A dark complexion man enters the bar. He looks around seemingly in wonder as he pulls out a small letter. He holds up the letter to the light and looks to the bar. Quickly he steps up to Don Carnauj.
"I have been looking for you Carnauj."
Don sets down his jug and gives a half look at Avdol.
"And to what do I owe this extreme displeasure?"
Avdol raises the letter he was looking at previously so Don may read it. Dons eyes go wide and he quickly grabs the letter.
"You supposed to pay me." Avdol says in a monotone voice.
Don grunts and shoves his jug that's about half full by this point into Avdol's chest and quickly leaves the bar.
Avdol regains his balance and smirks. "Well I guess that will have to do."
He sits in Don's seat and proceeds to drink from the jug.

Let me know if I'm too late to apply. Made this Alchemist originally for a campaign that never got start and have been itching to try it out. taking average gold.
Lys (as her friends are allowed to call her) enters just as Don is hurrying from the tavern. As she moves out of the way of the orc she quickly feels her pouch to make sure nothing valuable, or explosive has fallen out. She then takes a quick look around the bar and spots her companions. Instantly knows why the orc left the bar in such a hurry, based on Avdol's grin and nearly finished drink. Twirling a finger in her lavender hair she asks.
"Collecting on debts Avdol? You know he is good for it."
She approaches the bar
"Goodsir I'll take whatever the orc was drinking. Now then who knows a good bar game or riddle?

Avdol |

"Not a debt, just delivering a letter. But if you want a riddle I got one for you."
Avdol takes a long drink and then continues.
"There once was a king, the king had twin sons. When the king got older he needed to decide his successor. He couldn't bring himself to decide between his twin sons. So he decided to make a contest. They were to ride out on their camels to the next city. Whosevers camel made it there last would become the new king. The twins agreed and the next morning set out on there journey.
Of course, neither were in a hurry because they had to be last. They roamed the desert for weeks until they happened upon a old wise man's hut. They took refuge inside and explained their predicament. The wise man said two words and the twins immediately left the hut hopped on the camels and raced as fast as they could to the city. What were the two words the wise man said?"
"No one else answer, I want to see if she can get it."

As Lys contemplates the riddle she stares into her newly arrived drink. She finds a solution. After taking a long drink of the mead(to make it seem like she had took longer), she looks back up at Avdol. She begins to twirl her hair around her fingers.
"Hmmmm, I'm finding issue getting down to two words. It's about the camels. The brothers switch camels, and are now racing. If brother A enters the city first on the other brother's camel his original camel is instantly the last camel. Something along the lines of 'trade camels'.
When she finishes Lys takes another drink of mead and looks around to see what the others think. Settles on Avdol and raises her eyebrow.

While you sit there enjoying one another's company and of course the beverage and food, the sound of a scuffle averts your attention towards the door. In an instant an old figure comes barreling through the door, landing on his back and spouting Non sense of "The end" of the era.
"Peace has expired in our time! Soon tyranny will wash over this and all lands like a plague. Death will be a gift compared to the endless torture set in store for us all!!!
As if gravitated towards the party after a short time, the man begs you heed his warning. In the same moment his pursuers enter the bar ass well. Desperate to spread this nonsense he begins again, standing up, but is cut short. A semi-violent earth-sized shudder in the form of what is believed to be an earthquake causes all standing to start loosing their balance. The old ma falls again, this time hitting his head off of a table and falling to the floor. Moments pass before the tremors stop. The bar was filled with screams of terror up until the earthquake abruptly stopping. The old man looks to each of you and says clearly enough so all can hear, and the bar goes/stays silent until after he finishes...
First the statues will begin to crumble one by one,
Second, the earth will shudder
Third, the gates will open to all...
Should that happen, many will be doomed"
About a week has passed since then and those in the party have begun traveling north as the old man had suggested.
Thus, those of you that have been chosen please continue in the Game play tab. For now that post comes into play and I will be more than happy to answer any questions. Thank you again, happy hunting!!!
