SPECIAL ABILITIES
Armor Mastery (Ex) You become more maneuverable while wearing armor. You can move at your normal speed in medium armor that is made of metal. This does not grant proficiency in armor. At 5th level, whenever you are wearing metal armor, you reduce the armor check penalty by 1 (to a minimum of 0) and increase the maximum Dexterity bonus allowed by your armor by 1. At 10th level, and again at 15th level, these bonuses increase by 1.
Bonus Feat Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Bonus Oracle Spell Add one spell known from the oracle spell list. This spell must be at least one level below the highest spell level the oracle can cast. (Spark, 0th level)
Child of the Crusade (Ex) (Campaign Trait) Your parents were members of the crusade, as were their parents before them. The righteousness of the crusades sometimes feels as if it runs in your very blood, and it bolsters you against demonic influence. Your parents may be alive still, or they may have perished on a mission—that choice is up to you. You grew up knowing them, though, and their zeal and devotion to the crusade is the primary reason you feel the same way.
They’ve told you of other family members who have also been involved in the crusade, and it’s not uncommon for you to meet a distant cousin or long-lost aunt, uncle, or other family member while traveling among the border towns of Mendev. This strong family tie bolsters your mind and sense of belonging to the crusade. Once per day when you fail a saving throw against an effect created by a demon that would possess or incapacitate you mentally, you may immediately reroll that saving throw as a free action. You must take the second result, even if it is worse.
Chosen of Iomedae (Ex) (Faith Trait) At your birth, your parents dedicated your soul to Iomedae to mold into a sword of her light. The goddess blessed you, granting you a gift of light to brighten your path through darkness and a fine sword with which to spread her will. You may cast light once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level 1st), and you begin play with a masterwork longsword. In addition, whenever light is cast upon this sword, the radius of light and its duration is doubled.
Clouded Vision Your eyes are obscured, making it difficult for you to see.
Metal Mysteries You draw upon the divine mystery of Metal to grant your spells and powers.
Orisons You can prepare a number of orisons, or 0-level spells. These spells are cast like any other spells, but they are not expended when used and may be used again.
Skill at Arms (Ex) You gain proficiency in all martial weapons and heavy armor.
Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.

Description in process:
Lyddy is a child of Mendevian crusaders, dedicated to the goddess Iomedae at birth, and wants nothing so much as to become a paladin and serve her goddess as a holy warrior, but there has always been a bit of a rebel in her nature, so she trains to become a warrior in the faith, but has always failed the tests. When she was fourteen, she snuck into the armory to watch the weaponsmith crafting a sword, hiding in the rafters above while the workers toiled below. She had heard that it was a special sword and she wanted to see it made. Unfortunately, she could not tell what was different about this sword than any other and successfully left without anyone knowing when the workers broke for supper. She noticed two things on her way home in the near-dusk: that there was a thick mist that night, reducing her vision to just a few dozen feet, and that the shadows didn't seem so dark.
When her mom woke her up the next day, the holy woman looked hard at her daughter and snatched up her sword. Leveling it at Lyddy, she demanded 'what have you done with my daughter!', frightening the poor girl out of her wits. Her father, hearing her cry out in fear, rushed in, his own sword half out of its scabbard and was brought to a stop when he saw Lyddy's face. Narrowing his eyes, he studied her for a moment before sighing with relief. Putting his hand on his wife's blade, he gently pushed it down. "My love, we need to speak to one of the priests. I believe this is Lyddy." This snapped Lyddy out of her dumbfounded state, "Of course, I'm Lyddy! Who else would you think me to be?!"
Without a word, her father took her shoulders and positioned her in front of a mirror. Where she had once had cerulean blue irises, her eyes were milky and opaque. "Your mother feared you had been possessed by a demon. Iomedae has shown me no taint, so I believe there to be no demon. Perhaps the priests will know what happened to your eyes. Do you have pain? Can you see?"
Still staring at the girl in the mirror, she nodded dumbly. "I see just as well as ever, perhaps better."
On the way to the chapel, she realized - and shared with her father - that where he saw a clear blue day, unusually beautiful for where they found themselves, she saw a world full of mist. Where he saw impenetrable shadow, she could make out detail. The priests could only confirm that her heart remained pure, but none of their efforts were successful in either determining the cause of her change of eyesight or restoring it to its former state.
Since she was born, she had always been able to create light when she needed it - not often, not more than once a day - but as the weeks of the priests' questions and investigations proceeded, it was discovered that she could create water now, too, and more often than the light. It seemed that each Oathday, she would wake up from a dream of something new. The priests showed great interest and would teach her what the dream had shown. After a couple of months, the dreams stopped.
It was many years later before she realized that the priests were still watching her for demonic possession even as they trained her with her dream-provided blessings. She's sure that if any of the blessings had been baneful, her life would be much different, but they all seemed to be beneficial, designed to conquer demons.
Once she was old enough, she began to pursue her training in earnest to become a slayer of demons, a hand of Iomedae, a paladin. Now, it's been so many years and so many attempts, but despite Iomedae's blessings in her life, the Inheritor has never shown her approval in bestowing paladinhood on the girl. So she practices her weapon skills and aids in the armory with the making of new weapons for the crusaders that show up at the gate. And she studies how to kill demons. But no one wants to take a paladin-wannabe that can't see with them on their sojourns into the Worldwound, so she has yet to slay a demon.
It's not for lack of desire.
