The various attacks slammed into Sakuro, and she let out a sharp cry of pain.

Well, that was totally useless. Repeatedly so, in fact, and she was starting to hate it. If her spell hadn't affected them at all, though, that probably meant... undead, not merely insubstantial. But still both, likely as not, and she took a quick five-foot step backwards while muttering under her breath.

The effect was immediate. Light flashed from the space in front of her, solidifying into a solid shape a moment later - a small horse, but one that glimmered with celestial light. Its attention focused on one of the spirits, and a burst of power erupted out of its body.

It lashed out with both of its hooves a moment later in a massive attack against that spirit. Unfortunately...

The first vision that comes is of a body, a young girl who is sobbing, chained to an altar. A small group of people wearing black cloaks and hoods are in a circle, chanting in a language that Reiko doesn't recognize, even though he's chanting along with them. Suddenly, one of the members steps forward and drives a dagger into the girl. A moment later, everyone else steps forward in turn and does the same. Her gurgling screams fade away as the vision turns to black.

The second vision is of the same group, taking the cloaks off and washing the blood from their skin. Reiko catches a glance of himself in a washbasin, and smiles. Spatters of blood are on his face, and his eyes are crimson. His body quivers with an energy that feels sick, wrong, but he relishes in it.

The third is of the group in a meeting, and there is some kind of disagreement. After a few moments, the argument reaches a peak, and half of the members walk out in an angry storm. The vision shimmers, and becomes the scene of a battle, the two sides fighting fiercely. Reiko's side loses, and Reiko is knocked unconscious.
