'A couple of spoiled lordlings, I may as well help Dimitri.' Einar turns to assist Dimitri, ignoring the children until Mister Whiskers asks the boy his connection with the girl.
'Somethings up, If Mister Whiskers is asking it means the kid isn't who he says he is.' Einar quickly moves, hammer in hand, and places himself between the 'boy' and the frozen monster, giving the boy a cold stare. 'can't have a disguised enemy freeing that monster. "Я буду с тобой в мгновение ока Димитрий, видимо, этот мальчик не тот, кто говорит, что он."
"M-moya M-mat' - T-tsarina A-aleksandra." The girl stutters, pale and shaking. "A-ty sobirayesh'sya ye-s"yest' nas, kak u m-monstrov?"
M-my M-mother is the T-tsarina Alexandra. A-are you g-going to e-eat us like m-monsters do?
Hearing his sister being frightened, Alexei squeezes her hand in reassurance. "Ne volnuysya. YA ne pozvolyu im yest' nas. Vse, chto nuzhno."
Don't worry. I won't let them eat us. Whatever it takes.
Then he turns to glare Mr Whiskers. "Kakuyu chast' brata ty ne ponimal? I teper' ty ispugalsya moyey sestry." He then balls his fists.
Which part of her brother do you not understand? And now you've scared my sister.
The entire party thinks that Alexei is Anatasia's brother!
'Foolish, very foolish.' Einar steps forward, snarling at the boy. "Сестра или нет, вы следите за своим тоном, это те, кто спас вас от монстров. И тот, кто позади нас, нуждается лишь в небольшой трещине в этом льду. Таким образом, вы будете следить за своим тоном и не совершать каких-либо неожиданных ходов, иначе я вас покончу. Einar turns to Crummock and Mister Whiskers, "Wouldn't he be actually half brother if Rasputin is the girls father. We should take them both back to the hut for protection."

"Эйнар! Будьте любезны!" Mr. Whiskers snaps. Then in Skald he says "You are right to be wary, but frightening the children is likely to make things even more difficult."
Looking towards the boy, he admonishes him "Мы встретили несколько монстров, которые маскируют себя как людей, и трудно доверять тому, кто начинает пытаться ввести кого-то в заблуждение."
Pausing a moment, he then says "Я намереваюсь помочь, но вы скрываете все, что усложняет ситуацию."
We have met a few monsters that disguise themselves as people, and it is hard to trust someone who starts off trying to mislead someone.
I intend to help, but you hiding things makes it more difficult.
The prisoners Einar and Dimitri cut down gesture weakly at Einar's water skin.
He then realises why the prisoners
have silently screaming. They've screamed themsleves hoarse from the pain.
The boy backs off from Einar for a moment, then gathers up his spunk and blurts out, "Otkuda my znayem, chto vy ne yeshche odna gruppa monstrov, kotoryye nas ub'yut?"
How do we know you aren't another bunch of monsters who would kill us?
Then he realises what he just said, in a placating tone, "Poslushay, my ne khotim nepriyatnostey. My prosto khotim blagopoluchno vybrat'sya otsyuda."
Look, we don't want trouble. We just want to get out of here safely.
'Well at least the boy has spunk.' Hearing the boys comment, Einar looks up from helping Dimitri lower his friends. "Да, потому что это то, что делают монстры, помогают облегчить боль замученных душ. У вас есть чему поучиться у мальчика."
As they lower the men to the ground, Einar pulls his ceramic jar out of the haversack, not speaking to it, he gives each man a swig of cool fresh water. Asking "Can we do something about the pain these men are in?" He then turns to Dimitri and asks, "Как только мы получим этих людей, они могут стрелять?"
"once we get these men well can they shoot?"
”Chto znachit vvesti vas v zabluzhdeniye? YA nikogda ne vvodil tebya v zabluzhdeniye.” The boy retorts.
What do you mean mislead you? I’ve never misled you.
Crummock and Mr Whiskers think that the boy has misled them before.
"Vy mogli by otpravit' ikh v svoyu sobstvennuyu peshcheru, chtoby vy mogli ikh s"yest'?" He answers Einar, but looks a little more uncertain.
You could be carting them off to your own private cave so you could eat them?
Then the girl speaks up, stuttering in a timid voice, "-I D-ne khochu, chtoby ya byl zdes', - Aleksey. - Pozhaluysta, g-get m-me o-out o-h-here."
I-I D-don’t w-want t-to be h-here – Alexei – p-please g-get m-me o-out o-of h-here.
The boy holds the girl's hand, careful to interpose himself between the party and his sister and tries to move past the party.
” YA mog by ... no ya ne vrach, i ya deystvitel'no ne znayu, kakuyu dozirovku ispol'zovat',” Dimitiri takes out the bottle labelled Morphine and the syringes out of his pack rather uncertainly.
I could – but I’m not a doctor and I don’t really know what dosage to use
Looking worriedly at the victims and then the children, he says "Можешь ли ты быть храбрым, Анастасия? Мы сопроводим вас к дому вашей бабушки, но эти люди также нуждаются в нашей помощи!"
"M-my G-grand mothers house? B-no moya G-babushka l-zhivet i-v I-Ivangrod F-kreposti. A-yest' Y-vy s-govorya o-odin iz c-kottedzhey o-on t-o-outskirts?" Anastasia looks at Mr Whiskers, puzzled. "YA-ya prosto khochu, chtoby t-b-byl o-out o-h-zdes'." Anastasia sticks by Mr Whiskers - to the annoyance of her glowering brother.
M-my G-grand mothers house? B-but my G-grandmother l-lives i-in the I-Ivangrod F-fortress. A-are Y-you s-saying o-one of the c-cottages o-on t-the o-outskirts?
I-I j-just w-want to be o-out o-of h-here.
Crummock frowns, as he considers Dimitri's friends.
"Я могу восстановить их умы, и их жизненная сила, но перерождение того, что потеряно, в настоящее время не в моих силах."
Crummock looks with satisfaction at the frozen creature.
"I don't like leaving it here..."
He then turns to Dimitri.

Crummock then chips down the ice over the creature's "brain" , and waits for Dimitri to Coup-de-grace it with his weapon.
Crummock purses his lips.
"I don't like bein' lied to. You are *not* Alexei - we destroyed his unquiet spirit earlier. I be not knowin' what kind of fiend ye are, but I will not be taken for a fool! Show your true self!"
He then casts Dispel Magic on 'Alexei'.
As Crummock hits Alexei with a dispel magic, in the place of Alexei is a sleek, three-headed dragon rearing up on its hind legs, wings spread and flames licking out from behind three sets of fangs. Anastasia faints dead on the sight of the transformation, and the dragon catches her with its paws.
It then turns onto the party, shaking its heads regretfully. ”I never wanted for this to happen. All I wanted was to keep HER safe and her sanity intact. She lost her entire family, damnit!” It snarls at the party. ”What was a little harmless deception? Why did YOU have to push things?”
Greta breaks the ice and Crummock touches the Kyton.
The Interlocutor Kyton resists the harm spell. Geist does not manage to bite it while Dimitri shoots a single bullet at it. It looks injured.
As they get ready to kill the creature, Einar casts mirror image, then drawing the sword of planes. As Greta smashes the ice he rages swinging the sword at the creature.
Einar takes down the kryton with one overhand swing of his sword.
Looking somewhat uncomfortable with Anastasia's question, he tells her "Я думаю, что это твоя другая бабушка, но у нее есть хижина."
In Skald he tells the party "I am going to take the two kids over near the entrance. You better be able to kill it! I don't want these two injured."
Looking to Anastasia and Alexei, he then says "Давайте двигаться около входа, чтобы никто из вас не пострадал. Oни" gesturing to Einar and the rest "Собираются попытаться убить этого злого монстра."
are going to try and kill that evil monster.
Once again, Mr. Whiskers readies a Greater Dispel to counterspell if the Kyton attempts any spell or spell-like abilities.
It was a dragon?!?!?!
Nervously looking back and forth between the dragon that suddenly appeared and Crummock, Mr. Whiskers calls out "Можем ли мы, пожалуйста, выйти из лагеря с ранеными, прежде чем разрешить это?"
Out in the open in an enemy camp is not a good place for a fight! Hopefully the dragon and Crummock will both realize this.
Mr Whiskers recognises the creature as a Gorynych. They're fond of their treasure hoards and young maidens.
The dragon in question doesn't look like it wants to pick a fight. It looks like it wants to boogie! Mr Whiskers can see it glancing at the tree outside D7
'A dragon? I thought magic wasn't here, glad I can still cast fly.' Einar, sheathes the sword, then he and his multiple images follows Crummock. Addressing the dragon directly. "You've seen what we can do, the hammer freezes, we kill the trapped creature at our leisure. In your case I think we would leave you for Rasputin, he would want to speak to you about taking his daughter."
Einar pauses hoping to give the dragons something to think about.
The dragon gives a weak grin, ”I’m already screwed either way – either you’ll kill us both or use her for your nefarious purposes – or he’ll kill me for running away his daughter. I’ll take the latter. At least she might get out of this alive…”
Incredulously, Mr. Whiskers says "Nefarious purposes?" Shaking his head, he proclaims "I don't have any nefarious plans for her! I just wanted to help!"
”Come on - be serious – she’s Baba Yaga’s grandaughter – you’re taking her to Baba Yaga’s Dancing Hut. And we all know that Baba Yaga is bad news.” It looks nervously at the bell tower as if expecting an attack from there.
"I wouldn't force her to stay there." or anyplace else.
"Right now, it is the only place around here that may be safe. Where would you have her go? Sounds like there are lots of people on this world who would hunt her because of her mother!"
”Hawaii?” The dragon replies. ”I’ve heard it’s a nice isolated island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Sunny weather all year round. Coconuts… The problem is if I miscalculate, we could all end up in the middle of it.”
”Other then that – my next choice of destination would be Nirvana – but Alfa and I would probably get booted out in fairly short notice. I know I DON’T deserve to be there.”
"Can we maybe agree that the middle of this camp is not a good place for any of us to loiter for long? Maybe start walking towards the gate and hope we can get out without any guns, tanks or mortars?"
As he says this, Mr. Whiskers looks around to see if anything is taking notice of them. We still have four yeti unaccounted for, plus the thing that was feeding on the soldiers and at least a couple of other nasty surprises I'm sure. I wouldn't be surprised if her father turned up and tried to stop us.
This would have been so much easier if we had teleported out first, then had the discussion.
'Why are we talking to this piece of crap, what is he stalling for.' Einar turns and asks Dimitri, "Как вы думаете, мой друг, эта девушка безопаснее с вами, этими солдатами и нами или с этим злым драконом, которого интересует только ее девица?"
Einer draws the dragonbane spear, "The problem is there is no place safe here, if she is with Rasputin or with you. It is time for you to leave empty handed or die, the choice is yours."
"Devochka budet bezopasneye s nami togda, chto drakon, konechno." Dimitri replies.
The girl will be safer with us then that dragon, certainly.
"Yes, in the middle of camp is Not a good place to loiter. " The dragon agrees, as it makes a quick decision. "I would come along With You, on the condition I can bring Alfa there. I do not wish to leave him behind to face Rasputin's wrath. You can keep an eye on us as much as you like."
'Is he that stupid?'Shaking his head. "Did you not hear me say that she is not safe in your company? You are not going with us and we are taking the princess with us." Einar nears the dragon, spear in hand. "Дракон не хочет слушать, Димитрий, готов ли ты его снимать." Pointing to the air with his spear Einar finishes, in Russian so all understood the directions. " Пора тебе сейчас уйти, если ты попробуешь взять с собой девушку, мы тебя покончим."
"It is time for you to leave now, if you try to take the girl with you we will end you, goodbye."
”I’m sorry I couldn’t do any more for you, Anastasia. Farewell.” It lowers Anastasia gently to the ground then flies towards the tree, which runs towards it. When they both collide, reality seems to warp, then both of them are gone.
Mr Whiskers realizes it’s a limited wish – used as planeshift.
"Alfa?" Mr, whiskers asks. Did I miss something?
"Yes, let's get him and get out of here! I can do understand not wanting to leave someone behind."
Looking around, he then asks "Where is he?" Priorities. Where will let me find out who.
Just as he is saying this, the dragon disappears.
Quickly recovering, he says "Evidently the tree was a treant or something?" Moving over to Anastasia, he adds "Let's get these people out of here!"
'Well there, goes my new Dragon skin boots. I should probably fly after it to make sure it's really leave... what the blazes?' Einar places his spear in the haversack as he walks over and picks up the princess.
Looking at Mister Whiskers, "Your going to have to explain to me what just happened." Nodding to Dimitri and Greta, "Соберите раненых, давайте убираться отсюда."
"Greta, would you mind if I change you into a centaur? That should allow you to carry at least two of the soldiers safely."
Looking to Dimitri, he then asks "How about you?"
Greta doesn't mind being turned into a centaur. She insists, FEMALE centaur.
Dimitri on the other hand doesn't really like the idea of being changed into something else. It makes his skin crawl.
Mr. Whiskers just nods agreement at Greta's request.
To Dimitri, he says "Then you get to help Einar make sure they stay in place on someone else's back."
Looking to Crummock, he asks "Would it be a problem with Geist if you turned into a Centaur? Otherwise we can try it with just the three."
'Skin crawl.' Einar looks at Dimitri oddly, "These are your friends were rescuing right? Get over it, you can still shoot!"
"It is fine, I think we should be able to do it as is. Probably better to have another set of hands making sure none of the soldiers falls off!"
Dimitri reluctantly agrees after Einar chides him. Then Mr Whisker's magic whisks them back into the Hut.
As Einar carries Anastasia as Mr Whiskers teleports them back to the Hut, Anastasia stirs weakly in his arms, ” W-gde a-w-my? W-chto sluchilos'?
” Then she struggles in his arms frantically, ’ W-gde A-alexei?”
W-where’s a-are w-we? W-what happened?
W-where’s A-alexei?
The coffin man bows at Einar, ”Congratulations finding Baga Yaga’s grand daughter. Hello, grand niece,” He gives Anastasia a genial wave.
One of the prisoners Einar rescued asks him in a hoarse voice resignedly, ” Kuda vy nas vzyali? I chto my budem delat' seychas - vy spasli nas - no chto my budem delat' s nashey zhizn'yu, kak eto?”
Where have you taken us to? And what are we going to do now – you have rescued us – but what are we going to do with our lives, like this?
Einar glares briefly at the coffin man. 'How delicate should I be in my terminology with the princess? Setting the girl down, "I'm sorry princess, the thing pretending to be your brother was a dragon, you saw his true form thanks to Crummocks magic. His interests in you were not...entirely forthright. I think lying to you, pretending to be your brother was proof enough of that."
He makes a motion around the room, and speaks loud enough so all can here, "we are in the magical hut of Baba Yaga, she is mother to Rasputin and his prisoner. We are here to free her."
Einar nods toward his friends, Mister Whiskers and Crummock, "My friends magic is powerful, and in time they will be able to restore you to health. After that what you do will be of your own choosing."
He nods to Dimitri, "Your friend Dimitri may have some ideas, once we are finished. If you were inclined, to remain soldiers loyal to the princess, we could arm you as her 'royal guard.' I believe it would help her to have loyal people around her who care about her."
Anastasia backs away from the coffin man with fear, ”YA-ya ne znayu, eto c-polzuchest' h-zdes'.”

The coffin man grins amicably at Anastasia, ” Mne by khotelos' ostat'sya i poboltat', no, nu, u menya yest' srochnaya vstrecha. Moya milost' byla tol'ko do tekh por, poka v dom ne voydet krov' Baby Yagi. Teper', kogda eto budet sdelano, ya uydu,” then he disappears.
I’d love to stay and chat, but well, I’ve got a pressing appointment. My favour was only till the blood of Baba Yaga stepped into the house. Now that is done, I’ll be off.
” N-net! A-alexei h-imeyet b-n-nichego b-no k-kind t-to m-me. A-i t-w-wicked o-old m-man t-turn h-him i-in m-monster! A-i n-now I-I-t-zakhvatili h-zdes' i-v a-drugom h-adskom p-meste!” She pulls herself away from Einar, screaming.
N-no! A-alexei h-has b-been n-nothing b-but k-kind t-to m-me. A-and t-that w-wicked o-old m-man t-turned h-him i-into a m-monster! A-and n-now I-I’m t-trapped h-here i-in a-another h-hellish p-place!
