Think Nighttail can help our side?
That's what I was planning, but didn't have enough time to do her action before I had to leave, hence the delay
Kyzen rushes to the other side of the room and launches another attack against the skeleton. In his hurry, he doesn't aim low enough and the energy just passes over the skeleton's head. Kyras, thanks to the unobstructed view, is able to see his target perfectly. He spins his weapon and bring down the blade on the small creature. The blade fractures multiple bones, but the skeleton still stands, for now. With only two skeletons left, Nighttail closes in on the damaged one and attempt to finish it with her spear. This time, however, she isn't able to hit the creature. With a little whistle and some guidance with her legs, she encourages Hak to attack as well. The dinosaur tries to bite the thing's head off, but the undead creature just duck out of the way.

Well, at least she gets to show her contempt at the skeleton. You guys can finish those two now. Wait, the skeletons have not gone. That will be her next action if the skeletons are still standing.

Kakrish Stonetoe |

Kakrish smiles with violent glee. "This is what I love! Smashing evil things." He brings his greatsword down in a crushing stroke. "It almost feels like time for a song." He starts to hum while his blade whistles through the air and he steps closer towards the other skeleton.

With that last blow the lone skeleton joins the others as a pile of broken bones on the ground. The Raven flies over to the vandalized statue and look around the room. "I haven't seen that symbol in a while. Now who was it representing again... There are so many powerful beings out there." He study the walls for a moment. As he is doing so, Nighttail climb down from Hak and walk over to what remain of the statue. See stare and the sword that is driven deep in the stone. There is a mixture of sadness and anger on her face.

Kyras Darksoul |

Kyras takes a look as well.

Nighttail looks at Kyras. "The sword was my father's. It is the prize possession of our clan. The statue was that of the Fertile Flame. But it is all gone now. Destroyed by those... those..." She as a hard time finishing the sentence. As she just stands there, and remain silent. Raven flies back to Kyras. "Nyarlathotep! Those symbols are of Nyarlathotep. The boss won't be happy about that."
The Fertile Flame is the title given to the demigoddess Feronia. She a neutral deity of fertility, sacred fires, wildfire.
Feronia was at one point the wife of Dispater. They had a son that is now known as the Empyreal lord Ragathiel.
The symbols painted on the wall are indeed of Nyarlathotep. That symbol represents the Haunter of the Dark, one of the many forms that he uses.

Tamora |

Is the raven referring to Kyras or his superior?
Tamora feel the broken statue as she closes her eyes.
"Thus Nyarlatholep left his unholy marks here. So much havoc...so much loss. All caused by the servants of the dark haunter..."
The inquisitor left the statue, humming a soothing tune to assuage the pain the female kobold is feeling as she treats Hoga's wounds. (Blessed Surgery on him)

Ready to move to the next room.

Tamora |

Need results of her scouting before we move on. Tamora is not crossing the next room/throne room to scout by the way. She tries to scout from the corner of the winding tunnel.

Rannik |

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to post on monday but it wasn't a good day for me health wise.
The group moves forward into the corridor. A few yards in and you get to an intersection. The northern corridor is blocked by a fence. Nighttail moves to it. "This corridor used to lead to my father's personal quarters. The other leads to the throne room. I suggest we head to that one first since our target doesn't require to sleep." Looking down the southwestern corridor, you feel almost like a cold chill coming from it. As if you are about to walk into the ice grasp of death itself.
Tamora doesn't detect any evil or any traps so far.

Kakrish Stonetoe |

"Let's continue on." Kakrish brandishes his weapon. "I'm ready." He turns to Hoga. "When we get to an enemy stay close, I'll put a blessing on you that should help in the battle."

Kyzen |

Kyzen stands ready...

Rannik |

Walking toward the throne room, you can feel the cold all the way down to your spine. It is almost like you can feel the waves of evil washing over you. Even the walls look like they are oozing that energy. Finally, you make it to the throne room. At the top of the rough-hewn steps is a large cave, the floor strewn with fresh straw. The bones of many different creatures, animal and humanoid both, hang on the walls. Sitting on a stone is a large humanoid armored skeleton. In his hand, you see a monstrous bastard sword made with some sort of crystal material. On either side of him stand two Kobold wearing robes. Both have the symbol you saw in the previous cavern sewn into the cloth.
The skeleton looks up as the group gets to the top of the stair. "So, finally some action, I was starting to get bored." He then notices Hoga, Kakrish and Tamora. "Oh, what do we have here. You were warned that I couldn't be killed. Yet, here you are trying again, with new friend it would seem. My power as grown since the last time we meet. Have yours?" He stands as you take the last few steps in the room.

Kakrish Stonetoe |

"Well Hoga, this is it." Kakrish reaches over and touches Hoga on the forearm. He closes his eyes and his lips move silently while he calls upon his deity's blessing. His eyes pop open. "Ok. That should help you!" With that done, Kakrish moves along the side of the room, bring his sword to bear.
"Well, mister skeleton man, I think that you weren't nearly as powerful as you thought you were. Maybe now you are a match for us. But I doubt it."

Each bonus selected lasts for 1 round.

Tamora |

"Then we will be there to defeat you every time you rise, Asar. You may had pandered some with your grander illusion. I assure you that tale won't work on us. Everything will perish one day even the walking dead. Your so call immortality is possible because of one artifact that keeps reanimating you. It will end once we find it. We will put a stop to its magic and grant you sleep eternal."
Tamora blesses Hoga (protection from evil) before stepping back, drawing her crossbow.
The thread exploded while I was sleeping. I am going to have Tamora automatically buff people next time (depending on the information we have) before we go in.

Rannik |

Kakrish and Tamora use divine magic to protect and increase the fighting prowess of Hoga. From the other side, you can see that they are something similar. The Kobold with the staff uses magic on himself. The other Kobold's spell as a more visual effect as multiple copies of himself appear all around him.
Asar walks forward, sword in hand. "Big words for someone who hides behind his allies. That artefact is now beyond your reach, and with every passing day, I grow stronger. Then, when the time is right, my Lord shall set foot on this realm again and a new world shall rise from the ashes of this one."

Hoga, you also have protection of evil. You also gain +2 deflection to your AC and saves.

Rannik |

The Raven remains on Kyras shoulder as best has he can during the charge. The blade digs deep in the Kobold, inflicting a massive wound on such a small frame. It is almost unbelievable that he is still standing after this, yet there he is. "Perfect" The Raven flies to blade part and manages to get some of the blood. He then turns to Kyras. "This will do for a short while."
Hoga's attack is expertly placed on Asar. Bones cracks and the armor bend where the weapon hit. "You!" With only one word, you feel the anger coming from the ancient warrior. There is no doubt on who will be his target for the fight. With a bit of healing for himself, Kakrish advance on Asar. He gets a good swing with is greatsword, but the blade gets deflected by the armor. The badger appears out of nowhere and uses tooth and claws on the undead fighter. While the claws only scrape the armor, the bite actually gets a hold of some bones, but the jaw muscles aren't strong enough to break any.
Backing slightly behind the stone, the priest uses his magic to heal himself. The wound closes somewhat, but Kyras can still see that it is still causing some discomfort in the way the Kobold moves. The second Kobold turns to Kyras. Apparently he doesn't like having an enemy this close and take a step back before using some more magic. After a few words of incantation, there is a dark energy that travels from him to Kyras.
Cause Fear, The affected creature becomes frightened. If the subject succeeds on a Will save, it is shaken for 1 round. Will DC 14.
"This time you will go down!" The form and style of Asar is flawless. From this single attack, you understand how he got the reputation he had and what it costed to bring him down when he was living. The blade almost opened up Hoga completely. Instead, he ended up with a wound that travel from one shoulder all the way to the opposite side leg. This battle will be difficult.
