Heres how i want you to make you characters, and what i want you to do with them when your done.
Creation:1)Choose a trait. Pick a trait for your character from the Player's Guide and one more from the advanced players guide.
2)pick a race. all races found in the players guide are open to play. If you pick a human you MUST pick a nationality too.
3)Pick a class. All classes are available EXEPCT gunslinger, samurai, and ninja.
4)use a 15 point buy.
5)average starting gold
6)put your full stats and background on your character sheet, which should be on your alias profile page.
do this process twice so that you have two different characters. work with each other to make sure that you don't both take the same campaign trait, as only a trait can only be used once per character
after you create post a ready check on here with each one of your two characters and list the trait that you picked for them, then I will create the gameplay thread and we'll get started
NOTE:the player's guide tells you the name of the city you will be starting in, which is in the nation of Taldor.
so far i am taking Blood of Giants as a background for my viking. I plan to play viking and Cleric so you get the tank and whatever else if that's all okay

UPDATE: what i now want to see with your characters are the fact that they are residence or recant arrivals in the city of Heldren. What do you do in Heldren for a living/why have you traveled to Heldren. Be ready to answer this question when you post for the first time in the gameplay thread.

also the diplomacy check represents your character gathering rumors from the town, and doesn't HAVE to be rolled if you don't want to
