I've always liked Sci-fi, so it has my full attention. I wonder if the little Ad blurb is hinting at the more exotic races will be core this time? Core Android's sound perfectly fitting.

Honestly, after the Ultimate Campaign blog that overpromised a cool option("you can play a kid wizard!" Actual Rules: No you can't. At all.) I wouldn't trust the Starfinder blog.
Slowly loosing trust in Paizo as a whole anyway. Too many slash-and-burn erratas...

I'm interested in it, love mixing sci-fi and fantasy together and I'm really looking forward to the lore behind what happened.
It'll give me the interesting option of opening up a Star Wars campaign using either the Saga Edition books or a tweaked version of Starfinder, that's fer sure. Lot's to consider.
I gotta ask: What am I gonna be able to use these craft tech/advanced weaponry skills for? Like, examples? I'm also curious what that Inventor feat is gonna do. Mostly curious cause yaknow. I wanna know if those things are gonna be worth the trade-off compared to some other things I could use instead.
Being an inventor, I assumed that you would be able to 'invent' something. As long as it's plausible within a realm of magic, I'm fine with it.
Inventor
Preq: Int 17, Knowledge, (Engineering) 5,
Allows player to craft and modify advanced, even futuristic/ revolutionary technology using the craft skill, along with upgrading ordinary weapons with advanced tech.
In addition, the Inventor may go through a (vaguely GM-defined) crafting process to craft tech which is, for all intents and purposes, a magical item, without the magic, using solely your technological brilliance.

So, as an example, I could create a brain-microchip or something, that would operate and cost similarly to an Intelligence headband? I'd likely try to find time to retrain Craft Wonderous Item in this case. There are a few specific ideas I'd like to run by you as well (In PM's if you prefer).

Exactly. Or, say, a plasma blade that functions as a blade of fire. A Cryo bolter that functions as a Crossbow of Cold, or anything you can plausibly explain.

Actually, if Skjor was to, gods forbid, ever die, I was thinking about making a Bleachling gnome druid as my next character.
Hi again! I dunno about you, but I for one welcome our new Formian overlords.
I did have an intensely amusing idea for an X-treme sports star Aerokineticist. You have any idea how much sick air time you can get on a board when you can make it fly/style all on its own without pesky "Spell slots" in the way?

When I first got the playtest for the Occult classes, and saw the kineticist, my first thought was to make a kid telekinetic who used his telekinetic blast with a bag of marbles he kept on him.
There's a weaker version? This is the thing I can't stand about the Kineticist. Doesn't matter what source I use, it's an atrocious slog to read through. I love the concept, hate the format.

It's a function of the telekinetic blast, where you basically use the telekinesis to perform a thrown weapon attack, instead of a blast attack. Use Con instead of Str for throwing, and use the object's base damage instead of blast damage.
Male Fighter Aasimar Skald(Herald of the Horn) 3 | HP [23/23] | AC 16, FF 14, T 12 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +4 | Init +2 | Darkvision 60', Perception +6 | Raging Song [16/16]
You could probably say it's a ranged version of the Dirty Trick maneuver.
Alright, so, nuts to my last idea. Hear me out on this one. New back-up idea is a mounted summoner, with a lance, that whole shebang. And his Eidolon is a living motorcycle which he rides!

Take a look at the Ghost Rider archetype from the Occult Adventures book.
Everyone does. Everyone wants virbro-weapons. As a veteran Star Wars d20 GM, I can attest to that.
Speaking of which, with the coming of Starfinder, how easy do you think it will be to play a Jedi/Sith? So far I've been imagining them as Magi, but I have a feeling Paizo will throw us a bone with some sort of 'Psychic Knight' Class.
The dev team would be remiss without some type of "not-force." Though, I think we'll get a Monk archetype, or even an alternate class before a new one for jedi.

I'm gonna guess maybe a new psychic-magic class, or an archetype for psychic.

Just the telekineticists. Anything else are Sith and should be destroyed.

Even the time the Force told a Jedi it was okay to use Force Lightning? Or the race don't have Light/Dark Side Force and instead have powers based on their emotions? :p

I've always believed in the living force, and that it is the individual that gives it the light/dark aspect.
from my understanding of the force the light side is about order and the dark side about emotion neither are inherently good or bad . jedi and sith that's a different story, but those are just specific groups
