold onto that/did it have any value? And there was another scroll - Shocking Grasp @ CL 3. Rashak, did you use that scroll? If not, it should still be in your inventory since you apparently picked it up.

I have not recorded any of these items yet in case Belgood or Rashak has a different distribution they prefer. Would Belgood be able to use the masterwork Medium dagger? Would he want to? If not, I think that's a sell if Rashak doesn't want it.


The dagger is the wrong size and would apply the -2 penalty, although it would be masterwork as well and thus only inflict a -1 penalty total as a result.

As for getting back on the road, I have started a new job this week and things are a bit crazy with the readjustment. I will get a post up tomorrow, however, and hopefully I will have a better handle on things now that the worst of the "wtf world" stuff is out of the way....

Has anyone appraised the knotted gold ring? If not, does anyone want to take a crack at it?

The glaives and spiked gauntlets would normally sell for 13 gp total. The masterwork warhammer sells new for 312 gp, so it will be 156 gp. The masterwork dagger new is 302 gp, so 151 gp.

320 gp for selling the weapons plus whatever we can get for the ring.

I propose that we purchase additional arrows for Anevia. 2 gp would buy 40 arrows. What else do we need to purchase?

I have stepped away from retail at the moment. (And none too soon, if you ask me.)

As for purchases, I too might suggest healing magic, if nothing else - Anevia is at 9/17 hp (or 12/17 after she gets another night's sleep), and Aravashnial is at 16/35 hp (or 21/35 after another night's rest). Cure light and cure moderate castings are available at the usual prices, and while a wand of cure light wounds is beyond what Neathholm can supply, scrolls and potions of both spells are available should you desire them.

Rashak, if you want, you have time to copy spells into your book from the spellbook you captured -the necessary inks and other materials are also available.

Good grief. Lyddy's been conserving her spells; I did not realize our allies were still so wounded. When she checks over their wounds in Neathholm, she will ask for the gods to grant them further succor for their wounds. Off to post it now.

I am totally good with purchasing healing for the road. I would lean toward scrolls due to cost since Lyddy's healing is spontaneous. As long as we have a potion or two to get her back on her feet if she falls, she can get everyone else back on their feet. And we have those potions that Sull gave us, anyway.

Yep, I didn't realize the others were that beaten up. Get them healed and buy as many scrolls as we think we might need.


Also, because Seer Opoli is a witch, he has access to some arcane spells from the witch list that Rashak might also be able to take advantage of. As for the cause fear scroll, it is indeed arcane.

With Rashak's Intelligence, he can probably make a good appraise guess at the ring's value. I say we let him try, or maybe Gwerm. Gwerm is a merchant type, iirc, and we can try to sell it then.
