Kyras Darksoul |

Kyras, fluent in Draconic, listens in on the conversation.
Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

Rannik |

Nighttail is trying to convince them to let you pass. She is talking of revenge against those that betrayed her father and the murder of family members through the ritual sacrifice that they performed. The others mention the consequence to them and their families if you fail. Nighttail says that you won't fail, but that's just in case, they might want to prepare to evacuate their family just to be safe.
Kakrish looks down the corridor. It goes for about thirty feet before turning out of sight. It also seems to become narrower as it turns slightly to the west. The rest of the group can also notice that this pool of water seems to have larger shapes swimming around. Here and there, they see heads coming to the surface for a moment before sinking back in the water.

Kyzen |

"Nightail, which way now?"

Tamora |

Tamora looks at the blocked corridor.
"Why is there a blockage in one of the tunnels?"

Rannik |

With her conversation over with the other Kobold, Nighttail answer Kyzen. "The dwarf is going in the right direction." She then looks at Tamora. "That tunnel leads to our storage room. It is locked up to slow down anyone that would try to infiltrate and steal from us."
You follow Nighttail down the corridor that Kakrish was looking at. At one point the corridor gets so narrow, that you have to help each other to squeeze by. Eventually you get to a fork in the corridor. Nighttail head toward the left corridor urging you on. "It is this way. We will have to climb down one more time then we will be near the usurpers lair."

Tamora |

Tamora scans the corridor with her detection magic and her senses (Take 20 for 30) before she steps towards it.

Kyras Darksoul |

Kyras, still in the front of his group continues to look for threats and asks Give us a moment to prepare before you bring us into a known combat.

Rannik |

Tamora inspects the corridor with her magic. As she is doing so, Nighttail turns to Kyras. "Prepare? We are still a couple of minutes away from the throne room. Once we get to the shrine, it will be time to prepare to get rid of those evil creatures." She then turns to Tamora. "Ready to move on?" With her inspection finished, Tamora didn't find or sense anything.

Tamora |

"Oh, I seemed to have misheard then. I thought we were already there."
Tamora nods as she follows others as they climb down.

Kyzen |

Kyzen stands ready for action...

Kyras Darksoul |

Speaking to the raven on his shoulder he asks Are you ready for the coming fight? How will you assist?
If the area is large enought Kyras will drink an Enlarge Person Extract. He will drink his potion of Shield of Faith regardless.

Rannik |

@Kyras, While the rooms are big enough for enlarge, the ceiling isn't high enough. In all the room you've seen so far, you would be hunched over if you were to use it now. Shield of faith last for 1 minute. I would save it for later... but that's me.
The Raven is pulled from his inner though. "Fight, yes, I might be able to annoy someone. But if you want me to be of real help, I'll need some blood of a victim. I've been locked away for too long. It took a drain on me." Nighttail is startled when the Raven starts talking. She tries to regain some composure as she turns to Kakrish. "Yes, it is that way."
The ceiling of this chamber rises slightly to a toward the back of the room. The cave floor drops away into a pair of long, fifteen-foot-deep pits. Between them, a ridge of stone forms a dubious walkway to a landing on the opposite side, where a five-foot-wide shaft with a knotted rope hanging down into it awaits. Around the hole in the floor stand some small skeletons. They turn toward the group as you start making your way along the ridge. They rush toward you, but with the lack of space, most of them fall into the pits.

Kakrish doesn't even hesitate. At the sight of the skeletons he charges forth raising his sword for a mighty swing. The sword whistles through the air as it slashes into the skeleton.

Kyras Darksoul |

Understand about the enlarge. Was not going to drink the shield of faith until the expected big fight. And Tamora I moved you up 30. Not sure if you can reach around that wall or now from where you are.
Kyras advances, pulling a morning star as he does so and swinging it two handed. Its obvious from his awkward swing that he does not often use this weapon.

Tamora's attack hits the skeleton directly in the chest and most of the bone cracks on the effect of the blast. Riding Hak, Nighttail gets in front of the line and try to finish the last skeleton with her spear. Navigating the ridge was harder than expected, however, and her attack is off target. Still standing, the skeleton aims for Nighttail, but she manages to deflect the blow with her spear.

Rannik |

The blast of earth from Kyzen annihilate the last skeleton. Bits of bone go flying everywhere. With those two down and the rest of them stuck in the pit, the group is able to climb down the rope to the next level. Once down there, Nighttail turns to the group. "Next room is the shrine, there will probably someone guarding it since it is the last room before the throne room where Vergas should be. The shrine can be accessed by those two tunnels. I suggest we split into two groups so that we aren't all blocked in the same corridor."

Kyzen |

"Ok, so Hoga, Nighttail, Kyzen on the left side and Kakrish, Kyras, Tamora on the Right. Is that ok with all?"

Kyzen |

"Me I'm easy going and always takes what's left"

Tamora |

"Nice pun. I have no problem with the group assignments. Let's do this."
Going right, she scans the tunnel for any hostile with her magic and senses (Perception (Take 20) - 30).

Rannik |

The group split in two and each take one of the corridors. It is a short walk to the next room. As you enter the shrine, what you see is rather unsettling. On the wall you see that someone painted multiple symbol that seems to be a circle with winglike arms. It is painted in a reddish brown color that looks like dried blood. On the floor, you see ripped and shredded tapestry and in the center, you see a ruin statue of a, well you can't make much detail of what is left. In the ruin of the statue, there is a small bastard sword, with the blade half driving in the stone. Around the statue and blocking the opposing exit stand more Kobold skeletons. These ones look different, however. There is a green glow coming from their chest and skull. As you enter, they turn to attack.

Kyzen |

Kyzen not seeing as much as he would like, can't make out the situation in the room, so he will wait to see what Hoga and Nighttail do and how they position themselves... He will then be able to take action...

Rannik |

Kakrish swings his mighty Greatsword at the small skeleton. The blade cause some damage, but not as much as it should. All at once, the skeleton close in on the group. Three of them gets into melee while to stay in the back. Claws and teeth try to get pass Kakrish and Hoga's defense. Kakrish only gets bitten once while Hoga's armor prevents all damage. After feeling the bite, Kakrish gets a weird feeling but he is able to shake it off. The glow coming from the skeleton skull seemed to have reduced.
As for the other two, Some of the glowing energy passes from their chest to their hand. The one on the left points at Hoga while the one on the right points at Kyras. The energy then travels to the target, striking them in the head. Both gets the same feeling that Kakrish had, but they also overcome it. The glow from their chest seemed to have also reduce. Unable to move forward, for now, Nighttail waits behind Hoga for an opening.

Tamora |

Blocked by the half-elf, dwarf and the raven, Tamora clicks her tongue as she pushes against the narrow tunnel with a few grunts.
"Kakrish, Kyras. I cannot do anything until you eliminated the skeletons that you are engaging and give me some space to work with."

Kyras Darksoul |

Kyras steps up 5 feet and attacks the same one Kakrish hit.

With is Morningstar held firmly with two hands, Hoga smashes down the small skeleton. As he walks over to the next one, Nighttail and Kyzen can see a small pile of bones with two glowing crystals. Kyras tries to clear the way in front of him, but the foe proved to be too agile. With the way finally clear, Nighttail urges Hak forward and aim her spear at the first skeleton she can get to. The 4 points of damage were on Kakrish.
Both Kakrish and Kyzen attacks misses the skeleton. The remaining undead creatures continue their attack. Kakrish manages to block and dodge all the attacks coming his way. As for Hoga, The skeleton couldn't get a bite on him, but did manage to tear at his flesh with its claws. Not wanting to get in the way, Nighttail waits to see where she will be needed the most. With blood dripping from his side, Hoga smashes his Morningstar to great effect, reducing another skeleton to a pile of broken bones.
