I stated previously that the portal blocks line of sight, Eryzule. Just to confirm, you want to move through the portal then cast the spell?

The Pink Xill, hearing sounds of spellcasting coming from the space next to it, unleashes a blind flurry of attacks in Melisande's direction! Four of the creatures attacks seem to land on her despite the invisibility, but the sorceress is able to maintain her spellcasting through the damage! The Purple Xill flails continuously against Andor's defenses, but is unable to land an attack. Meanwhile, the volley of arrows continue towards Brallenera; only an arrow landing but not doing enough damage to get through the dwarf's thick skin!

Then danger floof finds its original target no longer viable, so it sinks its fangs into the pink Xill and downs that one instead!

**Botting Brallenera**

The dwarf, now with more room to maneuver, advances forwards to attack one of the xill in the back! She unfortunately trips slightly on one of the multitude of semi-ghostly plants in the room as she swings, missing the xill completely!

Locke and Eryzule continue to evaluate the virtues of entering into an unknown situation beyond the confounding portal!

For those unfamiliar with my methodology of spoilers below, I find automating the exploring process helpful with moving things along; especially with my work schedule. Do not read any "Secret Spoiler" below unless directed to do so by a player or a previous spoiler. Otherwise, feel free to continue as normal.

Instruct anyone opening the secret door to read/reveal the contents of "Secret Spoiler A" to the group.

Secret Spoiler A:
This simple compartment ends where two angled walls come to a point. Lines engraved into the crystal along these walls give the chamber a sense of motion toward the terminus of the bulkheads.

Detect Magic with a DC 20 Arcana check will reveal the contents of Secret Spoiler B. A DC 15 Perception Check will reveal the contents of Secret Spoiler C.

Secret Spoiler B:
The terminus of the bulkhead (the far pointed end of the secret compartment) radiates strong conjuration magic, leaning towards the teleportation subtype. You suspect touching the terminal point of the chamber will result in being teleported somewhere.

Anyone touching the terminal point of the chamber should read "Secret Spoiler D."[ooc]

Secret Spoiler C:
You notice a collection of dirt and fingerprints clustered around the engraved lines near the pointed end of the chamber. The chamber is bare of anything else of note.

Secret Spoiler D:
With a twisting wrench of vertigo and a sudden blur of your vision, you find yourself teleported into a different chamber. You are now in an approximately 20 foot by 20 foot room, the towering walls of the chamber lined with opaque slightly glowing crystalline pods. Undiscernible shapes can be seen through the glow, unmoving within the crystal pods themselves. The room itself does not seem to have an exit of any kind. In the center of the room on a plinth is a small crystalline spike, the spike itself appearing to be a miniature replica of the massive spike on the front of the ship. A circular etching and design decorates the plinth around the spike, having two distinct halves to the etching. One half of the circular design is filled with the similar engraved lines to the secret chamber you were in before. The other half of the circular design is adorned with stars and otherworldly planets.

Detect Magic and a DC 20 Arcana check will reveal the content of "Secret Spoiler E." A DC 15 Perception check will reveal the content of "Secret Spoiler F."

Secret Spoiler E:
You detect strong transmutation auras on all of the crystalline pods in this room, though you are unable to determine what type of effect is on them. The crystalline spike on the plinth radiates strong conjuration magic, once again of the teleportation subtype. You do note, however, that the spike seems to be attuned to two different destinations; aligned with the two different designs on the plinth. You suspect touching the one side of the spike that matches the grooved lines will take you back to the secret chamber, while touching the side with the stars will take you to a different location.

Inform anyone touching the star side of the plinth the read "Secret Spoiler G." Anyone touching the grooved line side will return back to the secret chamber next to the room with the Xill combat.

Secret Spoiler F:
You notice the spike is covered with a multitude of finger prints, though they seemed only focused on either of two sides of the spike matching the designs on the plinth itself. You suspect that touching this spike will result in a similar effect to touching the grooved lines of the previous chamber.

Inform anyone touching the star side of the plinth the read "Secret Spoiler G." Anyone touching the grooved line side will return back to the secret chamber next to the room with the Xill combat

Secret Spoiler G:
This feels like the heart of the strange ship, and the pulse of its energy is almost palpable. The cabin is dominated by a cube composed entirely of brass that balances on one point atop a 3-foot crystal plinth, where it rotates slowly counterclockwise. Every inch of this cubiform monolith is covered in cramped script, symbols, schematic designs, and glyphs. Blue tracers of power flash across its surface every few seconds and are absorbed into these etched characters.

Tereze uses her scroll of remove paralysis to free Brallenera from her 3.88 hours of paralysis; leaving the dwarf with only a slight crick in her back from being stuck in an uncomfortable position for a bit.

After some discussion and no-one voicing any concerns, the group follows the kitsune through the teleportation point into the room with spike on the plinth. The group then collectively touches the spike to teleport to the next, unexplored location. The group appears in a cramped chamber, with a flight up stairs upward being the only exit. They ascend into a more open chamber...

Additionally, two obvious crystal archways lead into smaller rooms behind the floating cube on crystal plinth. The rooms are bare, the layout leading one to believe that these might have been a helmsman's quarters at some point.

Perception DC 20:
You notice that there is an obscured shape curled into fetal position within the crystal plinth below the floating cube. The means of reaching or interacting with the figure is not immediately apparent.

Knowledge Arcana DC 20 or Intelligence DC 25:
You identify a way to manipulate the floating cube using the various symbols on the crystal plinth. You believe that it is possible to release what the plinth labels as "living power source" from the plinth itself using a combination of symbols, if desired.

Knowledge Engineering DC 20 or Wisdom DC 25:
You identify a combination of symbols on the plinth that indicate manipulation of the structure of the ship itself. You believe by activating them, you could potentially open any closed door on the ship; even hidden or secret ones.

Perception DC 50:
With incredibly keen vision, you notice almost completely imperceptible lines in the wall next to the stairs; leading you to believe that there is a secret door in this chamber. The means of opening it are not immediately apparent.

Unfortunately, the crystal is opaque and only gives impression that the creature is medium sized and appears humanoid in shape. Exact identification is impossible unless you have abilities that might assist (e.g. can see through stone/crystal, a spell that identifies creatures, etc).
