Background:

Odo Tealeaf, was looking bored to death, as the other druids of the enclave were discussing whom they would choose to be sent as their 'representative'. The enclave had enough influence to find out the plans of the swordlords of Rostland with which they were not happy to say at least: turning the wild, uninhabitable Lost Lands into civilized land would certainly have an impact on it's surroundings.

Odo smiled as he thought someone would have to be mad to volunteer to go to that god forsaken land. There would be no watering of the crops fee. No fee for healing the peasants. And let's not forget about the hordes of bandits, not to say he wasn't a bandit, using his powers to gather some 'donations' for his cause, but at least he didn't kill anyone.

As he kept his grin on thinking what he should buy for himself with the acquired fortune, he noticed more and more faces staring towards him. The wise druids decided to send him hoping that there he would also find the cure for his love of gold. The halfling's protests were in vain. They knew all about how he was using his druidic magic.

Odo's head lowered, deep down inside he loved nature in all it's forms and the druids of the enclave were like a family to him. In fact they were the only family he got left and a feeling of sadness swept over him as he seen his life in fast preview. He was given to the enclave as a child, his blood related family not having any way of feeding another member. The enclave took him and treated Odo as one of their own even though as time passed it was clear that he would not turn into a proper druid. He had an affinity for water magic, which was very useful around those parts yet he used it only for his own benefits but he would not go so far as to use it to harm helpless beings.

As he prepared for his long journey he wondered if he would survive and if yes would he would he be any different than before?
