Milah Ashkenazi
Initiative: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5, 2) + 4 = 16
Milah silently dashes past the closest goblin dogs, rapier flashing as she reaches the furthest of them.
Move action: As indicated on map (taking advantage of flat-footedness, but I can roll for parry/riposte if needed)
Standard action: Attack goblin dog (south of Milah's position)
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18)): 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 3, 3) + 7 = 15
Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Hmm... usually you can only do one action on a surprise round. A partial charge could work, but then you would have to attack one of the other dogs...
Milah Ashkenazi
Sorry, completely forgot about the whole surprise round thing. I've repositioned Milah on the map; she will do a partial charge action.
DM ShadowBloodmoon
need an initiative roll from you Moa'taar and Zarque needs initiative and an action, or I will bot later.

Goblin Dogs- 13
Aurica- 10
Moa'taar- 9
Zarque- 7
Milah easily moves up and pierces the dog's flesh with her rapier, causing it to yelp in pain. Moa'taar moves closer and Zarque weighs her options.. delay
Milah is up and Zarque can go at anytime before or after her if she wishes.
Milah Ashkenazi
Milah's rapier thrusts into the injured beast again, then she quickly maneuvers between the remaining goblin dogs.
Standard action: Attack goblin dog

Move action: As indicated on map
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Milah's weapon flashes again, ending the suffering of one of the dogs, quickly moving to dispatch another one. As she does so, Shalelu prepares her bow at the edge of the clearing.
The dog closest to Milah snaps at her, its rope barely containing him. The other one charges at Moa'taar, slobber dripping as it goes for the investigator's bum leg..

Milah blocks the goblin dog's attack and retaliates immediately, her blade piercing the creature's mangy skin...

Zarque throws a little ball of gold at the goblin dog fighting Milah. Once it almost reaches the dog, the ball explodes almost instantly into strands of molten gold that quickly hardens and cools.
Refluffed crystal blast, d4 dmg, dog must make a reflex save (dc 14) or be entangled. That square counts as difficult terrain until the "gold" is destroyed (3hp per cl) or fades (lasts 1 minute).
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Gold Burst Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
The burst of gold momentarily frightens the goblin dog as the strands of molten precious metal harden into shackles before it can reach Moa'taar.
Milah easily dispatches another of the dogs even as it attempts to bite her.
Initiative Round 2
Milah- 16 - done
Zarque- 15 - done
Shalelu- 14 (Ready)
Goblin Dogs- 13 (1 Asleep, 2 at 13 damage KO, 3 at 12 dmg KO and 4 at 3 dmg and Entangled)
Moa'taar- 9
Moa'taar, you still have your turn from last round to take before the last dog goes.. it is entangled at the moment.

Moa'Taar aims and fires his crossbow at the dog that was going to attack him.

Moa'taar's bolt silences the last dog, but just as you are about to claim victory, you hear Aurica start to scream as a large cat leaps out of the underbrush and starts dragging her away. Shalelu looses an arrow, but misses due to not wanting to hit the fortune teller.

Milah Ashkenazi
"Hold on, Aurica!" Milah rushes toward the large cat, hoping to bring it down quickly...
Move action: As indicated on map
Standard action: Attack cat
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18)): 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 3, 4) + 7 = 17
Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Milah attacks the red and black cat, but even with Aurica underneath, the cat is still too fast for the duelist, batting the needle thin blade aside with its large paw.
Zarque
The destructive blast doesn't deplete spell pool. That only happens when I "boost" it to a more powerful version, 2d4 in this case.
Zarque tosses another little glob of gold, this time at the cat, though with a bit of sadness cause Zarque really likes cats, her favorite of all furry creatures.
Magic: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 6, 5) + 9 = 23
Ranged touch: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2, 3) + 5 = 11
dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 4
The golden blob bursts into a bunch of golden strands in the area around the cat.

[spoiler=Shalelu Stuff]
Bow Shots: 3d6 + 11 - 4 ⇒ (3, 2, 1) + 11 - 4 = 133d6 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (1, 4, 2) + 6 - 4 = 9
As your group attempts to stop the large cat from taking Aurica away, with Shalelu also rolling back and firing her bow, it seems that the cat is too fast for each of you, dodging all the attacks tossed against it. It seems to almost grin as it begins dragging Aurica away.
Initiative Round 4
Big Cat- 17 - Grappling Aurica
Milah- 16 -
Zarque- 15 -
Shalelu- 14 -
Moa'taar- 9 -
Those of you in melee range may make an AoO if you wish before taking your next turn, otherwise, you guys are up.
Zarque
Zarque tosses another blast of gold, but instead of going for the cat, she shoots for the tunnel the cat is headed for to slow it down with the strands (by making the square difficult terrain).

Milah emits a low growl, frustrated that her rapier can't seem to find its target. Nevertheless, she tries again, moving forward and thrusting once more.
Move action: As indicated on map
Standard action: Attack cat
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18)): 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (6, 4, 2) + 7 = 19

Milah chases the cat as it drags off Aurica, thrusting and pressing her attack, not giving up the fight for her friend. A couple of small nicks in the animal's fur and the low growl from it tell you that it is getting tired. Zarque's magic turns a small part of the clearing into a splattering of gold. While Shalelu continues to pepper trees with arrows. At the same time, Milah notices out of the corner of her eye a goblin with fire in its hand coming out of the tunnels to the South.

Moa'Taar Ammo: 1d12 ⇒ 2
You guys are up and as a reminder, since you are now back in the tunnels:
Bipedal Medium creatures can navigate them by stooping over and hunkering down, effectively squeezing to move, and thus taking a –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC; such characters must spend 2 squares of movement for each square traveled.
Milah Ashkenazi
"There's a goblin heading this way..." Milah tries to keep her voice calm as she tries to divide her attention between the cat and goblin, then gives up and maneuvers around the cat to keep both in front of her...

Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Milah dances with the cat again, attempting to put herself in a position to watch the creature and the new goblin that appeared out of the briars. As she does so, an arrow from Shalelu pierces its side, causing it to let out a howl of pain. The goblin is surprised by Zarque's golden bolt, but not enough to not be able to move out of the way. The energy strikes a tangle of brush and turns it into gold temporarily. The goblin yells something in a stern voice at the large cat.
Initiative Round 6

MilahBot Rapier: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 6, 2) + 7 = 171d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
The cat swipes at Milah, but her feline reflexes are much faster as she impaled the cat. Whatever fight it had left is taken away when Zarque's golden bolt hits it in the face, creating a pile of cat, Aurica and gold. Milah doesn't have much time to react as the shrubs around her come to life in an attempt to restrain her. Shalelu moves towards the pile as quick as she can.

I apologize; been a crazy couple of weeks, and this totally fell by the wayside.
I'm back (as much as I ever was, anyway)
Milah, seeing the cat falter, rushes at the goblin...and past it, hemming it in.
Full-round action: Double move, as indicated on map

Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 71d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Milah rushes towards the goblin who lashes out with a tongue of flame that she easily deflects with her own blade, stabbing the goblin in the arm. A bolt from Moa'taar flies past and embeds itself in one of the bushes, causing the goblin to shriek. It shrieks even more as Zarque's magic envelops his pet with golden strands. He lashes out with his blade again, attempting to burn Milah with his fiery weapon. This causes Shalelu to miss her shot as well.

Milah's rapier moves and flashes as it spars with the goblin who is surprisingly adept at using the flaming sword in his hands. Milah can tell that the goblin is getting tired though.
Moa'taar scans for a shot, any shot that will keep the goblin from getting away should it choose to run. Zarque has no such compunction to wait for a clear shot and blasts the goblin with golden magic. This causes him to back away from Milah and run into the brambles, the plants and thorns seeming to move aside for him. As he does so, Moa'taar fires another bolt that just barely misses the goblin as he disappears into the brambles. The plants that were entangling the cat and Aurica slip away and Shalelu moves to check on both. "I can take your friend back to Sandpoint, but I don't think the cat will make it. We should end its suffering."

No objections then?
Moa'taar cuts the cat's throat and lets it finish bleeding out as Shalelu begins to assemble a litter of sorts to attempt to carry Aurica back to Sandpoint. "I will see you when you return, but be careful. That goblin is still out there and he may have a grudge with us killing his pet." The elven women nods and then continues her work.
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Double checking to see if we are still here. I am aware of the holidays and Moa'taar's difficulties, but I wanted to make sure.
Milah Ashkenazi
I'm still here, but holidays, travel, etc.
Milah nods at the ranger. "Please be careful along the way; we'll do what we can here." Realizing that she cannot easily follow the goblin through the underbrush, she looks to the others. "If we don't try to follow it, we're likely to have to deal with a small horde shortly. I suggest we try to track it down - walking along the paths, though, rather than trying to make our way through the brambles."
DM ShadowBloodmoon
Shalelu nods and says, "I'll see you back in Sandpoint. " She then starts making her way through the underbrush with Aurica on a makeshift litter. For the time being, you are left alone, but the sounds of brush being moved or the sudden squawk of a bird makes you a bit jumpy. Knowing that fire wielding goblin is out there with gods know how many more doesn't help.
