The Missile of force doesn't even seem to dent the hard metal shell of the creature.
The machine strains and the sound of metal grinding fills the room, for now it seems stuck in place. A crossbow mounted on it's shoulder fires at the gnome.

I think Marin should have taken the dagger. Both Elrum and me are probably better fighters, but we have two-handed weapons so we can make a dent on creatures with DR. Marin can use Weapon Finesse with the dagger and make a decent amount of damage with it.

@Van you've never sen the like of the machine clearly a robot, you recal two facts about it from your tinkering and studies.
@Vailis normally you would be correct, but with the robot subtype it can only be identified with Knowledge(engineering) and without the technologist feat you would be considered untrained.

Seeing that Van is up and moving again, Marin draws the adamantine dagger she was given and runs towards the combat, ready to fight.

"Thanks for healing me, you're a real life saver." Van says with gratitude to Marin, before moving over to the robot and examining it, "Wow, this is really amazing, I didn't think there was anything like this outside of Numeria. I'll have to come back here later and really do some digging, I wish there was some way to haul this thing back to my shop right now."

Vailis picks up the crossbow and the bolds, and makes a quick search of the room just in case.

"Let's go north?" Vailis and Eidi gets to the northern door waiting for the rest of the party to decide.

"Yeah, I guess you cats are right. I'll have to spend more time on this later." Van reluctantly agrees, his voice distracted as he forces himself away from the construct to follow the group into the next area.

Twice as wide as it is long, this large, oval chamber is illuminated with a murky radiance by dimly glowing overhead crystals. The room is bare of furnishings, just an open space with a dozen semicircular alcoves around the perimeter. Mechanical horrors identical to those outside occupy a number of these alcoves, but none of the automatons seem active, and some have even fallen over. A door stands in the center of the northern wall.

"Wow...just wow." The gnome says with wonder as he looks around all the robots in the chamber, but then reality sets in, "If any of these turn on, we need to flee, quickly."

"We have to cross anyway. Waiting here doesn't help us in any way. Eidi, explore the perimeter, be stealthy." Says the half-elf sheading his spear, holding his enlarge wand and cure wands.
Vailis makes a count of how many robots are still complete while Eidi scouts the right perimeter.

Nothing interferes with your cautious trek across the room. Beyond the door a flight of metal stairs descends through a corridor sheathed in the same brick-red metal. The corridor seems in better repair than most, with no missing panels and functional overhead lighting. The stairs end at a door to the north, while two narrow arches open on either side of the hall.
Entering the room you find two figures, a strange looking man, and a woman. They wear similar armor and weapon to the bodies you found earlier.
"You there!, Stay back or I'll shoot! Whats going on what are those metal things?

"I'm a little fragile, mind using that wand on me again, Marin?" Van requests politely.

Moving into the next room with the others, he's genuinely surprised by the aggressive duo, "Whoa, whoa! What are you guys doing here? How did you get passed the killer robot? Are you the guys who ruined the Pathfinder obstacle course?"

Marin sheathes her dagger and holds her hands up, to indicate she means no hostility. At least not immediately. She turns towards Vailis and Elrum and listens to their warnings, waiting and seeing how the thugs react.

Meleren and Shechera initially seem belligerent the bandits’ injuries and inferior numbers makes their threats a weak bluff.
As the challenge designers left the dungeon, they were spotted by a bandit gang called the Blood-Red Raiders camped in the upper ruins. Assuming the Pathfinders were rival bandits hiding loot, the Raiders made their way in and went through the obstacle course—which is when things went very wrong.
As they reached the last room a hidden door opened spilling out the fearsome metal machine that slaughtered the other raiders. The two made it a head and hid here.
