Your holy sword slashes through the unknown entity and it's screams utterly horrifying scream as the horse rears back in pain. Dark energies coalesced around it momentarily as the being dissipates to nothing more. A short-lived silence befall the immediate vicinity of the forest before a sourceless voice, seemingly unfazed, returns once more.
"A petty trick that shall not work twice! Holy man!"
And with that the squeal of a horse echoes through the woods and that is nearby but you must also Venture farther inward. Doing so will lead you to an opening where the moon shines through the foliage. The site in front of you is that of a humanoid skeleton staked to a large maple. Beyond that the moon lights up a road that is noticeable beyond a patch of trees not 20 feet away from this skeleton. There on the road in all its glory is The Horseman.
