hp is full for first level, and then either roll in the discussion thread OR take the average (rounded up) of your dice roll.

You will also all get a specific extra trait based on your actions in the scenario, a small bonus to help you survive the cruel, cruel world. ;)

They'll be posted later today as well - I have to clean my house!

I have played lots and lots of call of cthulhu, Im a GM in that game as well. and Sandy Peterson who write it is a mate of mine.

Now he says the and of any call of cthulhu game should be

We're in a regular port. That's why there are so many ships. That's what I gathered at least.


Half and half - you're in a port city, but there are even more ships than you would expect. I'll post the scenario update pretty soon, and you'll know. :)

Miria, you'll have to wait a while for your trait until I've seen your character in play, but as for the others...

Judge John, you gain the trait 'Eye for Detail' - it grants you a +1 bonus to perception checks, and you deal +2d6 damage on all attacks made against opponents who have had their weak points exposed (on top of the usual double damage dice allowed for such situations).

Roger, you gain 'Leap into Danger' - once per day, when you deal damage to an opponent, you can regain hit points equal to half of the damage dealt as a free immediate action, and you gain an inherent +1 bonus on all checks made to jump, leap or climb.

Jack, you gain 'Keen Sense of Loyalty' - you gain a +3 bonus to sense motive, and sense motive is always a class skill for you. In addition, you gain a +1 damage bonus on all melee attacks.

Sallrana, you gain 'Planar Disjunction' - you gain an additional 6PP, and choose two of your known powers - these powers can function normally even under the effects of an Antipsionic field.

Think of it as something of a buffer - you'll be receiving fewer magic items than usual, and the next time you level you'll be ale to suggest a way in which your trait evolves to fit the way you play your character.

On another note, I'm overshadowing the game ant I.

To much, Sallrana to little team, so I 'will' be toning it back from here, That Sallrana is not here, this ones not quite the same, she will be much more of a team player and a lot lets manipulative, there seems to be less coldness in her.

John is how ever 100% right, The Law works in the light, where as Intelligence works in the darkness. Its a cool point of contention but I don't what it to become a team barker.

I like the changing character thing... very cross dimensional, and a bit eerie :)

+1 BAB, +1 fort, +1 ref, +5HP, +1 discovery, +2 2nd level extracts, +6 skill points, + discovery (spontaneous healing), + keen sense of loyalty, +favoured(mutagen duration.)

A bunch of us are missing gear, right? Will there be any trouble replacing it?

Can I assume Jack replaces his mutagen and extracts?


You can - not to spoiler you, but you'll be able to go shopping quite son and there will be a list of extra gear and sundries available to choose from, so don't worry too much yet.

Actually, the john/shallrana tension is interesting, but we shouldn't hog the game. But poor john is in a world of chaos, and he's a bit out of sorts.

Yep I agree he dos, its way I said I'm dialling back Sallrana, let other have there time in the game. If John feels this can be done with how they sort there thing out, Im more than fine with that.

No problem Sallrana - I'll keep her meditative for the time being, and I'm sure she'll be able to find something private to do once you reach port to ensure you aren't dragged along on out-of-character adventure.
