Nazdip Stinkblade |

A scruffy looking young halfling arrived, escorted by a constable.
"Constable Cecil says I have to get out of town until I learn to be a proper halfling. I guess you guys are the squad he was talking about?
"...wait...aren't you the one the Goblins call Lillith the Mean Girl? You sure scared the heck out of the Mosspukers...they never wanted to patrol in your territory."

"I was not talking about Muroi, but rather my friend here." She says, holding up a very creepy looking doll. "Mister Cadby Rypt has been with since I was a child. He's been quite helpful."
"I don't believe I caught your name, and if we're all being put together it seems like the first thing to do would be introduce yourself."

Muroi |

Muroi stays quiet, looking what is going on around him. He opens wildly his eyes when sees the doll. It is for sure a very creepy looking doll, but at the same time it is fascinating. "So, is it Mr. Rypt? Nice to meet you." Then, Muroi, turns his sight to the person who takes the doll and ask "what´s your name?"
English is not my first language, however I´ll do my best. Thanks for let me play

A halfling decked in what looks to be piecemeal scale mail approaches the group mounted atop a saddled wolf. Seeing the group, he brightens, waving a mailed hand in the air in greeting. Stoping just outside of the circle, the armored halfling dismounts and says, "Hello there! I am Sancho, and this is Pip. It is good to see that the Swordlords had some sense to allow a group of us to take up this charter." Those familiar with the ways of wolves notice that this halfling's wolf is particularly well disciplined, laying down to rest as his rider talks. "Mind if I join you? I don't have much to offer, but I am willing to share what rations and water I have."

Rauno Kaln |

Seeing Nazdip's reaction, Sancho moves between Nazdip and Pip and cautiously responds with, "And I have yet to see a goblin that looks so much like one of my own kind. Besides he is not a pure bred wolf, but a hybrid. I assure you, while he does eat meat, he doesn't much like the taste of humanoid flesh."

GM Buggula |

Looks like we're just waiting on Odo.
Once everyone's here, I think I'd like to start with a bit of a prologue, before you've officially been given the charter (though you all already know about it and are on your way). So while I like your introductions here, you'll get the chance to do it for real in the game thread ;).

Terri Riverrun |

"Oh, forgive my rudeness. My name is Terri Riverrun."
Terri looks at the doll, with mixture of puzzlement and barely constrained mirth.
"My, he does look fearsome. He must knock all of the little pixies dead."
After Sancho shows up.
Terri turns to Nazdip.
"You haven't heard? When ever a halfling is riding wolf, it's the halfling you need to watch for."

Nazdip walks up to the podium, and tries to get the attention of the portly man. Failing, he turns, grabs his greatsword, and takes a huge overhead swing, striking at the podium.
"Now that I have your attention, WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE?"
He returns the sword to his back, and tries to catch his breath.
*golf clap*
You would have gotten along quite well with my halfling monk, Dric "The Quarter Orc" Ghawn.

Terri Riverrun |

Well between Nazdip and Terri I think we've got two out of three. I can totally see Terri break out into a jaunty tune about how her latest sneak attack target squeals like a little girl.
EDIT: I just realized that I've played with one of you guys before. Hey Dragonborn3, how's Enall doing.

Terri Riverrun |

Cool, I'm sad to see the game get put on hold, probably indefinitely, but still, I had fun and I'll probably keep the character around for something else.
And if we do happen to break out in a song and slay number, I'll be happy to have Lillith's accompaniment.

GM Buggula |

Odo, I don't see a CMD anywhere on your character sheet. Can you update that please?
Just as a heads up, I'll make as many rolls myself as I can to keep the game moving faster, including initiative, saving throws, knowledge (and many other skill) checks, etc. That way we avoid losing 2 days asking for a roll and then getting the result.
Any time you'd like to make a skill check, feel free to offer it and roll yourself, just note that I won't be asking for them.

Terri Riverrun |

Yep, and here I was hoping to get a good sneak attack in. Congrats on teh crit by the way.

Nazdip Stinkblade |

I'm trying to end up at the end of the round in charging distance of Lanky, so that's why I specified that 5' step. If the dog dies, then I will move to get within charge distance of Lanky, wherever he moves., more than a 5' step if necessary (don't want to take more than a 5' step if the dog is threatening me in melee). I also want to end up not adjascent to any allies so that my goblin foolhardiness kicks in. :)
Though actually, come to think of it, a charge can be a double move, so as long as I end up between 15 and 35' from Lanky I should be fine to charge next round.
Looks like we have 2 people with CLW and Lillith with stabilize (if it's prepared) so hopefully Terri will be okay.

Nazdip Stinkblade |

I figured it would make sense to play out my 'default' action in the gameplay, and talk about changes that would have to be made depending on the actions of others here, so that hopefully most possibilities are covered before GM finalizes the round.
I guess for AoO's we would probably normally just assume they get made, and from here on GM can just roll them for us in the summary with whatever weapon we're wielding at the time?

AdamWarnock |

Sorry guys (especially Terri) I had a bunch of nasty rolls.
No worries. Not the first time I've had a rogue be on the wrong end of a hard hitting attack. I'll spare you the gory details.

Loot distribution:
For the loot, a policy one group I'm in uses that is very fair and works really well:
When we get equipment drops, anybody who wants can use the stuff until we get a chance to sell our pending inventory.
Stuff like wands should get given to people who can use them for the team.
Other than that, once we get a chance to sell (which normally nets 50% of value), we:
1) Figure out what the whole lot would sell for
2) Anybody can 'buy' equipment from the group for the same sell rate of 50%.
To do this, they take the equipment and subtract the discounted cost from their money (or their share of the rest of the payout). So one person buying something from the inventory doesn't change the amount of gold everybody else would get, since they're just buying it for the same as what we would sell it for anyway.
So, in other words, whoever needs the current equipment can go ahead and start using it, and when we sell it off, they pay for it out of their share of the profits (or even gold in their pockets, if what they want to buy is larger than their share of the sale). That keeps things more fair for those who need to buy more exotic equipment and don't get what they need from drops.
