If Iseph is confused by the goblin's words, lacking the context of what Raia sees, the android's face doesn't show it. They quickly move their gun to the one who seems like he is about take off. "Clarify what you mean by 'sacrificed to the spirit'."

Raia interjects at Twilik's question " Well, I believe that their 'Glowing Green God'... is the computer system which controls what is left of this Hangar...It would make sense that 'the spirit' is some similar piece of technology.

She then leans down and looks the Goblin in they eye and speaks very firmly yet quietly "you will show us where your 'glowing green god' is and we may yet release you"

The goblin appears a little perplexed by Raia's explanation of his god and the spirit... but then, in answer to Raia's question, he points up at the room on the catwalk 40' up. "Gutproud Techtalker up there with Glowing Green God."

Iseph watches Raia and Obozata make their way to the upper level, but keeps their gun trained on the talkative goblin, ready for any surprises.

I wonder what goblin programming languages are like, Navasi wonders as she anticipates the inevitable pounce of the tech-talker.

Keskodai is left panting and speechless after the battle. He's not so used to killing but it really does give him a rush. He listens as the others interrogate the goblin. and then follows them to the computer room whispering quietly to his son about how sometimes killing is necessary and a part of life. He reloads his pistol and carries it ready.


The party goes up the ladder to the catwalk 40 feet above the hangar floor...

An electronically locked steel door bars your passage into the room.

"Allow me to take a look at it." Iseph approaches the door and examines the electronic lock.

Iseph unlocks the door with easy and the door swings open...

A soft glow radiates from flickering computer screens, washing the various numerous workstations under a film of light the color of sea foam. The constant hum of electronics floods the room, enhanced periodically by several nagging pings from blinking console alarms. The computer to the east (top of the map) seems to be sparking.

iseph had to leave the goblins to work the door... someone keeping an eye on them?

Raia is still with the Goblins. Just watching and waiting

As Iseph leaves to inspect the door, Raia looks around for some wires which could be used to bind their captives.

Spotting some in the debris, she raises a hand and the lengths of wire begin to move towards her. Using Psychokinetic hand

Once the wire reaches her she looks at the two goblins "If you do anything but breath, you will wish that you had fallen in battle with your friends."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Raia will then begin binding each of the Goblins hands and feet but will cast Daze in response to any attempts by the Goblins to attack or escape.


The goblins seem quite afraid and timidly allow themselves to be tied up.

Raia calls out telepathically to Iseph, "Is the Goblin in there?" , as she looks quizzically in the direction of the room.

"I do not see Techtalker up here," Iseph responds to Raia as they enter the room. Iseph carefully approaches the sparking computer, keeping an eye out for anything unusual.

As the party steps into the room the can make out a green-screened mainframe computer terminal covering the eastern side of the command center. It periodically showers the area in harmless sparks as thick cables sprawl from underneath its exposed bulk. The cables partially bury the charred remains of a goblin— likely the former wire-shaman, Gutproud Techtalker.

He enters the room cautiously leaning on his staff. "Might I have a look as well?" He carefully examines the computers and the seen before him.

Because Klude is there Keskodai will enact communalism which allows him once per day if an ally is within 10 feet to reroll 1 attack roll or skill check

Telepathically to Iseph So if techtalker is not up there....what is going on? Raia continues as she takes a seat on a piece of debris and looks curiously in the direction of the computer room.

If these Goblins have been lying to us...they will regret it

Update. We have found the corpse of the gobin, Iseph responds to Raia as he enters the chamber. We are attempting to determine the cause now.

Using your computers skills you're able to tell that the mainframe is in poor shape, but the deceased techtalker goblin had done quite a bit of work. Due to the exposed wiring and the groundwork already completed by the deceased goblin wire-shaman, it does not look like it would be too difficult for a competent engineer to fix.

"I will retrieve Raia to inspect the computer herself," Iseph announces. Once back on the ground floor, Iseph offers, "I will stand guard over the goblins if you wish to upstairs. There is a broken computer that could use your expertise."

ugh damn phone...so hard to make sure you have the right alias..sigh

"Ah excellent" says Raia as she perks up at the notion of something interesting to tinker with. "Guarding these vermin was getting a little dry....all yours Iseph".

Raia then stands up very quickly, holsters her pistol and heads straight upstairs and into the mainframe room.

She whistles with awe as she enters and sees the charred remains of Techtalker, "clearly didn't speak the same language as the computer. Now...lets see what we have here", she continues slapping and rubbing her hands together as if she is about to dig into a well cooked meal.

Raia then walks carefully over to the mainframe and begins working.

Engineering: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31


After extracting the goblin, Raia works magic on the disheveled mainframe. She does so well, that the cables are zip tied together in corresponding bundles of colors and purpose. With a click the final access hatch is replaced and the mainframe looks as good as new.

The mainframe finishes a self-check and reboot, ending on a screen that just displays seven spaces, and a blinking cursor awaiting a 7 digit numerical code.

"The damn thing needs a passcode", then then snaps her fingers as an idea comes to her and she walks back over to the airlock and sticks her head out the door.

"ISEPH!", she calls down to the hanger floor, "Do those Goblins know anything about a passcode, or a string of 7 numbers?"

While they wait for Iseph, Keskodai searches the room for something that looks like it could give them a clue. (drawers, walls, underneath the desk)

Keskodai discovers a discarded key card lodged between the armrest and cushion of the north-most chair. It looks like a security card used to identify a person.

To save a couple posts, when inserted, the screen indicates recognition, but the seven digit code entry remains on the screen.

Iseph looks at the goblins, unblinking. "You heard the Lashunta. Do you know any passcodes, passwords, or secret numbers?" They examine their pistol uninterestedly in a show to remind the goblins of the gun ready to fire on them if they don't cooperate.

And they both stick out their arms... showing a pattern burned into their left forearms. Iseph identifies this pattern as a series of numbers translated, it reads “5731170”

Entering that passcode grants you access to the mainframe.

After some futzing around the party discovers It'll still take some hacking to get into anything of importance.

With the keycard and password in hand, Raia works eagerly at the computer system, a slight smirk across her Lashuntan face indicating that she secretly reveled in this type of work.

Computers: 1d20 + 14 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 4 = 26


With a little work Raia gets into the system and gains access to the following operations

- Turn the hangar’s lights on and off
- Activate or deactivate (most) any electronically sealed doors
- Silence the alarms pinging within the room.
- Pinpoint the source of the mysterious signal
- Adjust the ambient temperature between 66° and 78° F.

Raia discovers a third countermeasure... another firewall protecting some more functions.


That would require another hacking/computers role

"I'm in" explains Raia as she sees the options appear in the screen.

"But there is something else here....wait a minute let me see if I can get through this firewall"

She then carefully probes the firewall for weaknesses.

Navasi watches in awe as Raia casually works through the computer security.


Trying some old, but tried and true methods, Raia breaks through the final fire wall. Getting into the systems primary APIs, she's able to establish a link between the mainframe to her personal comm unit. She now can operate any of the computer functions remotely.

She feels as if she has discovered all she can here.

Once through the firewall, Raia moves back and forth between fiddling with the comm unit on her arm and the mainframe, the entire time, that slight smirk gradually widening to a full on smile as she realises she has gained remote access and control of the mainframe.

She then turns back to the party and grins micheviously, "Look what I can do" she then taps a few buttons on her comm unit and all of the computer alarms in the area cease.

"I now have full remote access and can control most of the facilities functions."

Then turning back to her comm unit she attempts to pinpoint the mysterious signal's origin.

Iseph looks up as they hear the alarms in the computer room cease, remaining expressionless. It sounds like Raia has succeeded. The android quickly turns their attention back to the goblins.

Did you say you can open doors with the computer? What about those two? Navasi says, pointing to the opposite side of the hangar bay
