Yer a champ for hanging in there Xai. I don't know much about random dice generators, but I've come to the superstition that I roll better when there are more people are on the website.

I've gone through such a rollercoaster of emotions with this character thanks to that dice roller. It's sad, because even knowing that sometimes the dice just don't love you, my mental image of Xai had her being... y'know, competent. This has been tough.

But I'm gonna try and use it, I think.

Besides, if it keeps up, I could always take the rest of my levels as a spellcaster or something instead. :p

Is part of the reason I like Swashbucklers so much. Cant do much about crit fumbles, but at level seven with a plus SEVENTEEN to attack its kinda hard to miss otherwise.

Xai if you die you're welcome to be a spellcaster. I am unimpressed thus far. And really miss being a badass melee character

If you want I could kill you in some glorious, spectacular fashion and you could get a reset :P but I do encourage that you try and stick with it and maybe the bad RNG juju will ware off. Still, I see no reason why a player should have to stick with a character they don't like through an entire campaign.

I for one, am now a solid believer in archery now. Hunters are pretty solid.

It's not that there is anything wrong with the build. It's the dang dice. Tres unfortunate. I had that happen one time when I was rolling with a ranger in pfs.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Xai mechanically; she's just cursed with the foulest luck in the universe. :D I'm going to stick with her for now, because, like Xai, I like to think karma will balance itself eventually and she'll start to come into her own. I actually like the character a lot, I just don't like that the dice have dictated that she sucks so bad at what she's supposed to be good at.

As far as the spellcaster thing goes, I was talking to do that in-character, actually, rather than reset with a whole new PC, even though Xai's stats are far, far from optimized for such a thing. In any case, I doubt that'll happen.
