Do you slam, aka flat of the blade and doing bludgeoning damage or regular attack. If slam you just substract 4 from the attack roll?

The feat 'Weapon Versatility' allows you to change the type of damage your weapon does as a swift action, but has the prerequisite of weapon focus in the selected weapon. Other than that, there is the 'Versatile' weapon enhancement.

Snarling at the damage to his weapon, Uran clears it as best he can and continues to fire.

Attack-ranged Touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Use Quick Clear ability to remove broken condition on rifle....not that it helped any...why does this dice roller hate me so!!

For the previous hit. Dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Aelden just grits his teeth and strikes back, blood pouring from his wounds.

I believe I took 11 pts there, so I marked it. I will hit a second skele if the first one goes down from the 6 points.

Att: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 2 = 19 Dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12


Finally striking down the last Skeleton 4 standing heros look around finally happy that the fight is over.

I'm not so sure about heading back argues Aurora in response to Aelden's suggestion

It's a long way back across the desert, and there's no guarantee we won't be ambushed by more of those skeletons on the way back. We could always camp here for a while if we need to rest and recuperate.

Now Gregory has been brought around by the potion, Aurora questions him

Are you able to continue? Do you have enough healing magics to proceed?


Gregory still has to roll for his CLW potion. I rolled for mine.

"Die here. Die there. Cannae see the difference, lass." Aelden growls. But he hefts his shield and warhammer and prepares to lead on, if necessary. "We need to watch ourselves an' keep an eye for yer health, mates. Ye ain't no good to us if yer barely walkin'."

Gregory coughs and blearily opens his eyes when he is fed a potion.

CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4.
CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8.

He then casts a couple of spells, causing his wounds to completely heal.

"I am good to continue on."

So saying, he picks up his weapon, and cautiously continues forward.

Being thoroughly suspicious of tracks the end at a blank wall, Gregory looks for a secret door (Take 20 = 25), and failing that, experimentally attempts to tap his sword through the wall.

Since it is probably either a hidden door, or an illusion.


Will save? Gregory does see something like light shining through the wand

Through a mixture of luck and raw determination you manage to discern that htis is again something like an illusion.

This metal room is brightly lit by glowing panels in the ceiling
above. To the left and right, complex machines consisting of
spiral tubes and nozzles twitch and hum.

You can see another door on the other side.

Vanya looks around and she thinks it is some kind of machenery. Unfortunatly... it is malfunctioning. You have to make a disable device check to prevent it from.... well something might and will happen!

You have MW tools, Disable Device is a Class skill and it keys now from int. How do you just get a bonus of 5 and a trait to give you another one point? In any case, it is not enough, you can try once again.

Vanya puts away her weapons, armor and backpack and concentrates to try it again.

Working hard and fast, only interrupted by a question if all is fine by uran, wich she replys with a grunted"This is tricky!" Vanya is able to connect a wire here, cut a wire there, but suddenly you can smell ozone in the air just as a tooting sound getting fast silent tells her she just made it in time. As she turns round everyone can see she has a little diffrent haircut.

Aelden just stares at Vanya for a long moment.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! Now THAT'S a look I can get with lass!" he howls, dropping his hammer in mirth. It takes a moment to gather himself. When he does, he walks by Vanya holding his hand over her head. He tries in vain to get her hair to flatten out, then walks up to lead again, chuckling to himself.

Aurora shares a grin with the rest of the party at Vanya's display. As they move on and she walks past the elf, Aurora reaches out with a hand to touch Vanya's hair, then bangs her metallic staff on the floor. As quickly as it stood on end, the elf's black tresses now fall around her shoulders as usual.

Tipping her a wink, Aurora moves past and follows Aelden.

You would say it sounds solid and a bit muffled, as if the ground eats the sound.
