Level Fours:

Want to have a bit of fun and do a three way battle? ;-P

------------------------------------------------------

Remember when you start, give a description, posture a bit if you want to, play to the crowd, Roll initiative in a spoiler and post just the results in OOC.

Once you determine who is going first, you each have surprise round actions. Then you go to normal round by round combat. For ease, if spellcasting put what spell it is in a spoiler with the spellcraft DC for the other person to identify it if they are able to.

Post all actions either in a spoiler that is titled "Arbiter" or if you must you can PM it to the Arbiters but PM it to all of the arbiters so that we each know what you are doing. It makes it more difficult but I prefer just putting it in the spoiler and using the honor system for the other person not to look.

Let me know if anyone has any questions. Also if there is a question about a rule or an arbiter is needed. Post it in this discussion thread and one of us will help.

GOOD LUCK AND MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!

samurai jack head over to his appointed arena

Scarab Sages

Bruno would be interested in a three way. We can test to see if that kind of thing works or falls all to pieces.
For instance, where does guy 3 enter the arena?

Stonefist Heavyhand
I imagine guy #3 has to start dead center and automatically go last? ^u^
He would probably have to start at the far left/right side of the field, I doubt that this would be much of an issue balance wise.

DM how do we know when our next duel is up? we get pm'ed or it is announced here?

Samurai, if you're accepting my challenge, I can set it up. New matches are posted in the discussion thread.

Re: the three way--Id do one lower left, one lower right, one upper middle.

This looks interesting, are you still taking members?

Yes we do.:)

Funfun~ It's Kobold time~ Only thing I don't see is the necessary character sheet layout, anyone have a copy they can mail me?

Sure thing--Just go to the campaign info tab, click the spoiler for "creating a character", and that tells you all of the guidelines for character creation. Within that long spoiler, go to the section called "character submissions" (I think) and there is a link to the character template. When you have the character created correctly in that template, PM it to me and/or Immortal and when it's checked out you can participate in the next round of randomizations.

Good evening chaps, I look forwards to your challenges with open talons.

Silver Crusade

Still looking for combatants? I've got a Tiefling Paladin Concept I'd love to try out.

Yep, we are always accepting new members. Unfortunately, Tieflings are banned--check out the character creation guidelines in the campaign info tab.

Silver Crusade

no problem.

I'm make something else :D

This is P33J.

Shariff is a Human Gendarme Cavalier, riding his trusty Camel, Humpty.

My sheet is in my profile, let me know when I can have a match.

Two Camel riders...... Camel battle~

Sharrif, you don't need to put your sheet in your profile nor let people know what your build is. You just need to PM it to either myself or Mbauers. Otherwise people will get an unfair advantage where they know your build but you dont know theirs.

Huh? Wha-! 'Nother camel rider! Blasphemy 'n' Shame! I'll have yer head on me lance, buddy! And I'll parade around with it too!

Esmeralda the Death Camel just bares her teeth. Her filed-to-a-point maw of death. And she did that piece of dentistry herself by the way. Not even Bruno knows how, but there you have it, starring you in the face.

Dark Archive

I'd submit a character if you are still accepting fresh meat.

We are always looking for new victi....I mean mighty warriors! ;-) Go to the campaign info tab for character building info. Once done submit to myself or Arbiter Mbauers.

Silver Crusade

Sorry I didn't realize there was already a Cavalier of sorts.

I'm going to rethink my gladiator. Will keep the same profile.

Scarab Sages

That is completely unneccary. Build what you will. Make shameless ripoffs, go crazy and make a monk/bard who wields insults as weapons. Any attempt on your life in genuine, any besmirching of your honor is all in good fun. :P

Dark Archive

If you are still accepting characters, I have a couple of builds I would be highly interested in trying out. I reworked them a bit to fit the build restrictions, but I think they should be somewhat competitive (or at least entertaining).

Scarab Sages

always good to have new characters and players involved. :)

I just saw this, and I'm definitely going to submit a gladiator. But is it really necessary to spoiler all the dice rolls? What advantage does that give? Especially if you are then writing the results in ooc?

Is there some kind of leaderboard? What's the point in winning if no one can see your build and who is the best?

I'll be making a gladiator tonight/tomorrow. Won't be the most optimized gladiator, but it should be fun, :D

Jelani: in my opinion, it serves to prevent people from knowing your bonuses and stats. Hit to a 22 means a lot less to someone that I rolled an 8 with a +14 to hit.

Yeah, that makes sense I guess Mezegis.

I can't decide between two potential builds so I'm going to make them both and fight them a few times on my own to see who wins :P Then I'll submit the winner.

The Exchange

Just wanted to thank you for the theorycrafting session I just went through while thinking for a character for this arena. I probably won't submit anything, but boy oh boy was it fun making something up.

Submit it, The more the merrier~ I also can't wait till lvl 4 so I can submit my Oracle that I premade~

Arbiters Mbauers, Smug, and Choon:
Got DM Jelani's Character submission. Looking it over now. I will post it soon to the character repository.

I'll make an alias for her once she's approved. Hope I did everything correctly according to your rules.

Arbiters Mbauers, Smug, and Choon:
Have looked at DM Jelani's character. Please look as well if you wish to make sure I didn't miss anything as I'm still on pain meds from a messed up tooth so I may have missed something.

DM Jelani, I PM'd you with a couple of questions, then you should be good.

Is this alias sufficient to get into the fights? Do I need to add anything else?

Everything looks good to me. You will be in the next round of randomizations, or you can challenge someone. Welcome aboard!

Ok, here is the alias I will us for the pit. Immortal said the build looked like it checked out, so yay! Granted, my concept may be a total flop, but I suppose that is half of the fun of trying out munchkin/experimental builds.

~Sersi

Mezegis' character has been submitted.

This is it's alias. Crunch done, and rough background completed, just not written up.

Hmm...I think I might finally jump back in on this...Gnasher v2.0 could use to sink his teeth into something or someone.

I have a character ready for verification: where do I send it?

I am Torivor's character's alias. My crunch has been submitted, but not background. Waiting for verification.

None of the last round's fights have been closed out yet, and there hasn't been any arbiter activity in some time. You're probably out of luck man, I'm not sure this is still going on.

Hmm, I skimmed through some of the arenas and the most recent post I saw was only 2 days old I think, but it wasn't an arbiter...

Let's give the arbiters another few days, and if they don't respond by then go from there. In the meantime:

ROLL CALL!!! Who all in this thing is still active?

Im still here
