The elf just sneers at you, piercing you with his stern gaze. "Get rid of them. Permanently. Then go find the others."

Looks like the gig is up, although you are now realizing he knew who you were, so the bluff just wasn't effective on him like it was the others. In any case, you turn to see all three of the men have put on scary looking masks and pulled out large war razors.

A dull roar fills the room as Faywen begins pulling water into a swirling mass around her, before it coalesces into a huge blast of water that crashes into one of the cultists menacing Cordwin. Purple

Corwin starts casting, drawing AoO from both purple and yellow.

Amazingly, the bard manages to dodge all three swipes!

Unfortunately, the target of the spell does not succumb to the effort.

Faywen moves fast, blasting over Cordwin to strike purple with a very forceful blast, knocking him against the wall and crushing many of his bones in the process. The man falls dead.

Aquilo flies up to the rookery to take a look. A timber cabinet sits against the northern wall here, its doors made of iron mesh. Inside perch
three strangely silent ravens. A table nearby holds a tall narrow bucket of bird feed, a quill, and a vial of ink, as well as several thin parchments weighted down by a polished rock.

As soon as the ravens see the predatory bird, they start cawing loudly.

Those on the ground hear quite the commotion as ravens in the rookery start shrieking in panic. At least one of the noisy machines inside seems to turn off.

I'd take that one last, but it sticks around longer. What needs killin'?" He says, his voice deeper than normal. He begins picking at the seal on one of the other vials.

If I was able to drop orange on my own, I'm left with a move action, which I'd take to move on up the steps to find the others. If the steps are rough terrain, then I'd use my travel domain ability to skate on up them. I figure the rest of the party could handle the last door guard at that point.

This should be fun. You are a big group, but here is a battle to help even the odds! I will follow initiative as best I can.

René and Druamin move in, and watches as the others go about business.

The sounds of the elf casting continue from the office. Green moves to attack Faywen, but is concerned he is outnumbered as his copy blinks out of existence. Only 1 round... not a great benefit!

Green razor vs Faywen: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

It is an expert thrust, but Faywen's defense is better, and she manages to avoid the blade.

The rest of the machinery in the place turns off and that noise starts to die down, as men are now scrambling all over the place.

Trox steps in, with two men ready and waiting. 2 readied attacks, and 2 AoOs. They all just bounce off the well-armored fighter.

Orange readied Attack, flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 2 = 15
Orange AoO, flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 2 = 19

Reynard bulks up some more, clearly looking like he might just push the sawmill into the river.

Erond severly wounds Orange, but does not take him out of the fight. That honor goes to Skarn, who doesn't even stop as he pushes past and up the stairs - where he finds more of these strange, masked cultists!

Cyan attacks him as he appears up the stairs. But it is a clumsy effort, and Skarn almost laughs.

Meanwhile, up stairs, Faywen destroys another of the good, giving her and Cordwin a brief opening to regroup.

Without pause, Druamin steps through the door to enter the mill and immediately notices an armed cultist just inside. He swings his axe at the man. The man deftly dodges the blade and Druamin's axe takes a big chunk out of the wall.

Meanwhile, men seem to be racing up and down stairs to get at you.
