His Overland Flight still active, Radsworth considers the actions of those trying to ingratiate themselves with the greater power of the old ones.

The Snake God Yig was another weight on the very imbalanced scales of this universe. He again turns his mind to Sun Mi and her future.

The snake would have to go.

Yingzen leaps through the portal, Dawnsaber, the Blade of Oberon, scintillating with rainbow hues in his black hands, and slices a deep gash in the serpentine trunk of one of the two naga archons!

The Rumble in Mexico City! Round uno!! Eeeeek!! EEEEK!!

Yingzen! (Struck naga archon)
Al'Torac! (Cast disintegrate on Yig)
Yig! (Cast control weather)
Aghasura asuras (4)! (Readied attacks)
Naga archons (2)! (Cast mage armor on selves)
Medusa! (Gaze attack on Yingzen)
Snake-headed Balor demons (2)! (Cast blasphemy on Yingzen)
Serpentfolk priests (2)! (Cast energy drain on Yingzen)
Derrik Stonesmith!
Mikey Jay!
Koran "The Hammer of Thor"!
Marcus Greer!
Sieg Alfbrecht!
Drug lord 'El Grande'!
Marilith demons (4)!
Daisy Eaglefeather!
Professor Radsworth Pennington!
Drug Lord Nazario Gonzalez!
Drug Lord Vincente Fuentes!
Drug Lord Hector Beltran Leyva!

Eeeeeeek!!! Eeeeeeek!!!!

Retroactively, instead of readying blasphemy, the snake-headed balors would have Yingzen and Al'Torac as targets on their side of the portal, and would use their blasphemy as soon as their turn came up....

The snake-headed balors hiss vile blasphemies at Yingzen and Al'Torac! Both must attempt Will saves, DC 25, or be dazed 1 round!

Medusa gazes at Yingzen! He must succeed on a DC 18 Fortitude save or be permanently turned to stone!

Human Dark Tapestry Oracle 15; Mythic Hierophant Tier 6; HP: 114/114

I think it's save or be Dazed and Weakened, since we're still 19th level. So if he saves, he takes a 1d6 penalty to Str for 2d4 rounds, or 2d6 penalty if he fails.

Getting back into playing a high level caster after so long is hard.

Marcus will use a Mythic Power to cast Overwhelming Presence, augmented to be Persistent by his Rod and spend another Mythic Power to activate his Mythic Spell Focus.

Spell Penetration: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (1) + 38 = 39
Spell Penetration 2: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (4) + 38 = 42

Assuming that overcomes most target's SR (though not Yig's, I think), every enemy on the field must make three DC 33 Will saves. Failure of one of them means they are Helpless for the next 22 rounds, success means they are merely staggered for 1d4 ⇒ 1. This is a Mind Affecting Compulsion effect.

"Bow before my awesomeness!"

Aw, nuts. Depending on how clustered they are together I may want to change my action then. I just wanted to get a chance to screw somebody over with that spell before this game ends. =)

Male Human (Dwarfblood/Infused) Inquistor 12/ Paladin of Vengence 4 / Chevalier 3| Mythic Guardian-Champion 9 (Lvl 19)

I assume the groupings are clustered but I doubt much more than that. How about We see after Derrik's turn what is alive and what is not.

Mike you didnt roll the Energy Drains. Also are we at ground level? I'll assume so.

Derrik steps out of the portal soon after, his intimidating presence seen by the ill-brought evil around. His radiant goodness likely palpable in the eyes of the various demons, abominations and even Yig himself. The contrasting black and white rune-etched armor, steel Ithoqua apparatus and weaponry made him a sight to behold as the enemy rained down attacks upon him.

He is undaunted by whatever they may do, his aim the serpent-god at the center of all of this. Dawnbringer raised to the skies as he brings down a mighty proclamation.

" Lo and behold wretched Yig and ALL evil in this land. You have grown fat on fear, destruction, murder and savagery! You have desolated these lands with your corrupting FILTH and sickening presence as if thus world was you play thing. I.. Am Derrik Stonesmith and WE are THE FIERCE ONES! There shall no longer be any tolerance for your actions and you shall be PURGED from this world forever more. Your Reign is at an End! So say WE. Yig, I shall personally make your head roll, I have deemed you Trash, a stain on this plane ! PREPARE YOURSELVES, ALL OF YOU! FOR THE WRATH OF HUMANITY'S DETERMINATION! "

Derrik begins to glow brightly both a Red and Azure hue.. that mixes into a green aura. in a blink of an eye his spectral chains fling him into the air, he is upon the Snake God falling from the sky cutting through the winds with his very form. I know it's probably hard to picture the battlefield without a battle mat, but the closest targets to the portal are the two naga archons, standing 10 feet in front of the portal and ten feet from each other. The two snake-headed balors stand about 20 feet laterally from each of the two naga archons and about 30 ft from each side of the 10-ft-diameter portal. The two serpentfolk priests stand about 20 ft behind the naga archons and about 40 ft from the portal. Medusa stands about 60 ft from the portal and has line of sight to it between the naga archons. The four mariliths are about 80 ft from the portal, forming a line roughly 70 ft wide, with about 10 ft between each. The four aghasura asura stand in a line about 70 ft wide, with about 10 ft between each, staggered with the mariliths so all have unobstructed views of the portal, and about 60 ft from the portal, with Medusa in between the middle two. The four drug lords stand in a close cluster about 80 ft back from the portal and about 30 ft to one side of the marilith line. Yig is coiled atop the ziggurat, about 100 ft back from the portal and 200 ft above ground level. All other enemies are in the ground level.

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

With the above layout in mind, which enemies would Marcus target with his spell?

Koran you didnt jump that high.. again. And distance is an issue for your attacks. We start 100 away, and then 200 ft up so unless you can bridge that gap with movement you cant get to him.

Male Human (Dwarfblood/Infused) Inquistor 12/ Paladin of Vengence 4 / Chevalier 3| Mythic Guardian-Champion 9 (Lvl 19)

The leap itself is a charge otherwise I could have full attacked. Your movement is perhaps 70-80 ft... Then from that point its 20ft up most likely at an incline.. So say you double moved, That would mean you cant charge any more. Derrik or Mikey can get there because of our increased Speed possibly But Koran would need to Double move To get ~ 20 ft up the Ziggarut Which would leave a gap of ~180 ft. Even with the Leap you got ~ 95 ft which is still 80~ish short. And we cant fly sadly.

It doesn't look as though I can catch more than two guys. Mind if I change my action to something a little more wide-reaching? Or at least less expensive.

Marcus decides to be a bit reckless, transforming into a Huge Bronze Dragon. He flies to the middle of (but 20 feet above) the combined Marilith/Agasura line, and claps his claws together.

Holy Word. Everything within a 40 ft. radius/80 ft. diameter (which should be all the Mariliths and Aghasuras, and maybe a few others?) must make a DC 31 Will save.

Edit: Using Inspired Spell to cast this for the +2 CL.

If they are 12 HD or less, they die. Success means they take 3d6 + 22 ⇒ (3, 5, 3) + 22 = 33 damage instead.

If they are 17 HD or less, they are also paralyzed for 1d10 ⇒ 7 MINUTES. Success reduces this to one round.

If they are 21 HD or less, they are also Blinded for 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6 rounds. Success reduces that to just the first d4 rounds.

And if they are 22 HD or less, they are also Deafened for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds. Save negates.

Additionally, any Non-Good Outsider in the area must make a DC 31 Will save (at a -4 penalty) or be instantly banished back to their home plane, where they may not return from for 24 hours.

Ooh, I caught the Balors too? bonus points!

Guess that makes it Sieg's turn.

Sieg drops to the ground, charges at the remaining Balor, and Rages, growing Large.

Vital Strike: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (18) + 37 = 55

Damage: 24d8 + 272 ⇒ (1, 8, 2, 6, 6, 1, 8, 8, 6, 4, 3, 3, 8, 1, 6, 4, 7, 3, 4, 1, 4, 2, 4, 5) + 272 = 377

I think that kills it. If not, I Grapple:

Grapple (Hamatula): 1d20 + 54 ⇒ (17) + 54 = 71

And swing it at the nearest other enemy, or the ground.

Swing: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (6) + 31 = 37

Damage: 1d8 + 31 ⇒ (3) + 31 = 34

"RAAAAWR!"

Did Seig actually charge?

Umm. No. Derp. Subtract 2 from the attack.

Its more you cant Vital Strike and charge. Also did Sieg get a bonus from the change to get an extra boost to damage? I assume the size increase gives a +... 36 but that seems to miss something. Either way it Provokes.

I'm just going by what the Vital Strike damage is listed on my sheet. It's the same as I had been using. I'll figure it up later.

AoO with +1 vorpal shock whip 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (20) + 30 = 50 lashes Sieg for 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 slashing plus 1d6 ⇒ 2 electricity damage plus entangle 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (20) + 33 = 53, drawing Sieg adjacent and grappling him!

Confirm vorpal crit 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (12) + 30 = 42 confirms! Sieg's head is whipped from his shoulders by the snake-headed balor's vorpal whip! The hero falls dead....

OMG!! So sorry, Sieg! :-o

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

This looks like a job for: JINGASA!

I believe I can negate that crit like any other.

If not, I use Force of Will to make him re-roll that initial attack roll (since I don't think Vorpal needs to Confirm, it's just 20 = Kill), unless he's a Mythic Balor.

It depends, did you use any swift actions on your turn?
