"There are more ways than keys to open doors..." Slyph pulls out his Mwk Thieves tools.

Assuming no rush here taking 20 on Disable Device for a total of 33

Slyph falls short the lock is extremely complicated.

"Hm. That's an impressive lock!" Meg acknowledges after Slyph works on it to no avail. "May I try?" she asks. Once the way to the lock is clear, she pulls out a different scimitar than her golden, magical one: this one is heavier looking, and made of adamantine. She braces, then hacks at the lock until it falls off.

Adamantine automatically bypasses hardness of less than 20 (hint: pretty much everything has less than 20 hardness except adamantine). I assume that it's fairly small, so I'll be able to do enough damage to destroy it in a timely manner.

Normally? Such a stout door would be a nightmare to break down but the adamantine blade, while needing to wielded vigiously, get through the door.

You walk into an armoury.

In the armory, a PC can find one of any simple or martial weapon listed on Table 6–4 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook. No ammunition is present.

Such weapons may be used during the scenario, but does not count toward (or against) the total wealth cap for the scenario as presented on the Chronicle sheet.

A unique weapon hangs on the wall — a Large heavy mace called “Hell’s Gavel", given the label under it.

Hp 14/22 AC 22 / T 14 / FF 18 (+5 Perc; +3 Init; Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +1)

Omrax will detect evil on the weapons, especially the mace, motioning for others to stay back.

"Best not touch it. Could be cursed with the touch of evil . "

The weapon is not evil.

Meg confirms that the weapon is indeed not evil with Omrax. "Hm. I wonder what this weapon is? It looks important. As distasteful as putting 'Hell' in the weapon's name is, it is a gavel. Kind of. Which might mean that it's at least respectful in a court of law! Do any of you know if this is magical? Matteo, Ezren, Slyph?"

Meg puts away her adamantine scimitar and admires the plethora of weaponry in the room. While one of the mages examines "Hell's Gavel" (at least, she assumes that they will--she asked them nicely after all!), she inspects the collection of pole-arms, feeling out the weight of a glaive.

The iron rungs descend from a vertical shaft and continue all the way to the floor, leading into a clear pool filling the bottom 10 feet of the room. The chamber’s walls depict Asmodeus in all manner of triumph. A stone stair rises from the pool to a dais on the room’s eastern end, where several dark robes hang on hooks. An ornate double door in the east wall provides the only visible egress from the chamber.

Seeing the darkness below he retrieves a burning stone from his belt pouch, the Ioun torch quickly darts into he air and slowly spins around the Elf's head. He checks his bandoleer to confirm a potion of dark-vision is at hand just in case.

Anticipating more danger he drinks his mutagen and transforms into a much leaner man, all tight muscle and sunken eyes. His hair looks greasy and stringy, clumps of it seeming to receded or fall off entirely.

You descend into the cold water which is about 6 feet deep at the far end and growing shallower closer to the 'shore'. A cistern of sorts drains into the pool on the left hand wall.

You climb out of the water. The robes all appear unremarkable, and they
smell musty, having been out of use for decades. They can be used as rough towels if you want.

Map still down but will fix shortly...

The double doors lead out to a 10ft wide corridor, which is blocked midway by a heavy iron portcullis.

A wide 10ft corridor with stairs down branches off this one before the portcullis and a more narrow one after and beyond the portcullis.

Over the wide corridor, about 20 feet down to about half its length is a balcony.

"Hm," Meg muses, wringing out the end of her long dress. "Should we go around the big iron gate thingy? Or just go through?" she asks, drawing the adamantine scimitar from its sheath once more.

It sounds like that mace could be pretty handy! Best used by Omrax, although, is there something in your Iomedaen code about only using a longsword, or anything like that?
