Mom's bday is tomorrow....but she didn't expect us to show up and boy was she surprised. She's gonna be turning 80.....there was no way we were gonna miss it. Especially with everything she dealt with this last week.

It was a long weekend. Finally home and unpacked, now on our way out again to get stuff from store in case the storm hits here. Once we get home I gotta finish laundry so I have work clothes. I have no idea when I'm gonna get some sleep before I have to be up at 3am to get ready for work.....*sigh*

Okay...I need at least a few hours of sleep before I have to get up and deal with stuff and try to get to work to in bad weather...well, it's not too bad yet, but I have to cross over the river on the bridge....so, it just depends on what happens. I have to get up super early though....I just needed to relax a bit. My ankle was killing me from all the driving I had to do this weekend.

Oh Eddie.....I wish it were that simple. He just needs someone to give him a chance.....that's all he needs. His abilities speak for themselves, but if no one gives him the opportunity to show what he can do what's the point? People suck....

That chance will come. My wife just dealt with the same thing for quite a while. Trust me it'll come, and the wait will be worth it.

We don't have that kind of time though and my job is part time and doesn't pay enough to make up for it.....I don't know....but something needs to happen cuz the little bit of money that we got from TIACreff isn't gonna last forever....I just don't know what to do and I'm frustrated as hell. It's probably a good thing that I'm on my way to the gym. Gonna go while I have the nerve worked up to go.

I'm just really self conscious and feel like people are staring at me when I'm in there. I did it though, got my HR up to 175 and kept it there for about 10 minutes.

yeah...the tricky part is getting it come back down slowly...but, when your resting heart rate is like in the 90's...eh, what can you do?

I work there, so they should be used to me. Besides it's just a personal thing ya know. I'm just not comfortable yet and I don't really know what I'm doing....but I know how to bust my ass on a machine, that's for damn sure. After I walked around for a bit I did some work on my back and shoulders.

I'm just not used to the machines and everything, once I get used to it it'll get better. My boss was there today and asked why I didn't bring my husband with me. I told him I didn't know I could and that I thought my free membership was just for me and he was all like, "No...you have a full free membership complete with guest privileges. You can bring any two people with you that you want to at a time." And then I was like, Oh...okay.

So, next time Henry can go too. Once I feel a little more comfortable I might even go in the water. They don't use chlorine in the water for either their pool or hot tub, so it's safe for me...I'm just not to that level of comfort yet.

I'm just not comfortable with myself....period. I know that probably sounds stupid.

I know about the mood thing....it raises serotonin levels in the brain...which is good for keeping me from wanting to rip people's heads off and such. I may have just a teensy weensy aggressive side...under certain circumstances. Teehee

Thangrom is going to be a mercenary who heard of Vinse's plight while passing by (and thinking it might be a good way to earn some coin and have a few good fights along the way) and is going to stick his nose right into it.

Mechanically, he'll be a switch-hitter and a second meatshield, to help take some of the pressure off Derika.

Awe...thanks. I know Jerrica was trying...but...well, we all know how that was going. Derika will like not having her guts spilling out every time she turns around.

I can't stay up too much later though since I have to get up super duper early in the morning for work, depending on what our whacky weather does tonight.

@Thangrom: Start with 1000 gp. You can buy most stuff from Yannus, here in Vinse. We can just assume you got your other necessities early on in your journeys.

Derika is spilling a lot less. with Abigail around, now if she would just be trusted enough to let her heal it would be better.

again, If I cannot post it is alright to bot Abigail and let her heal. people. especially if no combat is going on.

of course with Abigail's plans either falling apart, or interrupted, keeping you guys alive is all she's got at the moment

I wouldn't worry so much about your plans. What happens with the keep isn't up to Abigail and Vishanti has her own beliefs, though I think she already told you as much. You're good for more than just healing people and you know it. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just tellin it like it is.

I also believe she said she'd talk to you about later as well. Can everyone just try to keep in mind what the woman has been through over the last couple of days and give her some space? There will be plenty of time to discuss stuff after she has time to process everything, ya know? There's a time and place for everything and this just isn't it. Not to mention we're now caught up in a situation that few of us are comfortable with. I don't know what Abigails "plans" are, but I plan on completing this job, one way or the other.

When you feed a wild animal, they keep coming back expecting to be fed. Considering the cook is now gone and actual food might not be so readily available.....well, common sense should take it from there. Its okay, Ill just start feeding bandits to them. Lol

as i said, how does Abigail know the cook is gone? did you decide to tell her about your little rescue mission before leaving?

no... it was a secret kept from her, so common sense... the cook went to bed, and will be making breakfast in the morning. (from her perspective.

lesson one...discuss plans with party members prior to carrying them out.

Or how bout actually hanging around the group instead of going off on your own? You would have known if you were with us, and we don't always have time to discuss every single plan. We had very little time to execute the plan. And common sense should tell you not to feed wild animals in the first place. Like I said, its not just about the party. Nevermind though since you won't see what I'm trying to say no matter how I try to say it.

We'll see what happens and cha;k it up to a character with no wilderness or survival skills whatsoever. Hopefully we don't end up with a pack of ravening wolves staking out the courtyard as thier new hunting ground.

Got off work at two and just now got home. Too much back and forth today. The gyms grand opening event was like a madhouse and I went without food or even a bathroom break for over 6 hours. It was insane but I think they might have signed up quite a few people. Ill find out how the rest of it went on Monday. *Sigh* I needs off my damn feet.

Don't need a ranger, otherwise every party without a ranger would be feeding wild animals willy nilly.

Ah..didn't make the connection. Sorry. You're the one who keeps implying Abigail's a heal-bot. no one else has. If you play your motives close to the vest or keep separate from everyone else of course information isn't going to be communicated that well.

It works though, feels like an organic development of a party. Hiccups along the way and all.
