Vashti Amela
Vashti wordlessly hand little sparrow her dagger, honed to a razors edge from years of experience.
Careful, it is quite sharp little one.
@Muscles:I think it will get bigger given time. Most spells do not last long.
Percy Silvershaper
Percy proceeds to skin and butcher the Elk, taking special care to not damage it's hide any further.
Survival Take 10 for 14
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Cutting the key veins to drain the meat of blood, Sigrun packs a substantial amount of the venison in snow before wrapping it in her stowed fur cloak and hoisting the bundle.
Survival take 10 for 17
Assuming skinning takes more than 4 rounds so Fatigue is over
Percy Silvershaper
Percy does her best to clean everything off and helps Sigurn drain and pack the meat in snow. She then thoroughly cleans and neatly folds the hide for later processing.
Ok, we're ready. Let's get out of here.
Your Benevolent Dictator
@Maldrek: unless Eredhaias says something (or you figure out how to undo the magic), your weapon will stay shrunk for 6 days.
You walk on for a ways along the trail until you see something up ahead. As you get closer, you realize that it's a human-sized snowman standing in the middle of the trail before a frozen stream. A crude wooden sign leans against it and bears the words, "Trespassers Turn Back".
It's about 50ft in front of you.
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Coming to a halt, Sigrun studies the snowman from a distance looking for anything that might indicate a potential attack.
Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Eredhaias Malynneil
Before Moving On...
Ered just chuckles and shares the piece of information. "Just drop the weapon on the ground and then it should be fine by the time you pick it up. Solid surface and you're perfectly fine."
Moving On...
Ered looks around the snowman for anything out of the ordinary. Anything that could suggest a danger, a pit, or anything that suggests where the maker of the snowman might have gone.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Looking at the others, Sigrun draws a throwing axe and sends it tumbling end over end towards the snowman's head.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Percy Silvershaper
Percy laughs to see such fun. Good shot!
Percy Silvershaper
Seeing noone else take the initiative, Percy forges on past the snowman. She hands Vashti her dagger back as she passes.
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
"Thanks," Sigrun says, stepping forward to catch the retrieved axe as Vashti tosses it back. "It was the best way to make sure it was not alive"
Your Benevolent Dictator
Enemy Initiative: 2d20 ⇒ (14, 15) = 29
Party Initiative: 6d20 + 17 ⇒ (18, 4, 14, 20, 4, 10) + 17 = 87
As Vashti and Percy continue to advance, the snowman issues a scream of rage. (both of you take 7pts sonic damage and need a Fort Save DC 18 to avoid being stunned for 1rd)
@Maldrek: if you burn a mote, you can take a single action now.
At the same time, the river ice ripples as two human-size figures rise to the surface.
Round One
Your turns
Please note: everyone except Vashti/Percy is actually 50ft uptrail from the snowman. In other words, most of you are actually off the map.
Maldrek Kasidra
Maldrek blinks twice, then turns around. Right before the snowman tries to scream Maldrek swings his hammer, trying to silence it first.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12
If it's not dead he continues the attack; if it it he turns his attacks to the human size figures.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12

3/10 HP. Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Percy clasps her hands over her ears, but it's too late. The ear-shattering sound gets into her head and resonates inside her skull until she's sure the pressure will kill her. Her eyes close, then grow huge as she doubles over in pain, still clasping her ears in a futile attempt to recover her senses. For now, everything is a ringing blur of snow and pain.
Vashti Amela
Ouchy!!!
Fortitude: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Staggers from the screams in her head, shrill and high, they sound like the cries of children at play. A joyful sound twisted to pain and madness in her head.
Channels energy at her next available action.
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Eyes flashing with cold, silent fury, Sigrun explodes into action, running forward as she draws the mighty hammer from her back, she dashes past her companions to meet one of the ice creatures.
Rage, charge (can cover up to 80 ft
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
1d12 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Your Benevolent Dictator
Blue: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1d3 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (3) = 6
Normally you can't charge through difficult terrain or allies, but you're tall, and Percy's a short Gnome, so I'll allow it.
Vashti's hammer smashes a large chunk out of the creature's arm, but it doesn't seem slowed down much. Eredhaias, Allie, and Gruff begin to run toward the battle. Not realizing it's missing half of its arm, Red Enemy takes a swing at Sigrun and (quite naturally) misses horribly. It glides backward (5ft step), reaches into the ice, and comes out with its arm fully restored. Meanwhile, Blue Enemy charges Eredhaias and smacks him a glancing blow. (take 3pts damage + 3pts cold damage, and make a Fort Save DC 12 to avoid being staggered for 1rd)
Round Two
Your turns
Percy Silvershaper
Does the 1 round of stun end now or next round?
Percy Silvershaper
8/10 hp
Percy finally manages to gain control of herself after several harrowing seconds and a shot of healing energy from Vashti. That wasn't nice. she whispers.
She marches forward with grim determination, sparks of multicolored fire flying up from her arms. As she walks she lifts her finger and a bolt of ever-changing magic streaks toward Red ice thing.
touch of chaos: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
But her movement to get in range throws off the trajectory of the bolt. It impacts just behind the monster and spawns a little daffodil which persists for a second or two before fading out of existence.
Vashti Amela
VASHTI SMASH!!! Oh, wait, I don't have a hammer or rage. Darn.
Also, Percy, I channeled as my first action so we should have healed up some! As my move I will, well, move..
Edit: And ignore the whole healing commit, silly me not reading all the posts first
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
The red-tressed warrior lays into the elemental with brutal efficiency, sending shards of ice flying in all directions.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
1d12 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Lucerne hammer allows reach reach, I should have been 5 ft back on the first attack and step forward to my current position now. Sorry.
Eredhaias Malynneil
Ered grins, despite the teeth chattering and pain. 3/9 HP remaining. His weapon growing the familiar jagged edges, the elf swings hard at the elemental striking at him.
Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Your Benevolent Dictator
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1d3 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (1) = 4
@Sigrun: oh, yeah. I was thinking you had an earthbreaker like Maldrek. No worries. :-)
Sigrun's attack rocks Red Elemental back on its heels. It seems severely injured. It slowly glides back a few feet to get away from the barbarian. The rest of the party's attacks miss. Blue Elemental smacks Eredhaias again, this time in the head. (take 3pts damage + 1pt cold damage, and make another Fort Save DC 12 to avoid being staggered for 1rd) It then glides closer to Sigrun.
New Round
Your turns
Eredhaias Malynneil
The smack to the head knocks Ered clean out, as his body slumps to the ground. That puts Ered at -1, so I'll need to make a second fort save, for stabilizing.
Fort Stagger (if needed): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Fort Stabilize: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Sigrun Jagrsdottir
Seeing the other ice monster advance as the one she was fighting retreated, Sigrun advances to a spot that places her between them, turning to strike the advancing opponent.
attacking Blue1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
1d12 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
"Percy, blast the injured one," she growls, the rage adding an icy edge to her voice.
Ok so the blue one's just untouchable, lol
Percy Silvershaper
Percy hears Sigrun's order and darts forward and to the side. She skids to a stop beside the big lady and mutters a phrase that interweaves arcane and divine elements. A second later she throws her hands forward and flames ripple down her arms to explode forward. They lick at Sigrun's heels without harm before engulfing the ice beast.
Burning hands DC 15: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Vashti Amela
Vashti reaches down and caresses Ereds cheek, infusing healing power to staving off death.
Rebuke Death: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Maldrek Kasidra
I am sorry to have to do this, but I will be pulling out of this game. I'm starting a new semester at school and I'm taking 20 credit hours, and I fear with too many games I'll be too distracted to focus on school. I'm sorry to do this so suddenly and leave a gap, but my schooling is more important. I wish all of you the best of luck!
Your Benevolent Dictator
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (2) = 5
Percy Fortitude: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Percy's gout of flame engulfs Red Elemental, melting it. Unfortunately, the blast of heat melts the ice she's standing on, and she plunges into the frozen water. It's 6ft deep and icy cold. (I'll need a Swim DC 10 to pull yourself out). Blue Elemental glides toward Sigrun and strikes her with an icy fist. (take 3pts damage + 2pts cold damage, and make a Fort Save DC 12 to avoid being staggered for 1rd).
