Yeah, yeah. Stupid lawful paladin. One of my chaotic little characters that are constantly splitting the party would have already found a way on top of that roof by now. ;)


Seeing the new threat approach them, Findor steps in front of Adele and fires an arrow at goblin rider 1, attempting to disarm the bow from his hands.

IMO Maysalkirii is just extreemly good at what he does. Thumbs up for a seriously effective dps.

Hearing the ruccus outside and seeing his smaller companions scramble Narses rushes outside. "Stay behind me!" he growls as he takes up postition in front of Findor and grows to 10'.

Maysalkirii moves next to Findor, behind Narses, and casts Shield of Faith upon his goblin-slaying ally.

+2AC and CMD for you buddy. And a sneak attack charge for me next round ;).

Still singing, Adele quickly scans the door for traps; she knows she's no Feek but considers that a room in obvious daily use is unlikely to harbor any terribly deadly hazards.

If she sees no danger, she will open the door to provide another target for the goblin riders, hoping to keep all of them from attacking Narses at once.

Inspire Courage +2 still in effect


Adele sees no traps, simply a weathered wooden door.

All you have to do is be able to hear her ... so I guess it's up to DM discretion as to how far her voice carries out that doorway. Next round, she'll have the door on the other end open so there shouldn't be a problem hearing her throughout the courtyard.


Since Adele is a bard, not some common street performer, I'm going to rule she has quite the pair of lungs on her. You have no problem hearing the song from your present position.

Everyone gets +1 luck bonus on attack, damage, saves, and skills. Bad guys take a minus one on all those things.


Narses moves 3sq north and 1sq n-e shoting "Come on you motherless sons of pigs!" keeping the stones between himself and the boar riders, hopefully to prevent beeing charged and beeing able to utilize his reach.

Maysalkirii surges forward, the boulder in his path not impeding him in the slightest as he somersaults onto it and plunges Ilyandrosa into the Boar before it can react to his presence.

Using a combination of Acrobatics and Agile Feet (ignoring difficult terrain) to take a charge action, ending to the left of Narses. As a Scout, this is a sneak attack on a charge unless the Boar has Uncanny Dodge.

One of the notes of Adele's song turns into a cry of pain as the goblin's lance pierces her flesh, but she grits her teeth and quickly recovers. Carefully, she backs further into the room Full-round action: Withdraw 3 squares south, her eyes still fixed on the goblin that attacked her as if daring it to come in after her. Her fingers flutter toward the bleeding wound torn by the lance, and she feels the power of Shelyn begin to knit her flesh together again. Swift action: Lay on Hands 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9

As the hobgoblin manuvers into postition and draws his bow Narses surprises him with his great size and reach as he lashes out at him with his axe.

Maysalkirii hurtles forward and stabs at the great boar, causing it to scream loudly. (How loudly? Like a stuck pig, of course.)
Narses catches one of the goblins as it rides by, savaging it with his axes and killing it. It's mount flees from the keep in a panic.
Adele retreats a few steps back and continues her song.
Dragox moves forward to attack, but fails to make contact. (Dragox is actually one space east of his current position, sorry.)
Findor repositions himself and fires an arrow, scoring a painful hit.

Your Humble Narrator

Maysalkirii casually dodges the goblins charge and sees Narses ready in a flanking position- the goblin attempts to flip through the air, over the head of the surprised goblin and plunging Ilyandrosa into the boar once more, hoping to cut the mount down this time.

Acrobatics check to leap three squares west over the head of the Goblin and Boar without provoking AOO as a move action. Swift action to change judgement to Destruction. Dragox's prayer included this round

1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22 Acrobatics check VS CMD (or CMD+5 if DM feels i'm going through their square, I would argue i'm going OVER it ;)).
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 38 Attack Roll, Prayer included
1d6 + 10 + 4d6 ⇒ (2) + 10 + (3, 5, 6, 5) = 31 Damage roll, Prayer and sneak attack and precise strike included.

Edit: Lmao, another 20 on Ilyandrosa... I ain't loading these dice, I promise...

Seeing that the goblin at the north door is now engaged with Feek, Adele spins toward the opening in the eastern wall. Fixing her eye on the goblin there with grim determination swift action: Smite Evil, she moves around Dragox to attack. I think you said Dragox is actually in the square southeast of Adele? If so, then she'll move 2 squares south and 1 east to end up south of him; otherwise, she'll just 5-foot-step southeast.

Rapier attack roll 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32
Damage 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Knowing Feek will have no trouble dispatching the hobgoblin in front of him Narses will step back to aid Findor. Mindfull of his demise in their last conflict, and not wanting to see that again, he snarls at the hobgoblin and hacks away with everything he's got.

Yup. 2d6 on the big axe, 1d10 on the little 'un. Also, an extra point of damage on both axes due to increased strength (don't know if you included that or not).

Findor moves diagonally through Narses space, allowing him to move forward to engage the goblin. He moves one space NE, and two spaces east. He turns and aims his bow again, attempting to disarm the lance from the goblin's (goblin rider 3) hands with a durable arrow.

I'm in range of the boar from Goblin Rider 2 if its still an active enemy.


ROUND 6 SUMMARY

Maysalkirii leaps through the air and deals a killing blow agains the boar.
Narses misses with his main axe, but catches the goblin under the chin with his second axe, nearly decapitating his enemy. The boar rushes from the keep in squealing terror.
Adele stabs with her rapier, divine energy augmenting her attack.
Dragox rushes forward and places several punishing blows on the remaining goblin.
Findor repositions himself and fires an arrow, disarming another goblin rider.

Adele rushes to check on Narses and Findor ending in the square south of Findor.

If necessary, she has a standard action left with which to Lay on Hands. If Feek finishes off goblin 1 on his initiative, she will stop singing. (He & Findor still have Inspire Courage +2 active until Adele's initiative.)


DM, is there a particular reason you put the events in that order. Its kind of confusing to me to read. :) Could you put the events in initiative order? As for being hurt, I haven't been touched! :P

Findor moves to the northeast, one space east, and two spaces north, preparing another armorpiercing arrow as he moves. When in sight of goblin rider 1, he releases the arrow.

His AC is his normal AC, Shield of Faith exactly countering his penalties.

Feek quickly rushes around to the other side of the distracted goblin, taking advantage of Dragox's position to get behind the goblin and backstab him.

Reaching high above her head, Adele grabs the hem of Narses' clothes and tugs to get his attention. "Narses!" she shouts upward, pointing to the building to the south. "Now that you're up there, do you see anyone on that roof?"


'huh?' Narses grunts as he looks in the direction Adele points.

The last goblin rider gurgles a bloody cry as Maysalkirii's blades impale him. The battle is over as no more enemies stand against you.

With your great height, you can see far up onto the roof of the eastern building. There is nothing noteworthy, only weathered tiles.

Going to assume you search the bodies...

Examining the bodies of the fallen, you see that the goblin riders had some sort of bright orange paste rubbed across their eyes. There is nothing else of note on the bodies.

You find the following equipment:

(3) Small bolas
(3) well-made Small studded leather armor
(4) well-made longsword
(4) longbow
(4) well-made chainmail
(80) arrows
(4) potions, bright orange and pasty
(4) potions, murky blue

"I'm no arcanist," Adele remarks, "but I'm fairly certain those vials of orange paste are some sort of application of true seeing. Those goblins could see me in spite of your invisibility, Feek." She sits back on her heels thoughtfully. "These People of the Dragon certainly have some unusual potions and unguents. Could they have an alchemist working with them?" She turns to Narses. "Did you see anything on the rooftop, Narses? Maybe a trap door? I think we should investigate that building next."

I think we would finish exploring and searching for enemies before looting, but its useful to have the list there.

Lets look in the room adjoining the bedchamber first. Feek suggests. You don't leave a minotaur standing guard outside for nothing... he reasons.
