DM Kludde |

Krensher unleashes the full fury of his irritation with the skeleton, and atomizes the skull. To be honest, there is very little left of the skeleton once the smoke clear.
Combat over!
The corridors eventually lead to the central command room. The bridge of the Endless Threnody is located behind the enormous crimson eye at the front of the ship, bathed in a blood-red glow. The crew stations are fabricated from bone and steel, apparently grown from the floor and walls of this room. Battle damage is evident throughout the bridge, but it is now empty and utterly silent—truly a ghost ship.
The bridge's computer is secured through technology and magic - getting in is not going to be easy
Both computers and mysticism will work here

Lira slides into a seat next to TRS, and begins to work alongside him. Pointing out things that are very obvious to him, but he's to polite to point that out.

DM Kludde |

TRS-80 manages to bypass the system's security layer, and manages to access the files of the Endless Threnody. The ship's logbook tell of uncovering a crashed spaceship on the planet Ulmarid, before being attacked by a pirate ship sailing under the callsign 'Lawblight'. The shift has been adrift in this are of space ever since, dispatching a crewmember to Absalom station to search for parts....
Returning to the Loreseeker, the group makes contact with Arvin, who sounds very pleased. Arvin provides a password to open a concealed compartment within the Loreseeker that contains delicacies that are suitable to most palates, such as sticks of candied meats. “I know this mission isn’t yet complete,” he explains, “but you’ve earned the right to celebrate a bit on your return trip. I asked the quartermaster to include a few delicacies so you can enjoy being alive—after an encounter with necromancy.”
Return to base, crew!
Upon returning to Absalom station, there is little time for anything else but to transfer to a larger class ship, a Society Drake. The ship launches before any briefing, with the crew on board, and about an hour later a hologram message arrives.
Venture-Captain Arvin’s pre-recorded hologram stands on the bridge of the Odyssey, his hands clasped behind his back. “Hopefully your journey was uneventful. Based on your previous mission, we’ve obtained information about the planet of Ulmarid. The desert world has breathable atmosphere but is devoid of intelligent civilization. A cloud of asteroids—leftovers from a collision of the planet’s moons long ago—surrounds the planet, so you must carefully navigate the Odyssey to the surface to find the crashed Unbounded Wayfarer.
“Be sure to bring the Starfinder insignias with you; they will be critical in recovering the information the Starfinders left behind. If you can recover any of the lost Starfinders—alive or dead—please do so as well. Good luck.”
You can make a Computers check to dive through the ship's database.
Ulmarid is surrounded by a dense layer of asteroids - navigating it is going to be tricky. I need a piloting check. The captain can aid (with intimidate or piloting) and the science officer can aid with a computers check

![]() |

Krensher grumbles once the mission briefing is done. "So we have to go find a crashed ship. They probably just couldn't hack it. Starfinders need to be able to survive in any situation. Morons."
When it comes time to navigate the asteroids, Krensher stands directly behind the pilot and barks harsh orders at him/her. Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 but is likely not very helpful this time.

Lira navigates through the asteroid's safely, even though she has a couple of close shaves with some big rocks. When entering the atmosphere, she picks up the distress beacon of the Unbounded Wayfarer. It crashed amid sand dunes, which are too soft to bear the Odyssey's weight. The nearest landing sport is about an half-hour walk away. There, on a slab of rock, the Oddysey can land safely.
The surface of Ulmarid is a wind-scoured desert with jagged protrusions of rock thrusting up through the sand. The air has a harsh tang, like burning metal.
If you venture out to the crash site, I need a survival check from all of you

Abotu halfway between landed ship and crashed ship, Quig spots a cloud of dust on the horizon. When he points it out to TRS, he remembers a particular entry stored in his databanks: Ulmarid. Mostly harmless, except for the sudden and ferocious storms of poisonous crystals in the atmosphere.
It's time to run for cover, though the open dunes of Ulmarid offer very little. There is little other option but to ride out the storm.

Lira doesn't manage to avoid all of the crystals in the atmosphere as the group runs for cover.
