Abraxi's eyes widen as the dead whale porpoises out of the bay, then merely shakes his head as the party begins boarding the cadeverous cetacean.
When the swashbucklers move to stop the party, Abraxi draws his axe and steps up to the one in green leathers, then takes a swing!

As the Pathfinders wonder what is coming next, a humanoid corpse that had been floating in the mucky water to the west, slowly rises, directing a rasping cry of hunger in your direction.

Omar continues twirling his naginata over the fallen swashbucklers as if to say … This is how you do it! before nearly dropping his weapon again.
Abraxi has as much luck locating the whisperer as Dave, and decides to cast a spell.
Steve attempts to cast a slumber hex on the harbor parasite but it fails with the creature being out of range. He then scoots his tired ol’ bones to the east near Omar.

As the pea-like projectile lands amongst the bridge-crew, it’s like all the oxygen in the whale is sucked into that spot, before the conflagration explodes out in a 20’ radius.
The whale’s damp, rubbery walls absorb the shock and heat surprisingly well. The same cannot be said for its occupants. With no time to react, Poppo and Phelerosa are there encouraging each another one second, and are two piles of steaming ash the next.
With the whale coming to a shuddering halt, Olandril fights through the burning pain into the ritual circle. “I can probably keep us moving for a time, but I doubt I’ll survive another shot like that!”
Manius appears to be the only PC caught in the effect.

Jake's horizontal swing eviscerates the creature at navel height. His blade makes short work of the creature’s rotten clothing and skin, resulting in rank brown-green intestines spewing forth from its gut along with enough methane and rotten egg gas to set off harmless secondary explosions amongst the items left smouldering in the fireball’s wake.
As the zombie collapses with a SPLASH, its ‘shell-helmet’ begins flagellating its tentacles to remain afloat in the Whale pond.

@Steve, I have double-moved you on the map to get you closer to the caster. If you only want to do a single move, let me know.
Jake is not as fortunate as Manius and collects an eyeful of glitter, slowing his progress towards his flying opponent.
You failed the Will save and have gained the Blinded condition.
Blinded: The creature cannot see.
It takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class, loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any), and takes a –4 penalty on most Strength- and Dexterity-based skill checks and on opposed Perception skill checks. All checks and activities that rely on vision (such as reading and Perception checks based on sight) automatically fail.
All opponents are considered to have total concealment (50% miss chance) against the blinded character. Blind creatures must make a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check to move faster than half speed. Creatures that fail this check fall prone.
Characters who remain blinded for a long time grow accustomed to these drawbacks and can overcome some of them.
Good News is you can make a new Will save next round to remove the effect.
Do you want to roll a DC 10 Acrobatics check (with a -4 penalty to the roll) to move at full speed (20’ double move in difficult terrain) or just double-move to the west at half speed (10’ in difficult terrain)?
