Still awaiting Doran's save...

A number of cultists turn to go after Antonio and Reiko... only two get to you through the woods:

Antonio: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Reiko: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 4) + 2 = 8
Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Reiko takes a cruel cut from the cultist's sharp blade.

Two cultists engage Farmer Gotson...

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

The farmer grimaces, but the fight is hardly taken out of him.

One goes after the sleeping Cauis... kneels, and positions the dagger...snickering...

One engages Aya, eyes the only things visible under the hood...

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

One charges Liandoli, the only way he can get there.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

The hawk on Liandoli's shoulder launches itself forward at the man who charged her, trying to rake his face but only catching air. Liandoli ignore the man, running over to Cauis and thrusting forward with her spear.

Hawk Attacks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 71d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d4 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 01d4 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2

Liandoli Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The leader runs off into the woods, cackling...Blood was drawn! It is done! You have all FAILED!

Reiko will use the rolls from earlier on the cultist that attacked him instead of the leader.

Reiko howls in pain, and slashes with his sword, a powerful horizontal slice, and then he grabs the cultist by the throat, a massive burst of electricity erupting around the cultists' head.

Antonio, tempted to go after the cult leader, grimaces as he is lost to sight. He diverts to the girl and cuts her free.

Liandoli gives a grim frown. "I would rather the attacker escape and his victim survive than them both die." She leans down to Cauis, gently shaking him. "Wake human." She slaps him on the cheek gently.

OK, to keep things rolling along, I'm going to assume Doran failed the save... and is snoozing. He has the same situation Cauis was in.

Orrrrrr you could roll for him. :)

Liandoli, when you moved past the cultist, he got an AoO:

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

The one you hit with the spear collapses on Cauis. Cauis can make another save to wake up then (saving time trying to wake him).

Reiko, when you hit the cultist with shocking grasp, he tenses, spasms, then goes limp. You have the option of using the sword attack on Antonio's attacker.

Orrrrrr you could roll for him. :)

If he hasn't by the time I can post again, I'll do that...but I'm not planning on NPCing him...so...

Doran's will save vs. sleep 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Reiko will use the sword attack in Antonio's attacker then.

Really happy to see Doran. I was getting worried, but I know, life happens. :)

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Cauis wakes up as the cultist falls on him.

1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 4 = 16 If there is a nearby cultist, Cauis attacks from prone. If not, he stands and throws a javelin at the nearest cultist (roll result is 3 higher if he throws the javelin) damage dice 1d6 ⇒ 3 plus 5 for unarmed strike or 4 for javelin.

The cultist Reiko hits with his sword slices deep into the chest...cleaving bones along the way, and he falls into the crotch of a tree.

Cauis staggers sleepily to his feet and impales the cultist about to skewer Doran. Instead, he sprays blood all over the massive half-orc before collapsing on him (and triggering a save).

Antonio cuts the young lady free, and she collapses into his arms, face on his shoulder... Thank you...thank you! she sobs, gasping.

Also, farmer Gotson attempts to brain the cultist that stabbed him...

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

He does give the cultist a headache.

"Easy there. Are you alright?" Antonio asked the girl. How bad is she wounded?
Heal: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Then Antonio looks around for threats. And what was she tied to?
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

Reiko will try to make his way to the farmer on his next turn, if he can charge, he will.

I'm pretty confused on how the battlefield looks right now.

OK...on the battlefield... a cultist is engaging Aya...2 are trying to kill the farmer... the 1 you left will be coming after you...and you think there may still be some in the woods.

Antonio looks a little wierded out.
"Lets back away from that thing Miss. I don't like how that rock kinda... sucked your blood in and glowed brighter green."

He Withdraws from the rock, pulling the girl along with him. He remains ready to fend off any attackers as well.

In case he needs to attack; dueling sword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11for a possible 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 piercing damage.

Because of the woods you are in, Reiko, you can't charge...you can get there, and not attack... until next round.

Ok, I'll go into total defense when I get there then.

Tearfully... clinging to Antonio's shoulder... Yes! Thank you...thank you...

She's actually quite attractive.. almost marriageable age...a bit disheveled.

Cauis throws another javelin at the cultist threatening Aya 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 damage and then moves up to the two threatening the farmer. You bastards should surrender and face justice, rather than dying today in this field.

Trying to collect his wits, he sees if he recognizes any of these people.

"Hey Miri! You know me, it's Tony! My dad is old Ben Nedraid, from the farm up the road."
He grins at her in a friendly way.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
"Oops, we better go help your dad."
He will make his way over to help farmer Gotson, careful to protect Miriam along the way.

Liandoli finds the nearest enemy and rushes him, stabbing forward with the reach of her longspear.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Crit Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Aya, waiting for you on 11...done everyone else. You currently have a dagger wielding cultist attempting untrained surgery on you.

Cauis... in the dark, hooded, you aren't sure. Maybe with a better look...

Aya takes a five ft. step away from and unleashes a Force Missile (casting defensively 17+1+5 = 23) at the dagger wielding cultist attempting surgery on her. 1d4+1 = 4+1 = 5. (Not sure that I need to cast defensively for a force missile (sp) but did so just in case.)

The missile smacks the cultist hard in the chest...and he snaps up...and crumples to the ground.

The cultists are really thinning at this point...rolling Will rolls for them...
One behind Liadoli: Will: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Two on the farmer: 1d20 ⇒ 20 1d20 ⇒ 20
Two in the trees: 1d20 ⇒ 5 1d20 ⇒ 20

Wow, they want the farmer dead! Antonio, one is coming after you...and Miriam...

Two attack the farmer:
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

OK...moving on...Doran is catching up on lost sleep... Reiko runs over to assist the farmer...Antonio escorts Miriam out of the woods, ducking and weaving, with a cultist following...Cauis heaves a javelin mightily, catching one of the cultists trying to kill the farmer in the abdomen...the javelin protrudes out the other side, and the cultist makes a strange noise and collapses...
That leaves the one intent on Antonio (or Miriam?), and one on Gotson... the farmer attempts to end that:

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

At this point, Aya and Liandoli still have actions.

When I get to he farmer, I'll attack with my katana again, this time wielding it with two hands.

Attack with Katana: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Could that have been any more pitiful?

Aya unleashes a second Force Missile at the cultist attacking Farmer Gotson. 1d4+1 = 4+1 = 5

Lol...Reiko arrives, raises his sword, and watches a ripple of force in the air knock the cultist to the ground...where he lies still.

Jerking his head up...Miriam! Baby are you hurt?

The farmer's voice is strained... tears streaking his face...

Daddy! I'll be OK!

Miriam breaks into a run, straight to her father's arms...

Antonio saved me!

Are all the cultists attacking Gotson dead? If so, I stay with them, ready to defend, if not, I attack the closest one attacking him.

Seeing a cultist come after him and Miriam, Antonio shifts to a normal stance and preemptively attacks him.

Duelling sword attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 for a possible 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 piercing damage.

I feel your pain Reiko buddy...
