He was very aware of the two orcs fleeing to perhaps get help so he followed after them doing his best to stay quiet. He drew aim at the lead orc (green)and loosed an arrow but cursed immeadiately. He had been too focused on the longer harder pull that his shot went errently wide.

The chaos of battle always slightly amused him. He thought he was supposed to chase down the ones fleeing, instead the pretty barbarian lass had taken a nasty cut. Time to cut them down quickly then.

He saw the other orc (pink)take off running so he too took off to cut him off trying to leap up onto the boulder in his path... He drew and arrow and loosed it at the fleeing orc.

Victrix has two dead orcs at her feet, Mogwag chases after the fleeing orc who takes an arrow in the leg from Cerian and slows down enough for Mogwag to finish him off. Alistair and Bonificious finish off the last fighting orc and the wounded orcs near the bear traps.

He moved quickly moving amongst the orcs and making sure they were all dead.
Come my friends quickly let us search them for anything interesting then let us put them back around their campsite. We can set a beartrap or two to hopefully catch any of the orcs wondering where this camp is. We can then move torwards whatever that siege engine they are trying to build is... and burn it down with the oil we have.
He said making to follow his words and dragging the pink orc back torwards their campfire.

The group drags the bloodied corpses back to the campsite and set some bear traps for anyone who comes to the location. how many do you leave?
dont forget three members are injured: Mogwag-7, Bonni-9, Victrix -9
the group finds the dead orcs have smelly hide and scale mail armors, glaives and swords and crude shields if you desire to take any of their gear. You do know the seige engine construction is further north from where your battle took place.

The group clears out of the immediate area but they do find numerous tracks leading to the orc camp. After finding the orc camp the group spends some time reconnoitering the siege site (new map is up showing the orc siege of the town).
The orcs have levelled a massive amount of trees to feed their war machines. There are two catapults being built, two siege towers being built, one battering ram, massive arrow shields have already been built and emplaced encircling the town save for the back of the town which ends at a cliff. The town front gate has suffered some damage but looks to be repaired. The orcs have four elevated watchtowers protecting their base and many different tribal banners are displayed depicting the different tribe HQs. orc warrior tents litter the landscape as well.

To not spend too much time say 3 of the 10 traps but gathering all the caltrops? Shall we go siege engine hunting my friends?

Are any of the siege engines either watchtowers or catapults heavily guarded? Do the orcs seem to be keeping a watch on their backs or are they more focused on the town?

Alistair takes a look at the seige towers, thinking if there is some way to abuse their structure - though this would be based merely off rumors and the like as he had never studied siege weaponry

The group does a quick scouting of the are and understand why the orcs brought the hobgoblins to the siege. The hobgoblins are the war machine masters, building and gaurding the towers, catapults and the battering ram. In a normal setting the small numbers of hobgoblins would be subserviant to this orc horde, but their knowledge of war machines puts them on equal footing. A rough counting of tents puts the beseiging army's numbers at over 1500.
As the group is scouting out the enemy camp they see a black cloud begin swirling directy over the towns citadel and the sky gets darker and the wind gets a tad colder. Lighting comes down from the black cloud towards the citadel tower and lighting goe up from the tower to the cloud as well.
Soon everyone in the group hears the rumbling of an orc patrol walking around the area and they know this is not a place to get caught in aifight with so many reinforcements readily available.

That was more in line with what I was intending my friend. Get close enough to take out a siege engine or two but that battering ram certainly needs to be destroyed, maybe take out a few of their workers and get out. We just need to take pressure off the city.
He began carefully carving two small little notches along the bow he had borrowed from the fallen elf.

The party spends a rough and uneventful night. They begin their regular morning preparations in peace until they hear faint screams coming from the distance. They look at each other to see if others heard it or if it was imagined and they each confirm they heard the distant scream. They grab their gear and move out to investigate the sounds and both Cerian and Bonificious pick up the trail. The trail leads them to an orc combat outpost where a squad of ten orcs and some orc war dogs are located along with a gaggle of prisoners, mostly human, beaten and filthy. The dogs are unchained and seem to be leaving the prisoners alone as they are eating fresh meat. A dead human body lies chopped up near the dogs. Casters will detect the aura of a magical item inside the smaller tent.
