Starfinder Society: Quest Pack #1:Into the Unknown

Short blurb:
The Starfinder Society needs a team to investigate a distress beacon. Explore the future of science fantasy with five quests featuring urban brawls, frontier gunfights, starship combat, and more!

Long Description:
A series of six Starfinder Quests designed for 1st-level characters. When a mysterious visitor comes to Absalom Station selling items belonging to a lost Starfinder, the Starfinder Society takes note. The PCs are dispatched to discover out how the recent arrival found these items, leading them on a series of quests beyond the Pact Worlds and into the stars. “Into the Unknown” includes five, 1-hour adventures that take the PCs from exploring Absalom Station, to partaking in starship combat, to exploring an alien world. The fifth adventure in the series provides a stunning conclusion that takes the PC’s previous accomplishments into account for a climactic final showdown against an enemy starship.

The crunch:

I'll be starting this in the second slot of the gameday, which runs from October 6th to November 17th.
This will give me the chance to survive con-season before giving this a go.

Pregenerated characters will be available. If you want to try out Starfinder and/or Starfinder society, this is a great place to start. The quests will cover the major types of play, so you get to experience everything in bite-sized chunks.

There will be room for six players.

YES! YOU SHALL BE MINE!

I'm with you too!

Looking to make a Mystic Overlord with aspirations to the HellKnights, probably Human.

ShadowBloodmoon's Character... unless this one requires us to use pregen. I don't have the Quest PDFs yet to look...

If you're still looking, my schedule should be free enough in that time-frame. Plus, it gives us time for the rules to actually come out.

We're just going to have to see. PFS quests are restricted to pregens only the fist year after they have come out. We will just see after the PDF drops. If you cant use your character, it will be a nice opportunity to test drive a new class.

Welcome!

This means we're full up.

As it will take a while before we start, if any of you cant make it, let me know.

We can likely assume that the pregens will be based on the iconics. Based on that, they may include:

  • Raia (lashunta technomancer)
  • Iseph (android operative)
  • Obozaya (vesk soldier)
  • Keskodai (shirren mystic)
  • Altronus (kasatha solarian)
  • Navasi (human envoy)
  • Quig (ysoki mechanic)

If that is the case, I call dibs on Iseph...

Grand Lodge

I'd prefer to bring my own character but if not Altronus looks interesting.

The pregens are officially out. No idea yet if you need to use a pregen for this or can use your own character.

According to the blog pregens are required for the quests.

I would very much like to play these scenarios if someone drops out.

@GM Woran
Any chance we could get a discussion thread going?

Also, the pregens are available for download here.

Discussion is open.

1 Magabeus
2 Shadow Bloodmoon
3 Zoomba
4 Chaosorbit
5 Xazil
6 The Dread Pirate Hurley
