Woohoo encounter start!

I will have my post up in a few hours. Yesterday was my son's 1st birthday party and I'm taking my dad to the airport shortly. So you will hear from me upon my return!

All we need from you is initiative right now and we can move forward.

Aww darn, one higher on the Init and I'd be able to bomb the hyenas in a group.

Question: how strict are we going to be with initiative? Exact order, before and after enemies, or just post in general?

For the purposes of this encounter, we'll be going in exact order. If it starts to become a problem, I'll change it.

Hey guys... just to let you know. I got into a vehicle pursuit today while at work which then turned into a foot pursuit. I banged up my knee pretty badly and now have a ton of paperwork. You can either give me a few hours to get a post in or just bot Aeron this round if you need to.

The hyenas go before me so how did I come to them and why did one get a crit? Also, if I am going first for some reason then the hyenas don't get dex to cmd which I am probably grappling.

Sorry about the confusion, everyone. Raed posted out of order, and it threw me off. Today was unexpectedly crazy busy, and I'm heading to bed. I'll get everything clarified after work tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. :-)

@Everyone: I really apologize for the multi-day delay. My wife and I are sorting through a major life development, and there's been no time to do so much as turn on my computer. I promise that nothing bad's going on, relationship-wise; it's more of an unexpected health issue thing. I have some stuff going on tomorrow, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things in the next day or two. Thanks for your patience, and don't worry: I'm not going anywhere. :-)

Sorry everyone, we're still dealing with my wife's health issue, and I've been at work. To keep this from getting bogged down, let's just do the "party goes, then monsters, then party, etc" thing.

Excellent show benevolent dictator! Thanks for running this encounter. This was fun and simple, makes me think I might want to try me hand at running one.

Not a problem! Pathfinder Encounters is designed around a single elaborate encounter with some kind of 'shtick'. This one had a slight puzzle element. My last one introduced randomness by taking place inside a Primal Magic storm. Others have involved Darkness and/or Climb rules. If you need advice/assistance whenever you give GMing a shot, just shoot me a PM. :-)
