So fun note, my time in the us army over a decade ago was spent with the rangers, ghile canvas suits of camoflauge for everybody as we travel... and yes I may have took a gander at your sheets and lack of stealth skills so hopefully this will help :D That being said my loose plan for the moment is we sort find this advance horde and set tiny little traps along their path herding them torwards a path we have set up for an ambush, hit them, run away on horses and repeat.

give me an up on this page when your character is good to go for lvl 2 and all purchases are made. I will start the narrative off to get things going. this is for Cerian, Mogwag, Bonifacious, Victrix and Alistair

After the discussion in the main room of the Hostel those chosen for the task of defending Berwyn from outside make their own way to prepare for the journey. There are five horses at the stables set aside for your use. All of them are riding horses with weathered bit and bridle and saddles.
After the five return from their preparations they pack up and load the purchased donkey and depart through the south gate of Greyhawk. The road takes them through lands nominally under control of the Mayor of Greyhawk although recently the boat people, the Rhenee, have claimed a large section of the riverbank daring anyone to throw them off.

i dont think he would mind but perhaps shoot him a quick message? I know he was worried about the equal distribution of wealth, I highly doubt he would be too worried if you kept the mace to catch us up some with Bonifacius

Oh and once the purchases were finished I am ready, During the trip towards the targeted area he would no doubt pepper Mogwag with all sorts of questions about Orc heritage strengths weaknesses etc... he might even at dusk try different camoflauge patterns and see what was easier for Mogwag to pick up

The black team bids farewell to the gold team whom you see packing horses with lots of supplies and arguing over it all. You lead your mounts out of Greyhawk City and down the River Road stopping only near Perryville for lunch. After lunch you continue down the road until you get past the Thorp of Two Ford. A few miles outside of Two Ford you decide to make camp off the road in a nice clearing Cerian found.

You take turns pulling guard throughout the night and in the morrow you break camp and continue towards Crossford. Only merchants and pilgrims seem to be your road companions. Rumors abound of lands fallen to the south, armies rising in the north, the powerful mages of Oerth bickering and possibly a risen god living with man in the frozen lands.

You continue through One Ford to Cross Ford paying a few copper to get across the water. From there you take the old North Bay Road passing through small fishing shanties and thorps as the grandeur of Greyhawk fades in the distance. You travel until dusk and make camp in the small village of Pelgaryn. The inn is small and cramped but the fire is warm and the food is edible. The next day you continue your travels southward and as you pass through the town of Safeton you feel the change in local attitudes as the Wild Coast is a more chaotic land than the Dominion of Greyhawk you left. Another day of travel passing merchants and pilgrims leaves you camping off the trial near the Dragons Tail section of the coast that juts out into Woolley Bay.

I am sure it has more to do with her fair appeal to perhaps the others in the group she was last in Friend Bonifacius.

He answered truthfully. When they finally made the camp near Dragons tail he first took a quick inspection of the sight and checked for both possible approaches to their little campsite and then he got to work on the peices of canvas that he had bought working of cutting irregularites within them, using the glue to add soil, dirt, moss, and other natural debris to break up its outline and form a sort of camoflauge netting the others could use to both cover up their sleeping spots and perhaps as a blind to help when they eventually found the trail of the orcs and began to ambush them.

Check for the application to the camo blinds for my less stealthy friends? I wasnt sure which check exactly would be the most fitting went with Survival because it was the one closest to hunting in a way.

I will say that using the ghillie suits (and I have built a few of them in my time) will provide an auto assist to the Stealth roll of the person who wears them in the wilderness. So it provides a +2 to their role if Cerian builds them properly (Survival role)- without canvas, and colored burlap, and fishing line for sewing, and shoe goo to cover the seems, and pads on the knees and elbows cause knee-elbow crawling sucks

over the course of the night the group manages to make one camouflage suit. Cerian tests it out and determines it is good enough for use. The night goes by without incident and the group decides to break camp and continue on their journey. They still have a ways to travel before searching for the orc horde.

Following the road they come upon what appears to be a wagon being looted by a few bandits with two merchants on the ground bleeding and being pummeled. The bandits see the approaching party and brandish their weapons as if implying 'do not interfere'...

He doesnt even hesistate to slide off his mount and counter their negotiation tactic with one of his own. He drew an arrow, one of the whistling ones, and loosed an arrow. (at one carrying a ranged weapon if none carry a ranged weapon then light blue beside the wagon)

the teal brigand shouts out "They are all mad and crazy!" after seeing Victrix' battle prowess..."Flee!" and the brigands break away from combat running into the woods...
