"I an totally taking this thing back to the weapon shop I bought it from!" exclaims a frustrated Bardos.
... for a full refund.
The adherer reaches out to grab Thorthal and maneuver him into the webs beside Morgrom.
This provokes from Thorthal, Morgrom, and Haer Kul. I'll let you guys roll, as some of you may choose to forego the attack.

Thorthal Runecloak |

AoO w/ dagger, Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Thorthal knows a decent blacksmith in Skyhelm if Morgrom is interested, can't help much with the sling though.

DM Rambler |

The creature has been badly wounded, but still manages to carry through her attack.
reposition: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 4 = 22
She is successful at moving the dwarf into the glue.
Reflex Save please, Thorthal.
Note that I think dwarven stability bonus should apply to reposition, but it doesn't matter with that roll.

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Assuming Thorthal isn't entangled he will 5' step back to his previous position, and unleash a flurry of dagger stabs on the creature.
Flurry, Power Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Flurry, Power Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Haer Kul |

to not miss: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9, damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
boo, spell resistance: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
I am assuming that because I cast fire spells at caster level 3, that's also the caster level I use in spell resistance. If not, it's 1 less.

Haer Kul |

"That thing was Onessa? How do you know? What kind of evil are we facing? We will get you out of here, don't worry, Rexel."
I don't suppose someone can build a ladder out of the darkwood snake?
"How did you get here? What happened to the townsfolk in the pit? "

DM Rambler |

The hall leads to a chamber which is dominated by a domed apparatus roughly 11 feet in diameter and 6 feet tall. The weird device is composed of slimy, pale-violet stalks of flesh studded with scores of flexible, metallic-looking, fungal growths which writhe and interact like mechanical gears. Sixteen glass containers—each about twelve inches in diameter—connect to the apparatus through gurgling hoses, vibrating tubes, and sparking metal wires. Each holds a bubbling froth of pink slurry that reeks of potent chemicals. The entire machine shakes and shudders, emitting a gurgling whimper every few seconds as a sickly, green radiance glows from within.

DM Rambler |

Haer Kul advances past the machine, looking for the ooze.
"You must be gifted indeed to overcome so many challenges, and so many of our minions. That makes you excellent candidates for assimilation and transformation. You will become klaven and the jagladine will be pleased."

Haer Kul |

Has Haer Kul ever heard of the klaven or jagladine?
Knowledge(arcana): 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (11) + 6 + (5) = 22
Knowledge(geography): 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (13) + 6 + (5) = 24

Knowledge(religion): 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (16) + 6 + (3) = 25
Haer Kul will retreat back to the group with a very disturbed expression. "Did anyone else hear a voice? And I don't suppose 'klaven' or 'jagladine' ring any bells?"

Thorthal Runecloak |

"Naw, A did nae hear anythin'."
Thorthal will proceed further into the room and search around to try to find this voice or anything Haer Kul may have missed.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

DM Rambler |

As Thorthal searches the far side of the machine, something slithers out from hiding and tries to touch him with a slimy "arm".
+17 Stealth, just so you know.
bad touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Thorthal's leg begins to go numb where the creature touched it. Fort save, please. Dwarfness applies.
The creature is a translucent blob of flesh, with a hood-like "face" and three long pseudopod "arms". The arms are emitting a foul-smelling ooze.
"You are an extremely healthy specimen. I will have to adapt the Strain for you, but I'm certain the Jagladine will be overjoyed to have you as a battle-slave."

Knowledges:: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Petronicus wracks his brain, trying to remember reading of such a creature. What is their classification, favoured terrain... lifestyle choices, mating habits.. no none of that... CAN I KILL IT WITH FIRE?
Unless they are fully immune to fire he belches forth his final breath of fire.
He will take an action to share what he knows of such creatures and their defences.

Morgrom's blade swooshes above the creature.
All of the heroes hear a voice in their heads.
"Please do not be agitated. You may damage yourselves, harming your ability to serve."
One of the creatures slimy extrusions worms its way into Thorthal's ear.

Petronicus moves to have a look at the green vials and wonders if there is anything that can be done to disrupt this vile machine.
Knowledge: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
If there is not he will try to move around behind the tank to get closer to Haer Kul.

DM Rambler |

Morgrom slices into the creature, but most of the wound reseals itself after his greatsword passes through.
The ooze extends a dripping tendril towards Morgrom, and the warpriest is coated in a numbing slime.

Morgrom needs a Fort save vs a poison effect.

"We prefer our independence, thank you. Remember what Mr. Alazario told us, no? Bludgeon it. I will wave flames in it's vicinity to distract it."
Haer Kul jabs the flame in his hand at the ooze: melee touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16, damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
"Oh, did that hit you? How careless of me." Haer Kul's surprise is genuine. So is his sarcasm.
