Grand Lodge

Hello everyone,

I'm glad you showed interest in the project I'm setting up, so here's a thread to discuss how things can/will be done. As written the PM I've sent you, this project aims at playing PFS with the same group of six characters from level 1 to 12 (and beyond!) on these boards. Most of you know each other and know my style, so you know that I like when things move at a good pace, which is a good thing considering the ambition of the project. There are a few steps we can take in order to organize things properly.

1) Know what scenarios you've played so far, so that we can decide on a "playlist" we'd "book" so that we don't end up with someone who can't play a scenario because he's already played it for credit. I think this step is especially important for low levels (1-5), because most scenarios played on these boards belong to that category, and we eac have played many of them. I'm counting on the modules to give us some leeway for that first part, if we can't find any scenario to run.

My choice for the playlist will also be your choice, as I'd like to take your wishes into account as much as I possibly can. One of my goals is to maintain some coherence in the scenario list so that we don't "jump" too much between PFS eras (for example, I'd like to avoid play a scenario where the Shadow Lodge is part of the Society and then play a season 2 scenario when they are the bad guys). In the same manner, I'd like to include series of scenarios (or scenario arcs) as much as possible. For example, Blakros Matrimony/The Disappeared/Fortress of the Nail/Day of the Demon is an excellent arc to play since the consequences of a scenario end up with the situation at the start of the next one in the list.

But first, I must know what scenarios you've played so far. Please fill in your column in the following document: PFS Scenario checklist. A small note: Level 1-2 modules/scenarios are replayable. Only write "yes" if you played it at second level and can't get credit for 2nd level anymore.

2) Create a coherent group. Anything is possible, the cards are in your hands. We could imagine a theme group (single faction, single race, and so on), or simply have everyone creatre their character normally with just a hint of coherence for group balance, since that factor would avoid some of the deaths that are bound to happen sooner or later.

3) Start whenever we are ready. I figured the best possible start would be "The Confirmation" (with or without MotFF before, as you prefer) since it's both repeatable and makes the most sense to be played first.

Let me know what you think!

I would prefer to avoid MotFF, its not very flavourful and only awards 1PP. I am afraid I have played a lot of 1st level scenarios...

As for themes how about same village or same neighbourhood? A group of friends who joined up together. Or same religion, a group who bonded in Pathfinder training because of their shared faith. Being from an unusual region could be fun to Nex, or Vudra perhaps? I do like the idea that we all follow The Confirmation's assumption of 3 years Pathfinder training.

My initial thoughts are Paladin or Magus.

Grand Lodge

Hello everyone!

I am thrilled at this idea, and started trying to think of characters as soon as Lithrac messaged me. I will start by saying I am open to play just about anything. I would prefer to play something that I have not yet played before class-wise just to have a chance to play something new. However I also enjoy playing clerics so that is an easy roll for me to take if others want to do something else.

My current PFS character stable is this:
Cleric of Sarenrae
Barbarian/Witch
Cleric of Asmodeus
Gunslinger
Magus
Paladin
Cavalier
Lore Warden/White Haired Witch

I am also playing a Fire Wizard in a Shattered Star PbP.

There are tons of cool party ideas though that we could look at. All dwarves, for example. Reluctant allies, for another. The crew of the Serenity, for another. etc, etc. I think throwing out some interesting ideas and getting a few solid choices on the table would be best so we can get a party formed pretty quickly.

I'd be ok starting with "The Confirmation" as it's a logical starting point.

Druid or Oracle perhaps Zizazat? I kinda of like all dwarves, but I am not sure I have a good enough handle upon them to RP one to my satisfaction - maybe a female dwarf where I would be less likely to devolve to stereotype?

One thing to consider is that if we plan to advance together teamwork feats will be more viable than usual making classes that use them somewhat stronger. Hunters, Inquisitors, and Cavaliers might thus be good choices.

If we are not going to run First Steps we could all be former residents of that cat infested orphanage, which might be a nice little nod to Society play. We could play it as if the Pathfinders saved us from the woman who runs it - cannot recall her name off the top of my head - and we were so impressed we signed up.

Grand Lodge

Too bad you never had a chance of meeting my PFS dwarf inquisitor of Groetus, a preacher of the End Times! A far cry from the dwarven stereotype, as the character was clearly off his rocker. Alas, he died in the Godsmouth Ossuary because of a fool of a Took halfling.

A theme group would definitely be fun, I think! It just requires everyone to be on board with it. Race is quite a restriction, so maybe a common background - I like the idea of the orphanage.

I'm glad you don't like MotFF by the way. I've played it once and didn't like it at all. I wouldn't have liked to run it, and as you pointed out, it's only 1pp, which negates the wayfinder boon from Confirmation (provided you haven't used it for one of your characters yet) and isn't enough to get a wand at the end of the first scenario. Confirmation it is, then!

I'll also ask about your thoughts on Tier 1-2 modules, which are repeatable at level 1 (and you can play them once for credit at level 2), which might be our saviors to reach level 3 since it will be hard to find a 1-5 or 1-7 scenario no one has played. Any preference between them? For the record, they are:

Godsmouth Ossuary
Crypt of the Everflame
Murder's Mark

Grand Lodge

I've wanted to try a druid for a long time, and a I've flirted with Oracles on a few other occasions. I actually did a Dark Tapestry Oracle build for another game that I was quite in love with. Either is certainly appealing to me.

I love the orphanage idea as a nod/easter egg. It also gives a nice blanket for dissimilar characters to know each other and have strong ties.

Having GM'ed Godsmouth I'd prefer the other two first with a preference for Crypt.

Male

Hey there, everyone. :-)

I'm also of the opinion that I'd like to have a good variety in the PFS characters I play - it doesn't make much sense (to me) to have multiple characters that are essentially the same, because I'd just end up playing them the same and making the same choices, etc. So, here's what I have right now:

Half-Elf Bard (Arcane Duelist)
Halfling Alchemist (Grenadier)
Human (Shoanti) Fighter (Viking)
Human (Keleshite) Druid (Saurian Shaman)
Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum
Halfling Rogue (Knife Master/Scout)
Elf Fighter (Lore Warden)/Wizard (Enhancer) - on his way to Arcane Archer via Eldritch Knight

Other characters/classes I'm interested in playing:

Halfling Cavalier (Beast Rider/Emissary) - this would essentially be a repeat of a deceased character, but he only just got to level 2 before he bit it, so it almost doesn't count

Half-Orc Oracle of Metal/Barbarian/Rage Prophet - not sure whether this is a good/bad concept or not, but it sounds fun

Elf Oracle of Time (Ancient Lorekeeper) - this would be my choice for a single-class oracle

Sorcerer - probably gnome, focused on buffs/illusion

...I could probably get behind just about anything else, as well, but these are the characters I've given some serious thought to.

Anyone's input/thoughts are welcome!

@Pedwiddle, had you considered the Bloodrager class from the ACG in place of your Half-Orc Oracle of Metal/Barbarian/Rage Prophet? It looks like it might be a simpler and perhaps more optimal way to achieve a similar concept.

Any of the modules is good for me, but if we can manage scenarios none of us have played that would be my preference. Scenarios both garner fame more swiftly - I find the fame limits pretty stifling early on - and are more bite sized, and even though we intend to play an ongoing game I like the three incremental power ups over waiting. I should be looking at getting my first star in the next 2-3 months and would be happy to use that to enable me to play something like the Blakros Matrimony/The Disappeared/Fortress of the Nail/Day of the Demon arc.

Auntie Baldwins Spoilers for First Steps:
Looking in to the "orphanage" from First Steps it is Auntie Baldwin's Home for Recovery. She has sick children - who she heals herself while selling the medicine donated for them on the black market - orphans who have nowhere else to go, and the children of wealthy merchants from the district. So if we were there at the same time and became friends we could potentially have very diverse backgrounds.

Technic Siege/Full Map

Hi everyone! This is a grand undertaking. Even if we can knock out a scenario per month, it would take nearly 3 years to reach Seeker status. Not that I mind! I think it's even easier to advance a group via scenarios and modules than via AP's. Those run slower for some reason. Less railroad tracks, I suppose.

I personally think it would be neat to all start fresh characters. Although that certainly needn't be required.

Here are some ideas I'd like to try:

Human Gunslinger (Musket Master) - I feel like they earn a lot of misplaced hate

Gnome Sorceror - I have one doing a no-credit replay as her first scenario. Mike Brock's recent ruling/clarification on replays says they're a no-no unless you're the third or fourth PC to make the table.

Dwarf Barbarian - Could start from scratch. I have a character with 1 XP. I played him as pretty stereotypical for a dwarf, though.

Male

@Broken Prince, looked over it and decided against it because of the limited spell use (late entry, etc.), though some bloodlines do have some interesting features.

With an Oracle (lame curse) 4/Barbarian 2/Rage Prophet X and the magical knack trait, you've got (almost) full caster level (though slightly slower spell progression), and the ability to rage cycle (immunity to fatigue from oracle curse means you can start/stop as a free action with no downside), and a pretty nice spell list (more useful to the group, I think, than the magus spell list used by the bloodrager).

Nature of the beast sadly, PBP is slow, but if we can keep to one posts day or better we should at least feel like we have decent momentum. I understood the idea was for us all to create new characters together not use existing characters.

@Pedwiddle how would that play? Mainly a damage dealer, then buff and damage?

I am still mulling over Magus, but the fact that shocking grasp is so much better than the other options it feels limiting. Maybe an Inquisitor instead? Gah too many choices!

Male

@Broken Prince - I'm assuming that he'd probably concentrate on buffs and utility spells, because his Cha wouldn't be high enough to risk actions on spells requiring saves. He'd be a late-entry barbarian, but I still think he'd be fairly formidable in combat.

That said, I'm not committed to the idea, and would gladly play just about anything else (though I must admit, I'm not terribly fond of playing vanilla summoners or witches - though hexcrafter magus looks interesting - and would have to work, I think, to enjoy straight barbarian, paladin, or ranger).

Sounds good to me Pewiddle.

I think I've gone off the idea of Magus, I either feel like I'm being cheesy or gimping myself, and am both drawn to an repelled by dervish dance.

I was thinking about a half elf summoner with a biped eidolon that focus on fighting together with teamwork feats, etc. His eidolon would be the Bad Boy who he constantly blamed for all his misdeeds throughout childhood. I would likely go Wild Caller and try to make his eidolon appear like a warped evil version of him. Maybe take an elven curved blade for the character and a scythe for the eidolon and a scythe for his eidolon and go butterfly sting?

Grand Lodge

A few things to talk about:

1) Good point about the module's prestige. I'd like to keep to the PFS scenarios if possible, and that is another reason of doing it. We currently have just about enough low-level scenarios to play through levels 1-3 without using modules, but two people (FurtiveZoog and Derek W) haven't filled the chart yet (not to mention a sixth member) so it might change.

2) Speaking of a sixth member, would you have any idea about who to ask? The ideal profile is a regular poster (1+ post a day) who is a friendly and reliable person. Lastly, we'd need someone who hasn't played tons of PFS scenarios, so that we don't make choices worse as far as the playlist is concerned. Tangaroa has his plate full at the moment, and both EndlessForms and WerePox47 have played too many PFS scenarios for our needs. Any ideas?

3) I figured out a temporary playlist, which could be changed by two factors. The first one is the scenarios that Derek, Zoog and #6 have played so far, and the second one is scenarios you'd like to include because of personal preference.

Anyway, comments are welcome! Here goes:

Playlist, take 1:

1.0 5-08 The Confirmation
1.1 0-03 Murder on the Silken Caravan
1.2 0-06 Black Waters

Technic Siege/Full Map

First, I love the idea of building up to Waking Rune right before Eyes!

Second, I added as much as I can remember right now to the list. The games this eliminates from the first round:

Black Waters
Among the Dead
Sanos Abduction
Blakros Matrimony
Day of the Demon
Hellknight's Feast
My Enemy's Enemy
Fate of the Fiend

So only a few really. If I can work up to my third GM star, I'd definitely like to use the replay credits to play Blakros Matrimony and Hellknight' Feast again.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I will not be able to join up because of a lack of time. I'm especially sad since I think Lithrac has the will to get it done, and because I know so many of you and think it is looking to be a great group. (I'm Matt/FurtiveZoog/Norine/Kellean/Oti/etc.)

Thanks for the invite, though, and sorry for taking a bit of time to think it over - I really wanted to, but I just can't make it work at this time.

~~ Matt

Male

I apologize, I had not seen Murder on the Silken Caravan - I'm currently playing it with a level 2 character of mine, so I guess we'll have to switch that one out, too.

Grand Lodge

Too bad you can't join us Matt, it would have been great with you! That brings us to two members to recruit, and I'd rather use word of mouth than public recruitment, if possible.

The list of possible scenarios at low level grows thin, so we may have to do one module after all. I'm considering another possibility, if you're on board with this: for some scenarios, we could actually take turns in GMing, since it appears that a lot of scenarios have been played by only one of us. What do you think?

I am certainly up for that, its a neat way to avoid replays. Have you asked Kludde?

Technic Siege/Full Map

I'd also be willing to GM some of these. I had a couple of players in mind, too. I'll send you a PM.

Male

I've never GM'ed anything online/PbP, and not much else besides, but I know the basics and would be more than willing to give it a shot.

Grand Lodge

I wouldn't have a problem throwing in to GM as needed.

Grand Lodge

Outstanding! :)

I haven't asked Kludde yet, since have only taken part to one of his games so I don't really know him. If you think he'd be a great addition, I'll gladly involve him. The same goes for the two names you've suggested, Derek.

As for the playlist, can we shift it a little? For every scenrio, could you indicate one of the following indications:

P - you played it
P* - you played it and would be willing to use a star to play it again
GM - you GMed it
GM* - you GMed it and would be willing to use a star to GM it again

and of course, combinations of those (P+GM, P+GM*, P*+GM, P*+GM*)

Male

Am I correct in assuming that if we have no experience GMing PFS (and thus no stars at the moment), we would have no expectation of earning a star during this series of scenarios?

Grand Lodge

The first star is earned at 10 tables GMed, so I wouldn't expect someone to. That being said, if you don't want to GM it's okay, I believe everyone else has experience as a GM on PbP and with PFS, so we'll be enough. But if you want to try it, that would be a good opportunity to do so, even if it's just 1-2 scenarios.

Male Human

Hey guys, just got a PM about this project. Terrific idea.

I'll fill out the scenario thingy in just a bit. I've played quite a few though due to these boards so I'm not sure I have many options outside of The Confirmation and the modules. Once I get to level 3 it opens up a bit more.

As far as a character to play that's wide open as well. I'm sure I could come up with something within the background you guys wanted to use.

As far as GMing, I've never done it.

Male Human

OK I've filled it out. I just put down a "P" for everything I've played/currently playing/scheduled to play. I see that Thornkeep is not listed but I've being run through them all on the boards so I couldn't do them anyway. I haven't played The Accursed Halls with a 2nd level PC yet however.

As far as The Waking Rune, I'm currently playing that in the PbP Game Day now. However, we ain't doin' so hot so if I die it would be available.

Hi Rycky,

You certainly played a lot of PFS, and I'm a little bit afraid that it would make things too hard for us to find scenarios to play. We'd like to avoid modules if we can.

One problem is that I intended to play the season 4 tier 7-11 arc: 4-08 The Cultist's Kiss, 4-10 The Feast of Sigils, 4-12 The Refuge of Time, 4-20 Words of the Ancient, 4-26 The Waking Rune. Since you're currently playing "The Waking Rune" and have played "The Refuge of Time", I can see this becoming a problem.

It's also a shame that you've never GMed, since it would have opened some possibilities.

Sorry to turn you down, but I think it would be too hard to make things work with the number of scenarios you've played.

Male Human

Quite alright, I thought it could be an issue. Thanks for the invite though!

Hi all, thanks for the PM, the recommendation and the invitation. I've gone ahead and filled out the spreadsheet.

The idea of having (something of ) a single, coherent story arc with a recurring group of players sound very interesting - I've been doing a similar thing as a player in Bluedove's Devil We Know series (which BP is involved in as well)

I have absolutely no problems with taking turns GMing, I would even mind to do substantial portions of this if you enjoy playing more. I've been GMing more than playing, and tend to prefer it over playing too (which is mostly because I don't like to spend time performing accountancy on my characters, though this PCGen app I have now helps me with that).

| AbadarCorp Entertainment Official GM | How is my flying? | DICEBOT LOVES YOU |Starship combat cheat sheet | STEAL THIS TEMPLATE | Traveling until Jan 3, reduced posting frequency expected

would -> would not. I should warn you that I am a horrible typer, though :)

Here's a slightly different idea (not intended as a threadjack, just an idea I'm offering): play the whole of season six

- PbP (with dedicated players) run about 4 week each.
- Scenarios come out at a rate of twice a month
- Start every scenario as soon as it comes out, with whatever PC is available
- (On average) run two tables concurrently.
- We might even ask for special dispensation to run a special on the board (which will take some planning)

The advantage of playing a season rather than a series of modules is that the storyline (the metaplot) actually remains intact. The downside is that everybody needs to have PCs at the right tier (or play pregens).

I'd be entirely willing to DM the whole thing (hell, if I find a dedicated group I might even do this), though a revolving DM solution would probably work better.

I see the appeal of the idea Kludde - and welcome aboard BTW :) - but as I only get a chance to run in PBP I've only got 2nd level characters, a few soon to be 3rd. Also I really like the idea of characters progressing together more so than simply the same players, I love developing in character relationships and feel its one of the things I miss most in PFS.

I certainly endorse Kludde as a DM, though I will continue to badger him occasionally to switch to Google Docs for mapping - you can move them on your normal program as a reference and then move them all on docs when you get the chance! Getting to go to the ball in The Disappeared is probably the highlight of my PFS career - running it at the moment BTW.

Since we are struggling for low level scenarios though how about putting first steps back into the picture? It would mean nixing the Auntie Baldwin's idea, but there are plenty of orphanages - Cayden Cailean is supposed to have a lot of them for one. The Confirmation then First Steps should make sense I think.

We might also be from the same Noble family, Chelish or Taldan. We could claim the patriarch was a notorious philanderer allowing us choice of human, hal elf, half orc, aasimar, and tieflings. That might also create some interesting relationship dynamics, if for example one is the true born son another a bastard, etc.

Grand Lodge

That's an interesting idea Kludde, and certainly one you could propose to people around, but I'd like this group to keep to the first concept (same characters from 1 to 12+, play story arcs as much as we can, up to Eyes of the Ten).

It's actually great to see so many people agreeing to GM, since I love playing as much as GMing, and a rotation would also help avoiding "GM burnout".

The only thing is that I would like to GM EotT since I have a good chance to play it live well before then.

I'm working on the playlist at the moment, I should have a proposition up that doesn't include First Steps and that would allow us to keep the orphanage idea (brilliant btw!).

EDIT: Finished the playlist (mark II)! You can find it on page 3 of the spreadsheet. I've tried to include as many story arcs as possible, and used them in an order that doesn't mess with the other scenarios.

The list looks great. While I wouldn't want to impose myself, feel free to jot me down for any opening on that list (except for - perhaps - the Confirmation, though if I draw the shortest straw I'll run it)

Now for an interesting character concept... (I still have that Oread boon from PbP game day, but I guess I'm not the only one). Taldan bastard sounds like fun... (->whips up the good old PC Gen<-)

Did you get it from the PbP Gameday 2? I've reported both of my games but received nothing yet.

Yes. I got a report in before the tool was created, so all the reporting and boons were treated manually by Jesse

Technic Siege/Full Map

Ok, so I'm going to commit a bit more specifically.

Right now, I want to play either a paladin or a gunslinger (heck I could multi-class to get *both*. I could easily see making a Taldan guy if that's the way we want to go, at least more easily than Chelaxian. Or we can stick to the orphan story. I thought that was pretty neat...

And I *love* that list of games. I mean, there's a couple here and there that aren't super-awesome. But it includes so many scenarios that ARE awesome that we should more than make up for it.

@GM Lithrac looks great to me.

Its Auntie Baldwin, here's the pertinent information in the spoiler belwo. And yes that is my favourite background option if we do not need to run first steps. I'll point out that Auntie Baldwin is specifically called out as treating the small races like children talking slow and telling them off even if they are PCs, etc.

Auntie Baldwin's Home for Recovery:

Looking in to the "orphanage" from First Steps it is Auntie Baldwin's Home for Recovery. She has sick children - who she heals herself while selling the medicine donated for them on the black market - orphans who have nowhere else to go, and the children of wealthy merchants from the district. For those who do not recall she keeps many cats to. So if we were there at the same time and became friends we could potentially have very diverse backgrounds.

@GMDW - There's also the Holy Gun Paladin archetype from UC. Just sayin'...

I also approve of the list, and should be able to pick up a copy of The Penumbral Accords without too much trouble. That said, could someone walk me through the particulars of signing up to be an official PFS GM (if such a thing is required) at some point?

I'd be happy with any of the backstory options available to us, though the orphanage will give us a little more leeway in race.

Are we a full group yet? Does anyone other than GMDW have any specific requests or suggestions for their class/archetype/theme?

| AbadarCorp Entertainment Official GM | How is my flying? | DICEBOT LOVES YOU |Starship combat cheat sheet | STEAL THIS TEMPLATE | Traveling until Jan 3, reduced posting frequency expected

(@BP: I thought you meant who it was that rescued us form Auntie Baltwin, i.e. who the pathfinders were that did the investigation in the First Steps module.)

There's no signing up to be a GM. The only thing you'll have to do get GM credit is register your game once it's complete.

Technic Siege/Full Map

@Pedwiddle - I definitely had my eye on that. Although Holy Gun is not PFS legal. And I don't currently own UC - not that the pdf would cost too much. I've read that doing a paladin/gunslinger multiclass or just going paladin and picking up the gun feats can be mechanically superior to the archetype.

But I don't want my character to be TOO broken. Paladins and gunslingers both have enough going for them as it is...

Basically, I am volunteering to fill either a melee or ranged damage role. These are the ones I tend to enjoy playing most. And with good charisma, the paladin also would let me help out with face skills. Not enough skill points for much knowledge, though.

I like playing clerics too, so I'd do that if no one else wants to take on divine casting full-time.

@DM Kludde ah, I see, that makes sense.

My summoner would essentially be a melee character, probably just a fourteen charisma, etc. I imagine his eidolon will be fairly tanky especially given the huge advantage of it essentially being expendable.

@GM Derek W there is a mounted cavalier gun archetype in Inner Sea book that is I believe PFS legal, have not really looked at it, but could be worth checking out.

Grand Lodge

I didn't previously indicate P+GM on Midnight Mauler but I ran that several times as the VC special back in season 2 so we need to find something different there. Sorry.

Male

@GMDW - whoops, didn't even check to see if it was PFS legal...

So, thus far:

Broken Prince - Melee Summoner w/tanky eidolon (& summons)

GM Derek W - Melee or Ranged Paladin (possibly ranged multi-classed with gunslinger)
GM Lithrac -
Pedwiddle -
Zizazat -

@BP - Since you'll only ever have one summoned creature out at a time (no master summoner in PFS, much to my disappointment), can I assume that round 1 of combat (when melee closes) will generally be throwing out a summon? If we have enough melee, you might consider going ranged, or possibly using a reach weapon as your primary.

Along those lines, if anyone is unsure of what class they want to play, there's definitely a case to be made for having a couple of pet classes (druid/summoner/hunter/cavalier/etc.) in the group and having someone play some flavor of bard or an evangelist cleric to maximize the benefit of their performance.

I am leaning druid but I'll need to play with a build and see if I can do something I like.

I'm looking at alchemists right now, being a chemist myself...

Thanks for letting me know Zizazat, I've replaced it with "Song of the Sea Witch", but any suggestion would be fine.

Pedwiddle, I actually own "The Penumbral Accords" even though I haven't read it. I could lend it to you if that okay?

Concerning the sixth person, I contacted Mezegis after Derek's recommendation, but he hasn't answered yet. I suggest we wait until this weekend and ask another person if Mezegis remains unavailable.

As for my character, I usually don't enjoy playing non-full casters, and since I'll GM a good deal of the time it doesn't seem reasonable for me to play the healer. I was thinking about a divine caster. Since Zizazat is interested in druid, that leaves Oracle (I love that class), Cleric, or Inquisitor. In fact, I could recreate my Dwarven Inquisitor (Preacher) of Groetus, a completely mad preacher of the End Times. He died during the PbP day in Godsmouth Ossuary, and since it was its first scenario, I was a bit frustrated not to be able to play him further. But playing him for the full 12 levels, not so sure about that.

We don't have a full arcane caster, so I could also play a wizard, which is probably my favorite class, or a sorcerer. I'll play a bit with HeroLab to see if I can build something interesting along those lines.

EDIT: ... or a witch! That would be something interesting. I'll investigate the class further.

If this isn't helpful, let me know, but the most recent thoughts on characters are (with possible choices in parenthesis):

Broken Prince - Melee Summoner w/tanky eidolon (& summons)
DM Kludde - Possible alchemist (melee or ranged?)
GM Derek W - Paladin (melee or ranged? possibly multi-classed with gunslinger)
GM Lithrac - Full caster (most likely arcane?)
Pedwiddle -
Zizazat - Possible druid (caster or companion? melee or ranged?)

With this lineup, we have no dedicated healer (though we might be fine between a druid and a paladin), and no general party support.

I'll hold off on a choice for the moment, but right now, I think a bard would be the best fit - party support (inspire courage, finale spells, etc), another off-healer, and an arcane caster for when Lithrac is GM'ing.

Thoughts or clarifications?

I'm definitely interested in playing a witch, probably with the Winter Witch archetype. I'll be able to cast cure spells, use wands (including infernal healing), and have access to the Healing hex, which is a free CLW spell once per day per person (CMW at 5th).
