Lilyroot |

"Sorry in advance!" Lilyroot yells, moves closer to the last goblin, and throws another bomb!
Attack: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 5, 1) + 3 = 11 vs touch ac
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 (and 3 splash to those nearby)

Maerra Solrinslag |

"Sorry in advance!" Lilyroot yells, moves closer to the last goblin, and throws another bomb!
[dice=Attack]3d6+3 vs touch ac
[dice=damage]1d6+2 (and 3 splash to those nearby)
Against a small creature with a dex bonus that's going to be a miss. You might want to roll 1d8 to see which way it scatters, though assuming you moved to within 1 range increment it will only miss by one square. Also your bombs are a limited resource so you roll 1d6 I think to see whether you've used some of them up.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Aurica casts her spell, making everything seem to fall into place as necessary, though unfortunately Lilyroot's throw is marred by her unwillingness to hit the cat creature fighting with the goblin she was aiming at. Perhaps it was better that way. The goblin takes advantage of the momentary distraction and attempts to get himself a cat's paw trophy.
Sorush moves into the crowd and then suddenly finds himself standing alone in the market, watching a scene of combat with small creatures. Goblins... A small explosion near the well catches his eye.

AoO (Parry): 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1, 2) + 5 = 12
Loss (Panache): 1d6 ⇒ 5 (7/7 remaining)
Defense: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 5, 6) + 9 = 23
Milah's blade is slow, but her reactions aren't as she dodges out of the way of the goblin's blow. Her own blade flashes, targeting the creature's midsection.
Standard action: Attack goblin
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18): 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 3, 6) + 5 = 18
Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Maerra Solrinslag |

Assuming that takes out the last goblin we've seen.
Maerra charges up. "Too slow!" she exclaims. "Ahh! At least I got one. Good skewering there, cat-woman."
She looks down the well. "Don't know that I'd trust water out of that shaft now. D'you see anything we could use to cover it up?"

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Milah skewers the last goblin, its dying words covered by the gurgling of green blood from its mouth.
Maerra spots a turned over table nearby that could be lifted onto the well to cover it up.
The sounds of battle continue a bit away from the town square. You hear shouts of panic and numerous calls for guards. The sun has set and the evening sky is now lit by the reds and golds of flames coming from fires being lit around Sandpoint.
Every so often you see another of the goblins running through the streets, chasing someone or guards chasing it.
For the moment you are alone in the immediate area of the town square..

Zev Tenyr |

With the momentary cessation of hostilities, Zev stands and walks over to the wagon, pulling his arrow from where it had become embedded.
"Not hurt." he says to Aurica, then to Lilyroot, "I like your boom-booms."
Then his head swivels at the sounds of battle from the town-square and without another word runs in that direction.

Maerra Solrinslag |

Maerra heaves the overturned table over to the well. "Maerra Solrinslag. Call me Maerra. Reckon we should follow that odd human before he gets himself mobbed by goblins and kicks the bucket?"

Aurica Movici |

"Maerra Solrinslag. Call me Maerra. Reckon we should follow that odd human before he gets himself mobbed by goblins and kicks the bucket?"
"Yes--we'd better not waste any time."
"Slightly," Lily admits to Aurica. She lifts some of her apron, revealing the sap coming out of the small knife wound.
"Stick close to me and my magic will keep you going a little longer. We'll get you a proper fix for that when we have some more time."

Lilyroot |

"Not hurt." he says to Aurica, then to Lilyroot, "I like your boom-booms."
Lilyroot looks down, "I didn't think they were that impressive... oh well, guess I did a good job growing this time around!"
"Stick close to me and my magic will keep you going a little longer. We'll get you a proper fix for that when we have some more time."
"Oh, it's just a scratch, I suffer worse from my own experiments all the time, but I appreciate your aid!" she thanks.

Milah Ashkenazi |

Milah nods in acknowledgement of the dwarf's compliment, then her head swivels quickly as she stares, mouth agape, at the human's strange comment. She recovers just as fast, thinking, I must have misheard, surely...
To the tiefling she says, "No injuries here.", then readies herself to follow the odd human to...wherever he's running off to.

Sorush Bale |

Sorush finally pushes his way through the crowd. He is stunned momentarily by the scene of violence before him. He says to the group before him, still swaying slightly "I take it there be no more parties?" taking in their dumbfounded stares, he sighs, and continues "Well, we better go save that poor chap, before more of these... 'goblin' fellows get to im."

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

No sooner Zev goes running off and the rest of you follow, you see a wagon explode into flames and several more of the goblins carrying torches and dancing around the flames, one of them seems to be... is that... singing?...
I moved you guys around a bit based on description, you have 1 round worth of actions for preparation, then roll Initiative and your first round actions please.

Lilyroot |

Lilyroot, not wanting to be caught too far from the action again, advances to next to Zev for preparation,
Initiative: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 5, 4) + 7 = 20
Then rushes forward closer (20' move) and hucks a bomb at the middle of the goblins!
bomb aim at center goblin: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 6, 5) + 4 = 20
Damage if direct hit: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Scatter if miss: 1d8 ⇒ 5
ammo check: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Maerra Solrinslag |

Glancing at the swaying half-orc and the human archer, Maerra moves up between them and the goblins, axe at the ready.
Initiative: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 5, 6) + 2 = 17
Double move. I'm assuming I can't do that in the one round of preparation - if I can let me know and I'll follow it up with a move and attack.

Aurica Movici |

Aurica moves closer to the action and then casts her spell again.
1 round of preparation = move action to get closer + standard action to cast Greater Serendipity again.
Initiative: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 2, 1) + 3 = 11
As one of her arms waves across the front of her body, Aurica seems to pull a card formed from red light out of thin air, and then she throws it at a goblin.
first round in initiative = move action spent to maintain Serendipity, standard action spent to cast Destructive Blast at the closest goblin. If someone else gets the goblin first, one of the other goblins would have to move closer for Aurica to target them. The range of the Destructive Blast is only 25 feet right now.
Destructive Blast attack roll vs touch AC: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 6, 2) + 3 = 14
Destructive Blast damage roll: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11 bludgeoning damage

Just need Milah and Sorush to chime in... @Maerra, your double move only takes one round, so your first round action can be to move and attack.. @All- part of the reason I have you post first round actions is to somewhat simulate the chaos of combat...

Milah Ashkenazi |

Initiative: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 4 = 9
Milah advances on the new band of goblins, rapier drawn.
Preparation round:
Full-round action: Double move, as indicated on map
Her rapier flashing, she attacks the closest of them!
Standard action: Attack goblin
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18): 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 4, 1) + 5 = 16

Maerra Solrinslag |

Maerra steps forward to deliver an overhand blow with her waraxe...
Maerra attack, +1 luck, crit natural 18: 3d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4, 2) + 6 + 1 = 19

extra damage on crit: 2d10 + 10 ⇒ (6, 5) + 10 = 21
... and hits the goblin hard enough that they won't be getting up again. Not now, maybe not ever with the blood loss from Milah's rapier.

Sorush Bale |

initiative: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4, 6) + 2 = 13
Sorush hustles across to where the fire and goblins and loud noises are.
takes a double move to the other sid of things and tries to position for a color spray next round.

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Lily, now fully committed to the fight against these foul creatures, tosses another explosive with pinpoint accuracy into the middle of them, sending the diving for cover. Unfortunately for one of them, he dives right into Maerra's axe, splitting himself in half, his purloined red scarf slowly falling to the ground around his twitching body. His companion, this one sporting a shiny gold earring and black soot from being blasted by Lily's bomb, attempts to get past his fear of the larger folk and attacks Maerra for slaying his brother.
Another goblin circles around the wagon and attacks Milah from the side.
The goblin with the screeching some escaping from its mouth continues the cacophony and without missing a beat, snaps a whip at Milah as she gets closer. She is too fast for the whip and it never touches her.
Milah can't fail this roll... Zev, I moved you as per your description to get a shot at the Singer, same for you Sorush. Aurica, I have you just in range of the goblin attacking Maerra.
A flash of red light and the goblin that was rushing to avenge his fallen brother is knocked backwards, right into Milah's blade. A look of surprise crosses its face as it slides off and slumps onto the other body.
Splash v. Reflex 13: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 6, 6) + 2 = 18

Maerra Solrinslag |

The goblin hanging back to the south is the next to take the brunt of Maerra's ire. She charges at it, swinging her axe low.
Maerra defence: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 2, 4) + 7 = 15
Maerra charge attack, crit natural 18: 3d6 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 2, 6) + 6 + 2 = 19
damage: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Combat vs. goblins feels much safer with 3d6 rather than 1d20.

Lilyroot |

Lilyroot, not wanting to catch anyone else in a bomb and not seeing it as needed, Charges forward to *just* outside the goblin's reach, and tries to wang it with her mace.
Attack: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4, 1) + 4 = 11 (+2 attack + 2 charge)
Though lashing out with her extended arms produces nothing but a divot in the ground.

Milah Ashkenazi |

Milah counters the goblin's thrust with a parry and thrust of her own.
Opportune Parry: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5) + 6 = 17
Panache (Loss): 1d6 ⇒ 2 (Still at 7/7)
Immediate action: Riposte
Attack (Rapier (threaten on 14-18): 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4) + 6 = 16
Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Use black powder bravado trait for a reroll...
Riposte (Rapier (threaten on 14-18): 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6) + 6 = 21
Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Critical Confirm (Rapier): 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6) + 6 = 15
Critical Damage (Rapier): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Lily's long reach isn't enough to hit the poor goblin, but it doesn't matter as Milah's sharp blade finds its mark. While not enough to kill the thing, it certainly causes it to pause for a moment.
Maerra, having been done with the goblin's singing a while ago, silences the creature, her axe cutting a gash in her belly. The singing quickly turns to squeals of pain.
The remaining goblin decides this is the best time to beat feet and does so, running towards the town gate...
Lily would get an AoO here... otherwise, the rest of the party is up!

Maerra Solrinslag |

Maerra wipes her axe on the goblin's rags. "Let it run. There'll always be more gobbos, we want the freakin' cowards to be the ones who see another day. All of y' alright there?"

Milah Ashkenazi |

Milah nods. "I wasn't injured, despite their best efforts." She, too, cleans her blade on one of the corpses and sheathes it, then begins searching the bodies in the hopes of finding some clue as to why they were attacking.
Perception: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5) + 6 = 17

Aurica Movici |

Aurica lowers her hands, which had been ready to begin casting another spell. "Yes, I'm fine. Was that the last of them? We'd better have a look around, to be sure."

Maerra Solrinslag |

"Fair point, fortune-teller." Maerra heads over to the stage for a better vantage point and tries to see if there are any more goblins coming this way.
perception: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 6, 4) + 9 = 21

Sorush Bale |

Sorush gesticulates wildly, reigning in the arcane energies he had been drawing forth. He struggles a bit with this, his obvious insobriety clearly a factor. Having finished his impromptu light show, he calls out to th group: "I'm all good over here, though goin looking seems like a decent plan to me."

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Though the sounds of battle are farther off, you can still hear them in the streets. Though the festival grounds have bodies of either goblins or some not so fortunate local townsfolk, the place is relatively deserted.
About this time, a familiar face runs towards you. At first you have trouble placing him, with his well kempt dark beard and mustache, blue robes and a teal and blue butterfly hanging on a small chain in his left hand, but his even and clear voice seals it for you. It is Father Zantus, the head priest from the newly minted church. You heard him at the festival's commencement.
"I.. I don't know who all of you are, but your help is greatly appreciated.", he says, clearly out of breath. "I am Abstalar Zantus, keeper of the wisdom of Desna and the Sandpoint Cathedral. Any further assistance you could provide would be... greatly appreciated."
A cry of pain from one of the locals unfortunate enough to have not gotten out of the way of the goblins gets the man's attention. "If you'll excuse me, you appear to be able to handle yourselves well. I must attend to the others. Perhaps we'll speak again later." He doesn't wait for an answer and heads towards the source of the cry.
All of sudden you hear a loud barking sound and then a yell for help. It seems to be coming from the direction of Sandpoint's northeastern gate.
All of your used limited items go down 1 die type at this time.

Zev Tenyr |

Zev was just about to release an arrow at the fleeing goblin when Maerra's suggestiion pierces the special focused state he was in. Slowly he eased his hand back towards his bow, finally taking the arrow off of the string and holding it, "Zev is ok." he says simply, "Gobs are bad." he adds, looking about at the chaos the little monsters had left.
When Abstalar runs up , Zev bows his head respectfully, remembering his Ma's admonition to treat holy men with respect. "I am Zev." he says to the Desnite, but then the barking erupts from the north east.
"Dogs? and Goblins?" he asks, but doesn't wait for an answer, he is already off running in that direction.

Milah Ashkenazi |

Milah calls out to anyone listening, "The singing one is still alive, but barely. It might be worthwhile to bind it, but I have no rope." That done, she grabs the whip - not to use, but also not wanting it to be used on anyone else - and begins rushing after the one who called himself Zev.

Sorush Bale |

Sorush adds "I got rope, but I don't tie knots all that good. I think savin this 'Zev' guy again is a bit more important." he then turns and joins Milah in chasing after him.

Maerra Solrinslag |

"All hands to the northeast, eh?" Maerra reaches to the pack where she keeps her rope, but seeing all the tallfolk dashing off, she decides against any delay and follows after.

Aurica Movici |

Aurica begins to hurry after the others. "Father Zantus! We've rendered that one unconscious, but I don't know how long it will stay that way. Keep a watchful eye!"

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

You quickly make your way out of the town square, past the cathedral, down Church Street, past the White Deer Inn, with its two well carved deer standing guard over the entrance. As you get near Northgate, you see a goblin riding what appears to be hairless dog use its long handled blade to cut down the dog that was barking. It falls without so much as a whimper. You can see its owner cowering behind some barrels near the gate and a few more goblins start coming out from hiding, cheering with their weapons in the air and approaching the man...
Map Updated! You get a surprise round as the goblins are momentarily distracted by their next victim... Roll Initiative and give me Surprise round actions..

Aurica Movici |

A surprise round gets you a single standard or move action, right? (Not a full round?)
Initiative: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 6, 3) + 3 = 13
Surprise round -- standard action: start Greater Serendipity again (moon aura always persists without any actions).
As they all draw near to this new group of goblins, Aurica winces as the dog whimpers. She wastes no time before calling on her magic for the luck of fate to guide Aurica and her allies and hinder their foes.

Maerra Solrinslag |

initiative: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 1, 3) + 2 = 9
Maerra advances to the edge of the Moon aura's pale glow and yells "That's all the easy meat you're getting today s$#@eaters, run or die!"

Milah Ashkenazi |

Initiative: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 4, 1) + 4 = 15
Milah charges the mounted goblin and thrusts at it with her rapier!

DM ShadowBloodmoon |

Yep, Move or Standard in the Surprise Round, barring special feats, etc...
Everyone quickly moves into position, Aurica casting her blessing, the glow never leaving her side. Milah takes full advantage of this, quickly closing the distance to the mounted goblin. His victory is quickly squashed as her blade finds its mark in the thing's back. He squeals and wheels around to face her...
