Caster =1: 1d4 ⇒ 1
@Jake, Nat 19 is a crit threat with a greatsword.
You can roll to confirm or I can do it for you in the (my) morning.
Manius changes direction in the water like a hellfish scenting blood and torpedoes back towards the fire mage.
With his quarry *ahem* flushed out of the pocket, Jake blitzes the Patriotic leader on offense.
Initiative:
1. Steve, Omar, Abraxi, Manius, Dave, Jake
2. Blue Caster
Jake: NOT blinded
Manius: -10 hp
Olandril: -10 hp
Abraxi + Dave! Jake may roll to confirm the crit. (Your blade hit)

Whoops, sorry...
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
Assuming that hits...
Crit Dam: 2d6 + 4 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 4 + 4 + 6 = 18
I also think I missed the opportunity to use Greater Cleave. May I do so with the other images? If so...
Cleave Att: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 12 - 2 = 16
Cleave Dam: 2d6 + 4 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 4 + 4 + 6 = 21
Assuming that hits...
Greater Cleave Att: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 2 = 19
Greater Cleave Dam: 2d6 + 4 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 4 + 6 = 22

Delaying Steve
The arcanist raises an eyebrow at Dave’s comment. “I like you just fine. You can take it as well as give it – which is getting rarer these days.”
“In fact, I like you enough to have you stuffed with sawdust, mounted on pine and sealed with paraffin wax.”
She *shrugs* “Then when I get bored with you, I’ll set you alight with a spark and watch you burn.”
Now it's Dave's turn to raise an eyebrow.
"Look, if this is your way of tryin to ask me out, all ya gotta do is buy me a drink. We can discuss all the other stuff later. Oh, and it would also help if you stopped blasting us with magic."
"Hmm ... that wasn't meant to happen."
"Ah, it happens to the best of us......"
Dave then takes a shot... unless she actually agrees to stop blasting us.
Shot vs touch: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11 for 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 damage.

@Dave, save your last shot
Abraxi follows Manius back towards … Jake.
The Andoran rears up, crying and snorting like a wild horse. With one clean swipe of his blade, he detaches the Chelish Patriot’s head from her spinal column.
As Jake stands over the woman’s headless body, he looks back at his companions wearing an unreadable expression.
“It’s (Von) Miller Mateweiser time!”
We are OUT OF INITIATIVE.
Searching the enemy’s body nets you a number of scrolls.

Olandril calls back from the helm. “You lot did OK for rookies. We’re clear of the Pinch, so I’m going to dive the Zoot.”
“Next stop – the rendezvous with your Venture-Captain Hugo.”

Dave looks over sadly at the fallen, walks over and places a hand on the remains.
"May Cayden watch over you, unless you choose a different path."
Thanks for letting me save that last shot. Ammunition is expensive, especially at lower levels!

“The Zoot’s *pinged* a lone sailing vessel about two clicks ahead.”
Olandril snaps out of his trance excitedly. “It should be the Irrational Exuberance. Prepare to surface!”
As Olandril pilots the Zoot upwards at a near-vertical angle, the sudden change in water pressure causes the damaged sidewalls of the whale to burst inwards, allowing water to pump into the crew-space at a rapid rate.
Olandril quickly realizes there’s nothing anyone can do to save Poppo's creation. “Grab as much of Poppo and Phelly’s stuff as you can. Looks like we’re going to have to swim for it.”
It seems nothing surprises Venture-Captain Hugo Victor, who has his own ship’s boats launched to pick you all up, as the Pathfinder Society Submarine Bonnifer Zoot slips silently to its final resting place in the deep.
Back on board the Exuberance you are all congratulated on your success by a very relieved VC Hugo. “You had me worried after those two massive fires on either side of the Pinch on successive days. I thought I might have to order a Body Recovery Team into Pezzack.”
“Kal Poppo’s name will be added to the Grand Lodge’s Wall of Names and I will recommend his service be recognized by awarding him the rank of Venture-Lieutenant posthumously.”
The Venture-Captain welcomes Olandril on board warmly, but the jaded agent ignores his outstretched right hand and spits on the immaculate deck. “You can save your pretty speech for someone that gives a Caydamn, Venture-Captain. I am DONE with the Pathfinders.”
He sneers as he walks towards the companionway leading below-decks. “Don’t worry; your precious Society can have all the information I’m carrying in my head. But I’m only talking to Grandmaster Torch. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to get very drunk and then sleep for a week.”
VC Hugo *sighs* but wisely lets the man go. “He’ll come around. In a few days I’ll let him know about all the changes that have occurred while he’s been out in the cold. It’s not like he’s going anywhere.”
With Phelerosa gone, Abraxi and Manius realize they will be in hot water with their Faction Head.
However a couple of days later, the Exuberance’s plain-faced female purser approaches the pair. "On VC Hugo’s orders, I’ve been through Signorina Tempesta-Ciucci’s belongings and discovered an Infernal Contract signed in blood, casting doubt on the legitimacy of the heir of one of Westcrown’s Noble Houses."
"I’m guessing Paracountess Dralneen will be very interested in this when we arrive back in Absalom in a few weeks ..."
