So he is back to full.
If somebody needs more healing use the wand charges you need, and I will discount them from it.

            Jean somehow manages to find a pile of soda cans (which haven't been invented yet) to trip over as he starts to advance into the tunnel to the south.

The tunnel (B9)
The floor of the passage descends here in a series of gentle terraces. This passage passes directly under the mouth of the Velashu River and then rises into the rocky promontory upon which southwestern Riddleport was built. The rock here is extremely dense, preventing the passage from flooding, but nonetheless the constantly dripping water and puddles seem more prelavent here, gathering in 6-inch-deep pools in many places before draining into tiny cracks in the surrounding rock.
You eventually get to B10
This cavern is bathed in a strange orangish-purple glow that seems to reduce visibility rather than increase it, and in fact, seems to inhibit other light sources as well. The glow comes from a number of large rock nodules placed at intervals about the room. The eastern portion of the chamber is occupied by a still, black pool whose surface reflects the strange light.

            Jean examines the strange metal cylinders, marvelled at their weight, and the strange metal they are made of. Probably very valuable. They must take them out and sell them later.
He continues forward, taking care in not tripping with more of those cylinders, and examines the pool.
