Ghost Post to see what I'm missing...

Huh. I can't see it.

Neither can I. Whose post was it?

Jiminy rolls his eyes

"OK, cave flier strips and flapjacks with whatever kind of berries you have around here and whipped cream, with some ostrich eggs, once over easy, some chocolate cake, fried potatoes, a lizard steak, chocolate milk and don't forget some syrup. And you might want to get some more coffee, with sugar."

"What? I told you I'm hungry."

Err, if it's missing how are we supposed to know? ;) I think all mine are there...

Counting this post, there are 7 visible on this page. The counter at the bottom says "1601 to 1608." Which means we are only seeing 7 out of 8 posts.

Edit: Now there are more posts on the page. I'm not counting.

It's Jiminy's fault! Evil little child! He's infected the servers! Do edited/amended entries count as new ones? Other than that, I have no clue.

"Don't be silly, that's a light breakfast. Stop treating people like they are your toys. I warned you about that Jiminy. Oh and....stay out of my dreams. Chan does that too. Has since we were little. I don't like it. Your hover-carriage is ready for you next door. Be nice to Mr. Thorg if you meet him. He's very kind even if he does seem gruff. Oh, and er, Kannic, I think my share should just about cover what I owe you for loaning me the money to buy gear. And yes, Tam, I think that the whole traveling mechanic thing probably will work better for me. It's just that it seems so natural to me, I can't help but work fast. So I probably couldn't keep a steady income anyway if I set up in just one place." She finally stopped to catch her breath. "Well, you could always come into my dreams. Uncle Chan is afraid to. They're a lot of fun. And all kinds of colors. I keep my funnest toys in my dreams. Once, these people fell into one of my dreams and started laughing. I'm not sure why, but it was funny to see. They still were when I kicked them out. I went and found them a couple of days later and they were still laughing. Some people had them put them in a room with other people, most of them were strapped down, and these people in robes were taking care of them. They got to eat right in their beds! Isn't that cool? But the laughing people wouldn't stop laughing, even to eat. They didn't look so good. I gotta find the joke that made them laugh so hard!"

"What other food can I have? Is ice cream OK for breakfast? I like ice cream. And pastries? The kind with jelly in them? Come on, Mommy, I need the info!"

"Is she answered now she might choke on the food, and it's impolite to talk with a mouth full of food. Ice cream is a no, but the occasional jelly-filled pastry is okay."

"What's ice cream?" she asked as soon as she finished with her mouthful of food. "Is it yummy? Oh. So not for breakfast then. But those jelly-filled pastries do sound good. I may take you up on that, about the dreams, Jiminy. I have a much more flexible mind than Uncle Chan."

"Yep, all the time he acts like someone took his toys. Spoilsport, ice cream is made from milk and fruit so it might be OK for breakfast. Where do we get pastries? All this food is getting my tummy fuller. And speaking of full, you sure don't want a spillover back there." He looks over his shoulder towards his backside "Guess I shouldn't have ate all that spicy food, but it kinda tickles as it burns, then my mouth goes numb and my tongue feels funny, I bet that's funny to see from the outside. How 'bout one of you tries that was-sob-eee sauce on your breakfast? Then we could all see what it loks like. It'll be fun. At least until it hits the old pipes, if you know what I mean. You might need a diaper, but you don't want to sit in it for too long, like someone close to you, you know, hint, hint. What's a baby gotta do to get a change around here? Do I have go all pea soup on the table from the smell?"

"Jiminy, I have to ask. I know you wanted to stay young because it's supposedly more fun, but why did you pick an age that's too young to use a toilet? It doesn't sound like that's very fun to me. I don't think toddlers have more responsibility, but they don't have to sit in their own filth. Then again, neither do you, as you prove on a continuing basis. So why exactly do you wish for others to do this particular chore for you? It seems rather odd."

"Nothing says 'I love you' more than someone changing your diaper. Then, if I was a toddler, then I'd have all those tantrums, and that could be real bad. AND, when you're a baby and adorable like me pretty women like to cuddle you and make you feel safe. And it's so soft and warm...*sigh* Except you lately Mommy. Why is that? Do I need to be younger or older? I remember when you used to cuddle me. I liked that. You'd tickle my chin and I'd make bubbles with my spittle. The diapers don't seem to be a big thing. Then you could powder my cute little tushy, and nibble on my chubby thighs and we'd be happy. I do admit the teething is a bit of bear, but I've found that sweets counteract that most effectively. Besides baby diapers are nearly as bad as old man diapers, don't you think?"

Thought about researching 'diaper fetish' on wikipedia but was too afraid. o.O

"That never happened, James, and you know it," she said absently. "Maybe in a dream once. But I never had the chance to see you when you were really a baby, let alone hold you. And you know why." Her voice sounded dreamy and distant as she spoke, her eyes suddenly coming into focus on a piece of pancake she held poised halfway to her mouth. "Errr....did I just say something weird? I felt weird. Like the dreaming, but awake. See, this is why I don't like people interfering with my dreams."

"See? I was right. We can fix the other problems and go back to make up for lost time. Then we could cuddle all day. The other lady made herself to look just like you but I could tell. Just like you can tell. WE'RE GONNA BE SO HAPPY!" The dining room seems to take on a glow of its own, warm and purple, with bird song and butterflies. Jiminy seems to take on the glow himself, becoming almost insubstantial. Then it gets cut short abruptly. "Uh oh, we mustn't get ahead of ourselves. She'll notice, and ruin our fun."

Once the conversation pauses, and before it gets any weirder, Tam mutters something under his breath and gets up, going over to Jiminy and picking him up.

"Fine - one diaper changing coming up. Come with me."

Tam takes him to the nearest bathroom and uses an unseen servant to take care of the awful deed, as well as another cleanse cantrip to take care of the diaper. He returns several minutes later, plopping Jiminy back in his seat before returning to his own.

*sigh* "He forgot the powder again. And he didn't nibble at all. And he used magic. Again. It'll do, I guess, but I like it better when Mommy does it."

"Well, I guess it's time to fill up the old compacter again." He starts digging into the food with reckless abandon, just like Aananda, and the foods he likes seem to move closer to him on their own accord, just in time to be devoured.

I regret that I have but one croissant to sacrifice for my country. Those two ate all the rest!

Kannic heads out, returning in an hour with the the two pouches of gems. The table is strangely quiet as Aananda and Jiminy seem to have eaten themselves into a happy stupor. The wait staff looks frazzled, and have fearful looks that this is but a brief pause in the gluttony.

Or, are you two still eating?! ;)

"I swear I had more cave flier strips than this," says Ryo, looking at the single strip he has left. He eats it quickly before it dissappears as well.

"So, what now?"

"Well, if you're ready we can sart heading south. My home city is just a two day walk in that direction, so I'll take a ten minute detour by skimmer on the way. I need to check up on my charges and make sure Jake didn't let them wreck the house again."

My backup characters are.. strange. Only two right now, but I have plans to catch one more as he tries to pick Tam's pocket.

NO! I tried talking like Jiminy when playing a 12 year old in my friend's game, but I couldn't. Posts might be easier, but I don't think I'll try.
