My family always makes both, we could never choose between the two.

Thank you Devic. Just... thank you.

I'm legitimately unsure of what to do, but I find this funny

?

This is exactly the kind of innuendo I've grown to expect from any game I'm a part of. It's glorious.

Male Human Time thief 5 Int +7, Senses perception +9, AC 21, touch 15, flat-footed 16, HP 32/34, Fort +2, reflex +9, Will +5

I'm glad you enjoy it

Dirty Commoner/2 || HP: 0/0, AC: 10 (10, active buff) (FF: 10 [10 w/active buff] T: 10) || Init: +0, Fort: +0 Ref: +0 Will: +0 || Per: +0

If it helps, I enjoy it too.

I suggest either:

1. In so many words, saying "look, a distraction!" and moving peoples attention.

2. Following the advice of the great sage Shia LeBeouf.

3. Stalling for a few posts until Devic gets bored and asks more about the rooms.

Female Ratfolk ???

I was looking at this again, and I somehow missed the silencer on it the first time. How would one of those play into things? Would it be like a mundane Oil of Silence? RL silencers are a bit misnamed, but "quite a bit quieter" doesn't have the same ring to it. How much would it cost to build one as well?

Male Human Time thief 5 Int +7, Senses perception +9, AC 21, touch 15, flat-footed 16, HP 32/34, Fort +2, reflex +9, Will +5

I forgot about that thing but it still makes me chuckle

with all the russian flying around

What language do we think abyssal would translate into?

Male Human Time thief 5 Int +7, Senses perception +9, AC 21, touch 15, flat-footed 16, HP 32/34, Fort +2, reflex +9, Will +5

I don't think we can make the language of litteraly demons, any real Languages without insulting someone...

French...

I know at least one german guy who would think it was hilarious to use the language of his people to instill fear in our enemies.

EDIT: I may have not realized Ratfolk isn't a language.

My, this is a conundrum.
Perhaps the black speech of morder for Abyssal? :)
No idea what to do with Ratfolk, though.

Just wondering about Sylvan and Aklo myself. If nobody's using Elven, that could work.

Abyssal is Klingon.

Well, when I say Ratfolk, I mean that it doesn't seem to be a language at all. Ratfolk are listed as starting with just common. No racial language existent.

Since I'm more of a Star Wars guy, can goblin be the Jawa language? Named, er, Jawaese, apparently?

That was actually really funny, made me laugh in the middle of class.

A bit of artwork on another site has inspired a character pair for this game. Or, rather, the name of the art. >.>

Ehh, do share? Or do we not want to know? Warning: I will want to know more than ever if the latter is true.

?

I wanna know! I wanna know!

Sorry, not saying anything since A) I've got Rameil and B) we aren't 7th level. Though in theory I don't really need B...

?

Aww... and here I was planning an extended campaign making use of all the most unique bestiary monsters. I'll never know... unless you want to send you friendly neighborhood gm a pm... :)

Looks like %th level I could pull it off. >.>

?

You're just deliberately toying with me now, aren't you?

Yup. Let's see... Yup, Shifter and Catfolk would be cool for this...

3 headed Sharkraken...that is all

Nightmare dragons are great for a group of PCs of mine in another play byb post. As a weapon.

Also, I have to say that I'm now kind of disappointed in Pathfinder bugbears. The comic Skin Deep did such a good job with their design, abilities, and background that the Pathfinder version just isn't as cool.

Thats... pretty cool. Although Pathfinder picked a type of goblin to focus on. Just the small goofy ones.

Yeah, hard to beat that.

They are now my model for what Skinwalkers look like…

Spent my night teaching an online friend how to play Pathfinder while also playing other rpg stuff.

He too down three goblins, scared a bunch of marsh deer when he missed them with his arrows, took down a marshclaw(fresh water reefclaw) with three arrows(five if we count the two times he miss), and over all had a great time. He mentioned he was going to ask his college gaming club if anyone played pathfinder there. I had a lot of fun DMing the mini adventure too.

All in all, this was a great night! (^-^)

Good for you and him. Now, sonce he's still new, this is prime time to mess with him a little. If you have the fifth Bestiary (I don't yet, luckily for you, but soon, bwahaha) throw an Akaname at him. In Japanese mythology, they lick the floors of bathrooms. If it is true that adversity builds character, that monster will make him the best pathfinder player ever.

Male Human Time thief 5 Int +7, Senses perception +9, AC 21, touch 15, flat-footed 16, HP 32/34, Fort +2, reflex +9, Will +5

...gross

?

Exactly. Imagine being a new player with that being thrown at you.

And then being told the developers didn't make it up to be weird. That things names reminds me of a character from BlazBlue. It's on the tip of my tongue but if I use the internet, I'll feel like I couldn't figure it out on my own.

Edit: Where does one find alchemical doo-dads in New York? Run-down shack in Chinatown? Devics apartment, but still "paying for them to be fair? The guy behind the dumpster just outside that same apartment building?

Arakune. Blazblue is one of my favorite games. Don't use that particular character too much, though.
Legit items may be found at certain specialty shops. More under-the-table alchemy has to be sought out on the streets.

Any of those specialty shops open 24/7? I'd like to buy a few things from one.

?

Go ahead. Tell me what you're looking for and I'll see if we have it in stock.

Do you wanna name the place, or should I? I tend to come up with, uh. Well they aren't exactly good names, but they're memorable.

Male Human Elementalist(Electrokinetic Archetype) 4, Current HP: 39

I think one of the better parts was he gave me something to work with by describing a generic landmark as "a tree so gross and twisted it made bile rise in the back of his throat", thus describing his characters reaction and adding to the game. He got worried when the next one I described as a rock surrounded by black mud that just smelled wrong. Like rotted meat.

I mentioned earlier that Sleep doesn't work without a map (or at the very least it slows things down way too much). If it's all right, I'll be switching it out for Command instead.

Just letting everybody know that this week until next Monday will be very sporadic for me. Putting in a lot more hours at work and family is coming in for an early Christmas gathering. Probably won't be able to post much, especially since for some reason my phone has trouble connecting to the internet at work.

Well, good luck with the inevitable Mass Christmas Panic.

?

Gonna be a little chaotic, too. What with all the Christmas, friends, family, and Star Wars.

Female Ratfolk ???

Devic's gonna have some trouble with "bushy-tailed" but I'll see what I can do about "bright-eyed."

So, if there aren't any posts in the next couple days, I'll just go by the standard prices for these things so we can get underway when everyone's ready.
