Can I move to a firing station for a round, I don't really see another option that would help us now?

I do not currently know of a reason you can not switch roles at will. Until I discover otherwise (and I need to reread the ship chapter, we'll go with you being able to switch to a gun.

"You can switch between roles but this change must occur at the start of a round before the Engineering phase" - CRB Pg 322. Also you would loose the +2 I gave you. You could always re balance our shields, but I would target their weapons or engines

Well s$%&... was confirming crew size and from what I understand now, these are tiny racers with 1 crew... SO as I understand it, the pilot can fly and take a single shot with a penalty. Since they fired a ton last time thinking it was a bigger crew... I'll forgo shooting now as the guns cool!

The +2 to Science is only until the enxt Engineering phase when I can transfer power to any other system. If you are planning to move to gunner I wont transfer it to Science again, Ill probably boost shields or something.

As for the number of Gunners, we can have as many as we like. Each gunner can control ANY of the ships weapons. The catch is that each gun can only be fired once per round.

So the more gunners we have the more damage we can do in a round (without the need to take a -4 penalty for firing two weapons at the same time).

The two ships that swung in behind the Pegasus get in heavy hits with their flak turrets... shields are nearly depleted... good think Raia had boosted the shields!

Keskodai....I need you back on the science station to rebalance our shields. I can only boost them a little and they wont take another beating like that States Raia telepathically to Keskodai amogst all of the proximity alarms and weapon impacts.

GM, I am slightly confused by our shields ATM. you said that we got hit in our rear shields but you say they are still full? Can you please confirm so we can rebalance if needed.

You can only move at the start of a round. So shoot this round then move during the next.


The stats show the aft shields at 3... I think I just said "nearly depleted" and it was good that Raia had boosted them (else they would have been gone.) Don't see where I said they were still full (and if I did, I was wrong)

All you can do right now is fire.... then move at the beginning of the round like Raia said.

Round 3 Wrap up
The goblin ships swarm around the Pegasus. The two junkers to her aft hit the Pegasus with a hail of flack, nearly depleting the aft shields. Thankfully, pieces fly off of the yellow junker's forward laser as it misfires.

Meanwhile, all fire from the crew of the Pegasus misses their prey... the situation is beginning to look dire as goblin junkers are moving in. It's only a matter of time before the tractor beam from the surface snares the ship!

Raia enters the same series of commands as before and it becomes clear that the Technomancy is strong with this one. Almost as soon as the final command is entered, as if she can speak to the computer, her console lights up again indicating that shields have been boosted.

"Thats what I like to see....SHIELDS REINFORCED" she shouts to the rest of the crew, "NOW KINDLY DISPOSE OF THESE GOBLINS ALREADY"

GM, shields should now be (FPAS) 15/15/10/10. I would also like to point out a clarification in the Paizo FAQ for Starfinder that says "You can distribute the restored Shield Points across the shield's four quadrants as you see fit."

"Affirmative," Iseph nods, and pulls back on a handle. As he does, the starship begins moving backwards, while staying aimed at the goblin junkers.
