Atol takes a 5' step toward the cloud and gives a healing burst to the party (fast channel=move action). He is careful not to heal the wounded Renders and the Bone Devil.

He'll use his action to cast Sound Burst, Fortitude DC 17 or be stunned 1r (Q-R/11-12) centered so it hits the cleric & GR5 for 1d8 ⇒ 3 damage.

Atol uses Blessings of Fervor for +2 attacks/AC/reflex saves this round.

Dyrant sneers as the poison continues to course through his system.

Dyrant will 5' flap down (to the ground) at U18 and while giving the bone devil the yaky-yaky hand gesture with his hand, feigning disinterest in whatever the devil is whining about.

Retribution@ Bone Devil (7 round(s)) (DC 23) (Su) Foe in 60 ft suffers half the melee damage it deals, ignoring resist, for duration (Will neg).

Damage from Bone Devil is more than negated by the radiant energy of St. Cuthbert, as bequeathed by Atol. -3 Str currently. BoF to AC.

Aralynn will 5' flap into Finn's square to hide.


The devil laughs at Dyrant. "You are looking weak, like your god and his angels who hide from me!"

Atol heals the party and tries to disrupt the flying cleric, but just damages him a little. The cleric is 40' up so you can't catch a gray render, also. I'm guessing the cleric is your primary concern.

Toffitt tumbles into a flank with the wraith and finishes it off.

Finneas is unable to help protect Dyrant as both his swings go wide of the bone devil.

Glimmil and Cog finish off two of the gray renders and stand toe-to-toe with the last one, which is already injured.

The gray render sinks his teeth through Glimmil's armor.

Dyrant, who is flying and could easily NOT be in my way, took my 5' step so I have to retcon my round. The new round follows…

Atol moves into the fog to get closer to Glimmmil so as to heal him. He tries to tumble away from the Bone Devil.
Acrobatics: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (16) - 2 = 14

I believe that provokes an AoO from the Bone Devil, but I think the fog should protect me from the Render. (AC 31 currently)

He'll then channel as above but as a standard action and will not cast any spells. The channel was for 31 healing.

Not sure what to do as the party is relatively healthy, Atol digs deep into his remaining spells and tries a new one (for him). He moves to S-16 (provoking from the Bone Devil - I won't even try the acrobatics - Atol just isn't that nimble). Then he casts Pilfering Hand Steal: 1d20 + 15 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 1 + 1 = 33 (+1 prayer, +1 breakfast) trying to steal the clerics holy symbol. If the cleric is holding the symbol then he'll try a disarm (same maneuver roll) to knock the symbol out of his hands.

Concentration: 1d20 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 15 + 1 = 26 vs DC 19

Dyrant flies away from the action to get a good look at the cleric and readies, but then collapses to the ground as the poison continues to run its course. What silly person would make a character with a STR of 7. Now 5. That's a challenge. Love, Timmy.

Making the poor GM calculate a CMB A weak link in the chain from the holy symbol snaps and the symbol rushes to Atol's hands.

Toffitt joins in the flying action and heads towards the cleric.

Finneas shrugs off the hold person and crits the bone devil once, but misses with his second attack.

Glimmil and Cog charge though and finish off the bone devil.

Yes, I added the 2nd holy symbol, but any 13th level cleric should be carrying. However, it did keep him from being able to move and touch this round.

I can't remember if Araylnn was around, but the cage is similar to the one the fire giant had lying around in his forge.

Dyrant's body finally fights off the poison, but he continues to lie amongst the dead bodies.

The cleric glances at Toffitt, Glimmil, and Cog as they have him flanked. He lashes out at Cog, hoping that the gnome will crash to the ground with the flying dog (?). He begins with a quickened inflict serious wounds (automatic concentration check). He then pulls out his bastard sword and follows up with an attack on Glimmil. When the sword hits, Glimmil is also hit with a hold person spell (DC 17).

Dyrant rouses quickly as his strength returns to him, his hands grasping for his AngelRelic and standing quickly, ready to Cudgel the bone devil should it still live. He stops short of clubbing a 'normal' sized Finneas in his startled state.

His hands grasp and cover up most of the AngelRelic, his enlarged hands dwarfing the medium staff.

Looking at his hands, Dyrant screams. "Who has shrunken my staff! Who would dare change a relic of the Angel Wars of Occipitus?" Dyrant looks around angrily, his eyes affixing on the Wee Jas Cleric.

Dyrant points the staff at the Wee Jasian. "You will pay for this, heretic!"

Move, Move, done.


The cleric winces at Toffitt's first cut, but then smiles with the second.

"I have served loyally until the end. I have earned my place with her."

He then floats slowly to the ground as the blood flows out of his wounds and splatters like rain drops on the floor beneath him.

Dyrant puts his finger to the side of his head and recites something, trying to assure himself that he hasn't become dumb...like *someone*. "The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side."

Oh phew! I haven't lost my Doctorate of Thinkology.

Satisfied with his understanding of his current situation, Dyrant will beg Aralynn again for the gift of flight and begin to explore, in earnest, the soulcage while casting detect magic.

Atol nudges the dead priests body with his toe. While Dyrant is being healed by Glimmil, Atol will cast Detect Magic and take all the priests magical gear off him and pile it up for Dyrant to identify.
