heading out to a party, but WARNING WARNING, this is the meat of this dungeon, the hardest stuff, and the next book is stupid hard, I was rereading it on my trip. the Bref interlude should be a good ramp up to the difficulty.

That fight that almost wiped you is a cakewalk by comparison. So be careful as you venture down, there are extra traps, extra baddies and baddies with added templates because there are 6 of you instead of 4, and you obviously are not 15 pt buys.

sorry aaron, while i do monkey around with the encounters a bit, adding some levels to some, or templates, I do not change the tactics written…and this is one of those cases where using Shatter is in the book as the first thing used after MirrorImage, with the ray being third, I did swap those.

Hmmm ... that would be a bit disappointing. IF I do fall though, then I will see what everyone thinks will work, or just roll a random race and class and go from there.

However I am not surprised, I have died once already. Aéron was built for the idea, not so much actual gameplay. But sometimes you just build a character in your head and you really want to play them ... like the Goblin I made for you :P

no no, you almost died once, the inspire courage had really run out, but you are a barbarian you should stabilize, a crit will kill you obviously and there is one thing that could happen if things go bad that will do it, once you are down she will move on, this is not a keep murdering until people reroll character

Mini, how do you feel about Tarinhil learning discoveries that were first done by other races? There's a goblin one that's pretty nifty:

Rag Doll Mutagen (Su): When the alchemist imbibes a mutagen, his body and bones become rubbery and easy to contort. The alchemist gains a bonus equal to his class level on Escape Artist checks, can squeeze through places as if he were one size category smaller, and can make a Reflex save (DC equal to 15 + 1 for every 10 feet fallen) to take half damage from falling. At 10th level, all falling damage is considered nonlethal damage, and the alchemist can squeeze through places as if he were two size categories smaller than his size while under the effects of this mutagen.

Beyond that, I'm looking at taking one of: Explosive Bomb* (sadly, doesn't stack with tanglefoot), Feral Mutagen, Spontaneous Healing and Explosive Missile.

Also, since you're running this as Society, we get mid-hit-die per level, right? (eg - 5 for my d8)?

I am fine with it but there has to be a reason so to learn the rag doll you would need to encounter a goblin alchemist a distinct possibility coming up, so you could hold the slot open if you wanted

Does Draken get to level up? I was wondering if I could multiclass into witch or cleric, I would be willing to wait, unless you want me to stay in adept still.
