Searching the bodies, you find that Mr. Sussworth has (amongst his other gear), three sealed letters in his vest pocket. Cracking them open, they are written in the common Taldan, and address even more of these false Shadow Pathfinders, giving details and hints as to locations and names. You decide to leave a little surprise for any lingering ShadowFinders that might return, and open that last door holding the scorpion as you leave. With their headquarters now empty, and with a great deal on intel on these upstarts that would dare sully the Shadw Lodge’s name!!!, you present your evidence to the Ardoc family, as well as the shadow leaders of the city, clearing the Pathfinder’s name, and erasing your “debt”.
Deciding to stay a few more dimly lit days, you partake of all the city has to offer, but soon receive word that you are needed back at the Grand Lodge, and your transport is ready. Venture-Captain Drandle Dreg along with one of the Society’s mages appear before you the next morning, having traveled the pathways of magic, come to take you home. Upon your return, you are greeted as heroes. Initiates raise wine glass and mug, forming a gauntlet for you to walk through in the same way that knighthoods raise swords. A sign of respect. <or they just want a better glance at Kryssa. . .>
VC Dreng leads you to his office for a debriefing, and you show him all of the evidence you have uncovered, as well as give details of your exploits. All of which he promises will make it into the next Chronicles.
Dear Caggrigar,
The mission in Kaer Maga is proceeding as ordered, though Absalom has seen fit to send Pathfinders here to look into our presence. One of my lieutenants, that fool bard if you must know, murdered Collgardie too late—the old man sent a letter to Dreng and now we’re hip-deep in Pathfinder entanglements. As you well know, this is a difficult city for murder and mayhem— killing the wrong person at the wrong time with the wrong tool
can result in a blood feud or, worse, your expulsion from the city.
We are not popular here anymore. I humbly ask that we scrap this part of the plan and try to establish our headquarters in Whitethrone instead. It’s farther from Absalom than Kaer Maga and I know of no one there that the Society counts as a loyal agent.
Humbly Yours,
Kormiggon Sussworth
Kaer Maga Lodge
Dear Hondo Heru,
I never believed that your ancient Osirian technique for acquiring a tribe of pet goblins would work—but I must now eat my words, dearest Hondo, and tell you that it did. No matter what you hear about my mission here, know that the goblin trick worked.
Sincerely,
Kormiggon Sussworth
Kaer Maga Lodge
Dear Dorianna Ouidda,
What news from Almas? It’s been many months since your last letter and I admit that I’m growing worried that you were found out. Is your disguise still intact? Do you need assistance? Any word from you would be gratefully appreciated.
Sincerely Yours,
Kormiggon Sussworth
Kaer Maga Lodge

Anyone interested in another game in a day or two? It's not going to be a gameday event, but now that I've begun to finish most of my games, I'll have the opportunity to start devoting more RP to them and personalize the games a bit more. Let me know if you got your Chronicle, and also if there is anything I need to fix, and once I hear from everyone, I'll go ahead and shut this one down. If people are interested in a new game, we can talk about what, and I'll post a link to it before I close this one down.

![]() |

I'd love another game, though my list of available scenarios grows thin. I'll be 3rd level now and there are a number of 3-7 scenarios I haven't played yet. I think.

![]() |

Kryssa, exhausted from the fight, sheds a single tear for her cut chaps. She kicks the corpse of Mr. Sussworth on her way out.
One more after this and I'll hit 3. I'm willing to play up if we want to do 3-7 stuff.

![]() |

The main issue with 3-7 is that all players have to be able to fit within the Tier. It would have to be a 1-5th so that Kryssa, Sam, and Umaro (if they want to) can play. Once they hit level 3, that's not a problem. That also knocks out Mudules, because everyone has to be within 1 level of the Module
Are there any 1-5s you can/will do?
Here's a list of what I'd like to run, but I don't mind running something I already have if players want it.
PFS 0 - 02 The Hydra's Fang Incident (1-5)
PFS 0 - 03 Murder on the Silken Caravan (1-5)
PFS 0 - 08 Slave Pits of Absalom (1-5)
PFS 0 - 13 The Prince of Augustana (1-5)
PFS 0 - 17 Perils of the Pirate Pact (1-7)
PFS 0 - 23 Tide of Morning (1-5)
PFS 1 - 01 The Devil We Know - Part I - Shipyard Rats (1-7)
PFS 1 - 02 The Devil We Know, Part II - Cassomir's Locker (1-7)
PFS 1 - 09 The Beggar's Pearl (1-7)
PFS 1 - 13 The Devil We Known, Part III - Crypt of Fools (1-7)
PFS 1 - 15 The Pallid Plague (1-7)
PFS 1 - 17 Delirium's Tangle (1-5)
PFS 1 - 19 The Darkest Vengeance (1-5)
PFS 1 - 20 The Devil We Know, Part IV - Rules of the Swift (1-7)
PFS 1 - 27 The Infernal Vault (1-7)
PFS 2 - 13 Murder on the Throaty Mermaid (1-5) not sure if it would work will in PbP
PFS 2 - 21 The Dalsine Affair (1-7) awesome, even chap-tastic
PFS 2 - 23 Shadow's Last Stand—Part I At Shadow's Door (1-7)

Ok, let me hear from the others and check those out a little.
Shadow's Last Stand might actually work fairly well for continuation of the metaplot.

![]() |

Wow we're done, is it me or did this one really seem to go fast?
Well I haven't done any of those adventures. And this one will put Umaro at lvl 2. I'm up for doing one that continues this plot or is linked to it some way.

![]() |

Unfortunatly I will not continue with the group. I streched myself too thin with the gameday event. Now that most of those games are coming to an end I need to cut back on my pbps a little. So Sam will be shelved for a while. Wish you guys good luck, it has being a lot of fun.

![]() |

Kryssa, I didnt find you annoying at all, but Frostfur is kind of an odd one to run. Oddly, Im pretty sure these where the goblins that you escort in that one.

![]() |

I've created a Recruitment Thread for Shadow's Last Stand. Feel free to head over there and dot.

![]() |

Yeah, Kryssa. I quiet enjoyed adventuring with you. Hope to do more soon.

I just had to share from another game.
?"I'm right here." :P
Sorry, in our other campaign your bad guy cut my chaps. I love my chaps.
Sorry, in our other campaign your bad guy cut my chaps. I love my chaps.
Everyone else got a nice, um, um, morale boost, yah that's it, and you got a little more incentive to kick butt. Sounds like a win/win to me. :P
Uh-huh.... ;)

They are an article of clothing. Sort of leather leg armor, though with her character's faith, I'm sure they have more adult uses.

![]() |

As far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong), they're a covering for the legs, usually made from leather. They don't cover everything, they normally go over other pants. But I'm not entirely certain.

![]() |

That's correct. They where originally worn by ranchers and cattle herders as a means to protect the legs against thorns and brush as they rode. In the US, there is a culture that likes country music and dresses like cowboys, so they tend to wear chaps as more of a fashion statement. Motorcyclists also commonly wear them, both as a sort of protection from crashes and extra padding against the motorcycle's heat and long rides. Then there is also the dominatrix community that wear them more for the mage and to be in full body leather.

Whatever, I knew you where a cowgirl. :)
